Definitely excellent value and would definitely go back because the food was delicious, the staff were exceptionally good, the room and facilities were good. It's a small spa but otherwise everything was very good. There was a staff sickness which meant it was difficult to prebook treatments so only got the 25 minute massage as part of the spa package, and we shared a room for both our treatments.

My friend & I booked this break as a treat for our 40th birthdays. We couldn't fault any aspect of the weekend. The hotel was lovely, the spa facilities and treatments were great, the restaurant and food were lovely too. The service was always spot on and I can't believe what good value the break was! We will definitely be returning.

Went for a relaxing spa weekend with three friends and it was fantastic! The staff were superfriendly and attentive when my friend I decided to upgrade rooms and they let us upgrade at no extra cost! Facilities were a bit on the small side (the gym isn't massive, neither is the jacuzzi) but everything was clean. Additionally, drinks were a bit pricier than I'm used to and at £8 for a sandwich and chips at lunch I had to watch my money carefully! Service was also sometimes slow as the bar tended to be understaffed but they did try to be attentive. Overall however it was a fantastic stay and I'd definitely stay here again!

Accomodation was nice. Pool was quite busy with children which wasnt very relaxing.
Spa treatment (massage) was great and spa staff were very professional.
We were hugely disappointed to find out when we arrived that our 3 course dinner was changed to a buffet and the food wasnt the best quality, it was something you would order from a take out.
Buffet breakfast in the morning was great, as was 12pm checkout but dinner let the experience down

The booking process with Wahanda couldn't have been simpler and I thought the price of the break was really quite reasonable considering it included 1 evening meal, 2 breakfasts and a couples 1/2 hour massage.

The hotel was clean and the (deluxe) room was well appointed, all the usual facilities in room that you'd expect (iron, hairdryer, kettle, TV, wifi etc.)

The gym, pool and Spa were clean, additional treatments in the Spa were also quite reasonably priced, the gym was fairly well equipped but the ceiling was pretty low so some exercises were a little restricted! The couples massage we booked as our inclusive treatment was really good

Now the down side, not sure why they made us wait for a breakfast table when they have a perfectly useable area for taking breakfast in the bar (actually a large, airy conservatory) which we went allowed to use, not sure why, if we were happy to sit in there why not let us? The food was pretty average as hotels go.

Final, big minus for the hotel, the cost of drinks was unbelievable, £9.70 for a large glass of wine, cheaper to buy a bottle (but only by a couple of pounds!) and the wait for the high tea to be prepared was way too long, for £16.00 a head I'd expect more than 3 "sandwiches" (i.e. 1 triangle = a sandwich!), 4 slivers of cake and a couple of scones!

We booked the Afternoon Tea Pamper Spa Break, and it was definitely worth the value! The hotel itself is a little dated and perhaps needs some modernising in some parts, but the staff were very helpful and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The food was amazing! Afternoon Tea was spot on, and dinner was perfect (probably just as good as the expensive restaurants in London!). The massage which was included in the package was really good and our therapist was really nice and friendly. In terms of spa facilities, they were fairly limited and quite small, but still a good experience overall.

Another great stay at this Hilton hotel, that looks more like a leisure hotel than your your business hotel you would get from this chain hotel.
Has a beautiful garden at the back and is very relaxing to sit having afternoon tea in the conservatory. Spa facilities are good, pool (very warm), jacuzzi (even Warmer).
Had dinner and breakfast as part of package and 25 min massage, all were great.

The staff were exceptionally polite here.
Lovely room, was over impressed with that.
Spa was average.
Jacuzzi was a bit old and not very powerful.
Still all VERY clean.

The only let down was our treatment. Paid for 25mins and I think the girls started to get bored as there was no way it lasted that long! It was cut short which left me less than impressed and was a great shame. After making the appointment over the phone and filling out the paperwork the lady was under observant to still get my name wrong!

Not a great deal to do at the hotel but it was more than we expected and without a doubt I would DEFINATELY stay here again! Would just go elsewhere for my treatment.

Great hotel and great price. Although found the pool facilities was very busy with children which wasn't as relaxing as id hoped it would be after a spa treatment - also had to fight for a lounger as there wasn't many around pool. All in all a bargain compared to similar packages and not disappointing - would definately re visit.

The spa was pretty disappointing it's not really a spa retreat more like a hotel with a small gym and pool and a couple of treatment rooms. The spa staff didn't make us feel very welcome and got the impression they were all very inexperienced, we felt like we were in the way, we had to ask twice for robes!! The massage however was really good could have done with it being a little longer! Hotel lobby and bar was stunning however room was pretty shabby and bathroom was grotty!! All the bar/ waiting on/ main reception staff staff were very efficient and extreamly helpfull!!
