I booked this for my daughters birthday we had alovely day. The only thing let it down was that the showers in the treatment room was grubby in the corners. Apart from that a good day and food was lovely

I really enjoyed this spa break; I went for a 1 night spa break at the Ashford International Hotel and thought it was very good value for money.
The pros: dinner was a la carte and lovely, our waitress Angie was so lovely.
The swimming pool is warm and a good length, not too busy when we used it on Saturday morning. The sauna and steam room are very clea, as well as the jacuzzi and heated beds.
The hotel room is clean, there is tea and coffee available as well as complimentary water.
The hotel staff are very welcoming.

Cons: the buffet breakfast and lunch were too salty, and proved difficult to eat for our healthy lifestyle. There was no gravy with the roast chicken for lunch so it ended up tasting very dry.
The spa treatment was mediocre. Mum and I had a back exfoliation and massage plus a facial cleanse, tone and moisturise. Finally, it ended with a scalp massage. I felt like I did not receive the full 50 minutes, it was only 40 as I kept an eye on the time. Additionally, my treatment left me covered in acne the next day so I wondered what kind of 'natural' oils they used during the massage. The therapist herself was mediocre, the massage did not focus on my neck at all, despite that being part of the description. She also completely ignored the sides of my face and the nose area during the facial massage, as well as the back of my head during the scalp massage. It felt as if it was half-done.

I would definitely visit here again because I thought the hotel as a whole was lovely and they had a great gym, which I used. The dinner menu is also great and the drinks in the bar are well priced. The spa area is clean and has everything I could have wanted. I would only say that the treatment I received was mediocre but my mum said hers was great. Perhaps it depends on which therapist is doing the treatments at the time.
I think the lunch and breakfast buffet over saltiness could have also been a one off, but it's worth bearing in mind.

My friend and I both booked for the Rebalancing treatment, afterwards I discovered mine differed to my friend's and so took it up with the staff who immediately booked me in for a complementary 30 minute treatment to compensate. The lunch was 4 courses and the evening meal was amazing. Would like to return. My only disappointment was the size of the Jacuzzi.

The staff were really welcoming and helpful. The treatments were lovely & dinner was delicious. Only thing worth mentioning is if you want to use pool/sauna/steam room/jacuzzi these are busy at weekends with members of public coming in to use them.

Was a lovely experience. And you get lots for your money. Felt very relaxed on my break away. The evening food was good and breakfast was good, but lunch Buffett could've maybe had more choice. The hotel was a lovely setting and good facilities in the hotel and the room. Majority of staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and will most likely go again for myself.

Fairly average experience over Easter Sunday. Place was very busy too which might have contributed, but overall disagree with the previous contributions/ratings.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfy. Dinner, breakfast and lunch included with our stay was excellent and the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault that. Spa facilities were good, however the jacuzi was tiny! Everything was really clean though and they have a lovely big swimming pool to get a decent swim in. Spa treatments were great, the facial was really good and my therapist provided me with advice afterwards to how best care for my skin. The leg and foot scrub was good, however cpuld have been improved with more time spent on a foot massage. Overall a very nice hotel and excellent value!

Everything was almost perfect but the staff on reception could have been a little more happier. When we arrived the lady that served us didn't seem to know what she was doing and took a while to check us in. The spa staff were not very organised and booked my mums treatment in wrong and didn't do what she wanted. Our head massages wasn't great and mum didn't even get one so a bit disappointed. However the therapists were lovely and other treatments were great.

Really great value for money. Restaurant staff, Tony made a huge fuss of my mum who was celebrating her 83rd Birthday. She had a smashing time.

Excellent value for money; treatments, lunch, dinner, bed and breakfast for a ridiculously low price, thought it was going to be good but it was excellent and the food was excellent quality too.

Spa staff were brilliant, very helpful and welcoming.
The facilities were good when not too busy.
Hotel restaurant was less in terms of customer service as we were left standing waiting to be seated and the food took too long once we ordered.
Overall however we found this good value and a relaxing break.

Treatments were excellent - a real treat by lovely staff. Steam room was good. Swimming pool was full of children in the afternoon which spoilt the atmosphere, also more loungers are needed around the pool area. Hot tub could also do with being bigger. Hotel room was great. We also had lunch, dinner and breakfast included in our package - all very enjoyable and certainly excellent value for money. Would certainly go again (and maybe book our treatments for the afternoon to avoid the kids in the pool).

Massage was excellent but pool/sauna/steam room were full of children doing swim lessons throughout the day - not relaxing. The service at the restaurant was SLOW.
