THIS COMPANY WAS A TOTAL SCAM AND NOW IT IS DISSOLVED, THEY TOOK MORE THAN £200 FROM MYSELF FOR 6 LAZER TREATMENT SESSIONS OUT OF WHICH ONLY 3 TREATMENTS WERE DONE ON MYSELF WHICH WERE NOT DONE PROPERLY, SINCE THE 3RD TREATMENT EXCUSES WERE MADE AND MY TREATMENTS WERE CANCELLED BY THEM SAYING THEIR LAZER LADY WAS NOT AROUND, I WENT TO UXBRIDGE LAST MONTH TO BOOK MY 4TH TREATMENT AND WHAT DO I SEE, THE STAFF ARE THE SAME BUT COMPANY NAME CHANGED TO FIFTY SHADES, THE GUY INSIDE SAID I COULDNT GET MY TREATMENT AS THE COMPANY SHUT DOWN. BLOODY FRAUD SPOKE TO TRADING STANDARDS WHO GAVE ME THE NUMBER TO INSOLVENCY TO CHECK IF COMPANY HAS DISSOLVED, AS IT HAS THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO. BLOODY CROOKS RAN OF WITH MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND MESSED MY FACE DUE TO INCOMPLETE TREATMENT

I had purchased a course of laser treatments at the Fulham store. Half way through my treatments the therapist left the company. The therapist had told me she was leaving early in my course, so I assumed the company would have had another therapist to take her place. Instead I had to chase the company over two months; initially I was advised they were looking high and low for a replacement, however later discovered this was never the case and that the store was closing down.

I booked an appointment at the Uxbridge branch even though this is an hour out of my way. I thought I was attending the store for a one off appointment, while they were looking to staff their Fulham branch. Whilst on route to the store I recieved a call to advise me my appointment had been cancelled as the therapist had called in sick. I was also sick that day, however the company has a policy that you will lose your money unless you advise them of cancellation 24hours before hand, so I had made the effort to attend. My appointment was at mid-day, so I should have been contaced first thing in the morning to save me the travel time and inconvenience. I was offered no compensation by the caller, and during this call I pressed for an answer of the situation at the Fulham branch, I was reluctantly told the store was closing down!! I immediately asked to speak to the manager for a refund on the rest of my treatments. I was told the manager would be in touch with me the next day, two weeks on and still no call back.

I appreciate there can be a few hiccups with any company, however the customer service and communication from this company has been very poor. Every time I call, I am promised a call back, which as yet has not happened. I am very fustrated as they are still holding onto my money. I have read another similar review where a lady has been refused a refund, so I am not holding my breathe for this to happen.

I STONGLY RECOMMEND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They have no loyality to their customers.

i have had exactly the same experience as Mellybee. was wondering if you have had any further luck regarding a refund? I cant even get the Uxbridge branch to answer the hone. have they closed down??

MY WORST EXPERIENCE AT A HAIR SALON .I am taking the time to write this detailed review because I really did have a very upsetting experience at Human Hair and Beauty.I had a Brazilian Smoothing treatment but unfortunately not enough of the product was put evenly through my hair (as I have quite thick hair).In fact, I went to Rush for a haircut a week after the treatment (before adding ANY shampoo) and Adam (the hairdresser there ) told me I should complain as there was cleary not enough product at the back resulting in plenty of frizz..I went back to Human and began to explain but the girl there (very friendly, called Tahlia) interrupted me to say, oh yes don't worry, I can see from here that there is frizz at the back. She told me there would not be a problem and that I could book in to re-do it.When I went for my appointment earlier today, the owner 'PHILIP JOSEPH' proceeded to what I can only describe as tricking and intimidating me to PAY HIM MORE MONEY.I will list the numerous ways he tried this:1) He tried to imply that it was my own fault since I had not used sulphate free shampoo, he repeated this about 10 times even though I told him that I had only used the Nanokeratin shampoo from Rush, (since I had told them to use sulphate free).Incidently, when I asked Rush, they told me that even if they had used sulphate, it would not get frizzy after 1 wash but would gradually fade after several washes.2) He then tried to say that it was his 'company policy' to buy only his products with the treatment...this was the first I had heard of this but in any case I had already told the boy who did my treatment that I had brought sulphate-free products over the internet and would it be ok to use that. He was a nice guy & he agreed that is often cheaper to buy online. 3) He then told me that I had passed the deadline to have the treatment but in fact I had asked Tahlia if it would be ok to have the treatment a few days after the two weeks since I wanted to get over my cold. She said yes that was no problem.4) after 10 mins (/less) when he realised I was standing my ground, he told me that he had NO TIME to see me and that in fact the appointment was not for a re-do but to 'talk to me'.He asked me to leave but then I went to ask Tahlia because I think she would have been truthful. But he said she was busy so I stayed to wait, he then told a member of staff to CALL THE POLICE, but again I would not be bullied or intimidated and I said ok call them.He decided to then call security, I explained to them and they said 'we can both see you are in the right' and advise you to go directly to the police. The security also suggested I speak to consumer rights groups.The police said that I could take it up with the small claims court.I told him I didn't care so much about the cost, more that I didn't think it was fair that someone could just treat you like that. (I did get a bit tearful).He told me I could write bad reviews which is exactly what I am doing here....I leave the rest to karma.I would like to add that apart from the owner Philip Joseph, the rest of the staff were all friendly and treated me well.P.S. I don't think anyone should be forced to buy expensive salon products so always confirm this before your treatment.

last month i came to the uxbridge branch on the 50% off colour tuesdays me and my friend both had a drastic change done to our hair with both cutting and colouring..the stylists was very friendly and understood exactly what we was telling them, we was also offered a cup of tea witch was nice! everyone loved my hair and im verry pleased with it myself i will be defo coming back to visit human group at uxbridge as fullham is to far travel for me. :)

amazing salon i must say. been to the fulham branch and decided to have a change and see if the uxbridge branch is any good, and i was very surprised the staff are so welcoming and I felt very comfortable as i'm very nervous when getting my hair done. My colour came out how i wanted it and looked beautifull.

Thanks for a nice visit human hair and beauty ;-)
