I had a dry cut with Klaudia today, just to refresh the length and take some weight out. She asked me questions about how I kept my hair and what care I already implemented. I learnt a lot from this short appointment; how I should maintain the health and what products I should use. Lovely interior of the salon and looking forward to my next appointment.
I booked a cut and finish but got charged more on exit as “more work had to be done”. I carefully looked at the descriptions of the service before booking and decided a consultation wasn’t necessary as I knew it was cut and fringe. I didn’t need to be seated to discuss face shape etc. However I accept that maybe it was more work due to my long hair and feel the salon should distinguish that in their pricing if that’s what they have to. And it should also have been made clear when I stated what I wanted that it would cost more and not just telling me when I was about to leave that it’s gone up in price. Hair cut itself was good but feel a little transparency is required beforehand when you walk in and not a surprise when you walk out. I didn’t complain at the time as I wanted to review the service I’d booked versus the treatment I paid for.
