The only issue was the lady there wasn't aware of my appointment. I think that was her managers fault. He rang at 4.45 my appointment was at 4. But she looked at my email and did my tattoo

I was excited to get a booking especially on a Sunday. After being rudely greeted by a lady in the Southend Vic store, I was asked to sit down and wait as she was not yet ready to do my treatment. After realising I had a pedicure appointment, she simply told me "no not today". After calling Wahanda and another Southend branch she told me I should go over there and acted very disinterested. After walking 10 minutes to the other branch I was asked to sit and wait as another lady was on her break... 40 minutes later my treatment begun and it was okay. Not the best pedicure in the world but definitely not the worst. Lovely store, nicely set out, lots of nice colours to choose from. I can't help but observe that the girl's have trouble understanding English and a smile would go a long way. I personally didn't have a great experience here and perhaps I should've left. But I did notice this branch offers 2 treatments at the start of the month for £30 which is very good - so my advise to anyone thinking about coming here would be to call the store direct or simply book in store.

What I liked: one of the staff very friendly and tried to help. Once the confusion over my booking was solved, the threading was done fast and professionally.

What I didn't like: one staff member quite blunt and not helpful. The store didn't even know they took bookings through wahanda. I was expected to leave the store once I arrived to go print out the voucher at an Internet cafe to prove I paid - this was not stated when I booked through wahanda and hasn't happened when I've visited other salons before.
