Hilton standard is always great in general.
Afternoon tea was disappointment for me because was not clotted cream for the scones , they run out and the nibbles were just OK.
The room was perfectly clean, lovely furniture, romantic atmosphere, comfortable mattress.
Dinner was a huge selection of dishes from the buffet as was Breakfast nicely cooked, all very tasty.
Unfortunately we were not aware until the night before of our break of the early booking for the treatment so we had to miss it because everything was fully booked. ( that meant to be the highlight of the break, we both were so looking for it.
After all was a nice break for my husband and I.

Excellent Value and Service! That was the third Hilton hotel my husband and i had been staying in six months ; and so far, Hilton hasn't let us down!
The hotel had been refurbuished earlier this year, so it was very english looking externally but rather modern inside (hotel rooms and room facilities)--just the way we liked it, clean and trendy! Gym and the swimming pool were not big enough so if you want a serious work out, it might be best to go either late at night or early in the morning as it looked quite packed just with a few people, and mind you, the sanua could bearly fitted in 2-3 people! We had facial as our choice of treatment, even it was only 30mins, we felt the treatment was very thorough. Restaruant services were excellent, food was good , we had the choice of the buffet or a la carte two course meal which we thought it might be easier and went for the buffet...Mistake! as the choices in the buffet werent that much, we ended up didnt eat much at all. However, to us, it was only a small thing!
Again, Excellent value, 5 star services and Highly Recommend this hotel, needless to say, we would like to visit this hotel again soon.

Great experience and good value for money. Massage was relaxing but no benefit from it. Food was excellent and staff friendly.

The stay was most enjoyable. The staff were friendly and inviting and the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend, and look forward to my next visit.

Just OK - good value for money, but don't expect a proper spa environment - seems popular with families, so lots of kids about

Did an overnight spa break for a friends birthday - tried to contact the hotel regarding rooms but no one would ever pick up. Receptionist on check in was rude and dismissive, our group was split onto different floors, with one room being really nice (club) and the standard was really horrible - water stains all over the ceilings.
Treatments was OK, nothing exceptional. Pool and steam room was dirty, loads of kids dive bombing in the pool.
Food again was OK, none of us finished our main as either over or under cooked.
Staff overall were lovely (apart from the check in receptionist) - the spa ladies were really chatty and friendly.
It was worth the money we paid, but we knew not to expect too much.

The hotel was lovely as was the spa area and in all we really enjoyed our stay. The biggest disappointment was the massage. I am a therapist myself and know a good massage when I receive one. I felt that the lady who treated me was reasonable but when I said she could go harder on pressure she never changed. I also felt that the treatment on offer was misleading. It read; NECK, BACK AND SHOULDER MASSAGE, she never even touched my neck. My sister and I both felt the same about the treatments we received, but hers was worse. Unfortunately I believe that the therapists that are used are very newly trainned or still in trainning. When we explained our disappointment to the lady on the desk after our treatment she apologised but then continued to charge us the extra £10 each for the (additional) hot stones massage. We felt she could have offered us a discount under the circumstances.

The hotel grounds were lovely and well kept, staff were all very helpful particularly the guy at the bar who I believe was new and called Peter (?) Dinner was good value and plentyful. We were both pleased to see Costa coffee available too.

So even with the moans I would recommend it to anyone as it was good value but just don't expect too much from the massage therapists.

This was a gift for my best friend's 30th. We were lucky enough to be given a newly refurbished room which was immaculate and contained 2 double beds (we had a twin). The majority of the staff were very smiley and helpful and the treatments were great. The food in the restaurant was excellent and we are foodies so can be hard to please! Thoroughly recommend this experience.

Having been on this deal before I had high expectations infortunately on this visit they were not met. Certain members of staff were unhelpful especially when we asked for some water as none was left in our room. My facial was the worst I have ever had felt like was in a car wash! The food was of a very high standard though we nearly didn't get pudding as was being cleared away before we had got any. Very mixed stay.

Amazing value, lovely location, good food. Not a 5-star hotel but a good solid low 4-star ... can you give 3.9 stars, do you think?! It's huge, quite busy and there are loads of big group bookings in the weekends, it would seem ... 50th birthdays and hens weekends and the like ... so the hotel was buzzing and interesting and fun. One caution ... don't leave your spa treatments to chance ... book well in advance and don't be late ... they are super-busy and will reduce your treatment time by however many minutes you're late as they seem to be fully-booked all the time! It's totally fair enough, this isn't a complaint, more just a watch-out.

My partner and I bought the one night spa break package and it was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and everything was set up for our stay. The spa is just what was needed and the massage was amazing. It was really nice that my partner and I could be in the same room for our massages. The only negative I would say, is that you dont get much choice on the menu for the inclusive 2 course meal. But other than this, it was perfect stay!
