Pretty much a disaster apart from the lovely treatments.
In summary, very dirty room that had to be re-cleaned, unrelaxing Spa area due to children, poor meal (no venison but not told until 20 mins after the starter), raw lamb, ice in the port, and no cheese on the cheese and biscuits), all topped off by a dis-organised breakfast service!

The facilities are great, loved the swimming pool, steam room and sauna. The staff were all friendly except for one lady (who was snooty and appeared cross with us when unable to find our booking) and the ladies showers look very tired, but all in all is great value on the wahanda deal

It was my daughter and friend that came to your Hotel, and they really enjoyed the day. The down side was the woman on reception who was snooty, unfriendly and unhelpful. My daughter told me that other people had found her very rude.
But will she come again, yes.

This was a fantastic spa break - really excellent value for money, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Don't go expecting a 5* hotel - this place is not a fancy pants place, just a really cool, chilled out environment full of rustic charm. The rooms were comfortable & spacious, the food was hearty & tasty (lunch was so-so but worth skipping to indulge in a full on dinner) and the spa treatments were amazing. The gym & pool were a bit small, but acceptable. The awesome spa pool more than made up for it! All in all, highly recommend this place for a chilled out weekend of lazing and eating.

The room was lovely and clean. A few issues with fixtures an fittings as our sink was about to fall off the wall, but overall it was cosy and spacious. The facilities were spot on, along with the food options. The cost was excellent for what we received. A lovely weekend a away.

There was no availability at the Spa so the weekend didn't go ahead. The Spa could only offer another night but it had to be booked within 2 months which is most unsuitable due to work commitments and other social calendar events. Even though they could not meet our requirements, they refused a refund or to extend the 2 month slot. Very unreasonable!

The lunch time tables were not cleared away. I had a large crack in my wine glass at my evening meal.we had booked a slot for our treatments at the same time well in advance, only to find out we were not able to be accommodated on the day. The breakfast mug in the morning was chipped all the way around the top of the mug,and I was unable to find a side plate anywhere to place my toast on once I had made it.we have stayed at tankersley before and found this time standards had dropped in comparison.this is a shame as we do like the hotel. Staff were lovely and always helpful.

This was my first pedicure experience and was purchased by my husband as a birthday surprise.
I was unsure what to expect but it was done in a private room and the member of staff put me at ease straight away.
Lovely atmosphere and very relaxing great job on feet and nails too.
Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

I find the whole experience to be really relaxing, mainly due to the atmosphere at the spa. The facilities meet my expectations and provide a calm environment. I would recommend Tankersley Spa to anyone wishing to relax.

Staff in the restaurant were not very helpful and we would have stayed for lunch if someone had been around or approached us.
There is no facilty to use your hair straightners which is important to a woman after swimming etc
We did have a nice time and it was good value for the money though .
