Had my semi-permanent eyebrows done, very relaxing atmosphere and everything was explained to me before I went in for the treatment. It's on a quiet street and Nicole is very friendly and welcoming. Brow shape was perfect and was very happy with colour as well. Highly recommended.

I had semi-permanent make-up done on my eyebrows 10 weeks ago and they look
absolutely brilliant. Nicole is an absolute perfectionist and I will certainly go back to her for
treatments on other areas.

I have had semi permanent make up treatments on my eyebrows on three occasions in the past during the last couple of years and this was by far the best result. Although I knew what to expect, Nicole (the lady who carried out the treatment) explained each step of the process and what result I could expect to achieve.

The semi permanent make up I'd had done on my eyebrows previously was still visible but quite faded in places, not only did Nicole filled in the gaps but created a whole new look using the stroke effect where each hair is nicely defined.

I am very happy with the shape and colour it was exactly what I wanted. I was concerned that it might fade after the first couple of weeks, as has happened on previous occasions, but am pleased to say that two months later my eyebrows still look as good as they did when the semi permanent make up was first applied.

This was a really good deal and excellent value for money! The service and result achieved were first class, I would definitely recommend

This is my first time having a semi-permanent make up done. The place is nice and everything is very professional. Nicole was very friendly and knows what she was doing. It wow-ed me when I saw her work being the tattoo-ing, her draw-on with a brush is amazing.

The whole procedure went by really quick (just a little over 2 hours for consultation & the tattooing). It was reassuring to be told what was being done to my brows.. anesthetic creams was put and I could feel a little scratchy and that was it! Nothing too scary or painful.

I am due to go back in 1.5 months to have it re-touched (at a price) and hopefully it will last for long after ~ :)

I had the semi-permanent eyebrow treatment with Penny who was really lovely and explained all the details and after care, etc.
The treatment itself wasn't painful as a numbing cream was applied.
I was really pleased with the shape and colour of my eyebrows afterwards and there wasn't much swelling.
There was slight scabbing a few days later and when it came off, the colour underneath appeared quite faint. A couple of weeks later, I have started to use a little bit of eye pencil but will go for a follow up in a few weeks. Hopefully after that the colour will be stronger and last for months!

I must start by stressing that my opinions of the salon/therapist and my opinions of the treatment itself are very different.
The salon is a beautiful place with incredibly professional staff, impeccably clean rooms and a great ambience. I felt very comfortable there. My therapist was smart and polite but very approachable. She started by explaining the procedure to me and stressed that semi-permanent (tattoo) makeup is effective to different degrees on different people, and that fine/natural eyeliner (or "lash enhancement") can last as little as 2 weeks (but in some people it stays for a couple of years!). This made me very hesitant for a moment and I think at that point I could and perhaps should have opted out.

However I went ahead with the treatment. My therapist talked me through every step of the way reassuringly. You have to sit still with your eyes closed for about 30 minutes while the anaesthetic cream works on your eyelids. This is quite scary because if you open your eyes and it gets in it is apparently quite painful. Your eyelids feel very tingly and heavy, overall quite odd, by the end of this. But the needle itself is totally painless. It feels like a tickle (imagine another person trying to do your eyeliner for you) and can be difficult to tolerate without twitching or wanting to move but it does NOT hurt. Overall the treatment took exactly 2 hours.

She let me look in the mirror afterwards and added an extra layer to one eye at my request, as I thought they weren't quite even (this was minor but since I was there I wanted to leave sure that I had what I wanted, and she did not seem to mind at all, in fact she agreed on looking closely).

My eyes looked a little bit sore, as though I had cried for a few minutes. The liner at this stage was very thin and very dark, but perfectly applied. I wore sunglasses home. I actually socialised with friends that night, none of whom commented on any puffiness.

As my therapist warned, my eyes were actually puffier the next day and I woke up with them stinging quite a lot. Until this point I had been thrilled by the treatment but for about 4 days after I then had puffy, sore eyes that required constant paracetamol and felt really itchy. I followed the instructions about washing/ not touching/ not wearing makeup but still managed to get a little infection under one eye (went away with an antibiotic cream).

Once the scabs (not noticeable) fell off the liner on the bottom was very thin and not very noticeable. I was rather disappointed for about a week and decided that I would not have it done again.

A month or so later, I do notice that actually when I have no makeup on, there is a fine line of pigment that enhances my lashes. This is most effective on the top lid, the line on the bottom has really faded to nothing.

I think for this treatment, compared to other advertised prices, this place offers a good deal and a very professional job. I cannot fault the therapist that I had. The treatment itself is very subtle and perhaps not worth the week long discomfort for the effect it has (or has not!) had.

Overall I am indifferent. A good price and great salon if you are determined to get this done, but after all I would next time spend my money on something else and invest in really good eyeliner!!

I was desperate to sort out my short, ,unshapely, unsightly eyebrows, but terrified about having this treatment! Penny made me feel completely relaxed about the whole experience and assured the whole way through the experience, checking the entire time that I was okay. I now have the most amazing eyebrows and I am SO happy! I can't stop looking at them in the mirror! It's been four weeks since the treatment and there is a slight fading of the right eyebrow; however Penny did advise me that this may happen and a reapplication may be required at around five weeks. Given how happy I have been with my new eyebrows, I will be happy to ahead. Penny said that once the top up has been completed, the semi permanent make up should last for a few months....fingers crossed!

Ink Aesthetics is a very relaxing place. Therapist, Nicole, is the best therapist I've ever met. Very friendly, attentive and professional. And I was completely satisfied with the treatment (semi-permanent eyeliner top and bottom). I will definitely be going back for my second treatment!

My treatment started 40 minutes later than planned (therapist was late...) I was explained every step of the procedure and the aftercare, my questions has been answered, which is fine. I draw the shape of my eyebrows for her so she sees exactly what my desired shape was. It really wasn't nothing unusual and I exactly knew what I wanted, which in normal circumstances should help the therapist. Unfortunately it took a while before she managed to draw something barely similar...In fact at the end I was amending the shape with her equipment!!! Final drawing was different to initially marked required shape. I just had an impression that therapist had her own idea...Anyway, brows are thinner than i wanted, but at the moment i won't raise the issue because i second treatment is required anyway (SURPRISE!!)... which btw appears to be more expensive than the voucher itself (voucher 89 and second visit 120) I hope I can amend my shape when repeating the procedure. Hope so....My brows are fuller and naturally nicely shaped - purpose of the visit was to enhance them. At the moment results are 5 out of 10....Thanks Penny!

I had my lashes done by the lovely Penny. She was very busy in the run-up to Christmas, but managed to squeeze me in. Plus it was a 2-for-1 offer so it was a bargain! Result!

I booked a treatment for permanent make up as my natural eyebrow grows just a little, every 3 to 5 years I am refreshing old tattoos instead. The salon is very easy to find. After feeling some forms, the therapist step by step explained to me the procedure and applied some anaesthetic cream. I was really pleased how Penny found exact colour mixture and patiently pencil in different shapes until our full satisfaction. The result was just perfect. I would highly recommend her as a professional permanent make – up therapist as she definitely knows what she is doing and I enjoying my new eyebrows and receiving compliments about them.

I had my eyebrows and eyeliner done with Penny, which is a lovely therapist ! The procedure lasted for for a few hours but I felt so relaxed cause she was doing everything to keep me happy. The results are amazing and I love my eyeliner..she actually managed to imitate hair and my eyebrows look almost real.
I am going back to see her in a few weeks for a top up.

Penny carried out the semi permanent eyelashes. She was very pleasant and friendly, however not sure about the method and materials used. Unfortunately, the eyelash glue that was used was very strong and gave off a lot of fumes. My throat and nostrils were burning and sore by the end of the treatment and the lashes were not as natural-looking as past treatments carried out by other salons, they were thick and plastic looking. Also, she stuck some kind of tape directly under my eyes before placing the eye gel pads over and it pulled the skin as she removed it. The lashes lasted a good 4-5 weeks but I found that I would get some attacks of stinging and my eyes would water a lot, no more stinging now that the lash extensions have gone.
