Didn't get what I paid for. No treatments available. No tennis court. Very small swimming pool. No loungers to relax. No working jacuzzi. Overall not happy!

Overall experience was ok, probably worst hotel we've ever been to - massage didn't even last 20 minutes but the food was ok.

So glad this was a cheap break. This had a no cancel policy but I had to book the package before I could book the treatments directly with the hotel and guess what only 2 times available one 2 hours before we could check in and one at dinner time. I contacted hotel/spa and no help at all. Luckily Amy works at Wahanda and finally found a suitable time for us. I also emailed the hotel to ask about the complimentary room upgrade that is advertised. I am still waiting for reply even though our stay was last week. Oh the room we were given was the most disgusting one I had ever stayed in. On arrival the window had been left open even though it was freezing outside soon found out why the room absolutely stank. It was musty and horrible even the sheets and pillows smelt. Why didn't I complain at the time? Because I had come away for my wedding anniversary to relax and chill out and not get stressed out complaining, that is what this is for. Lastly on checking out the nice apprentice receptionist told me I had £40 extra to pay I asked what it was for and was told it was "something" in the restaurant, normally I receive an itemised bill before being asked to pay anything but not here when she eventually passed me a receipt (after I had paid) it still didn't say what it was for. This will be my last stay at a Hilton and last booking through last minute as only having 2 times available after I have booked is crazy and oversell as I could still have booked the same package even though I had booked the last 2 available spa treatments and told that website hadn't been updated by Hilton. But there is no refund guys so you have to update it

This Hilton does not live up to expectations. The bathroom constantly smelt of damp. The staff are thoroughly disorganised and took an extremely long time to serve food at the bar area and also got drinks orders wrong. Spa treatments were good, but this was a Birthday present for girlfriend and I have limited experience of SPA's so they might have been average. There was also a disconnect between the hotel and Wahanda as they were offering a free upgrade in December (Wahanda mentioned this) but the hotel did not seem to be aware of it. Wahanda is a useful tool but probably doesn't contain the tip top hotels.

We advised the hotel that it was our anniversary and on doing so every member of staff managed to congratulate us, specially reception and during dinner at the Mediterranean grill which we found it was a nice touch. We will definitely be re-booking in the near future.

An excellent hotel for a weekend away. The staff were very polite and professional, especially Paul the receptionist. Highly recommend the hot stone massage.

We arrived at the hotel just after 1500 and were simply told that our room was not ready and we could wait at the bar, we weren't offered the use of any other facilities or any complimentary drinks as an apology. The receptionist also mentioned that the rooms were not ready because it was close to check-in time, however the check-in time is 1400 and I would expect a Hilton hotel to have rooms ready for the designated time of checking in new guests on a Saturday afternoon. Whilst waiting in the queue we overheard one guest stating that his room wasn't cleaned and another saying that his card wasn't opening his room door for the third time. We went back to reception later to ask if we could leave our bags there and use the LivingWell facilities, whilst there we overheard the same receptionist that we spoke to earlier offering another couple some complimentary drinks vouchers for the bar as their room wasn't ready. We then asked for the same treatment ourselves (which were granted to us after asking), as we had been waiting longer and were offered no such complimentary vouchers.

After using the Livingwell facilities we returned to reception and were greeted by another receptionist (I think his name was Fraser) who was very professional and friendly, he apologised about the wait and told us all about the facilities that the hotel offered, his manner was what we would have expected from the start.

During dinner that evening we had a set menu as our stay was part of a Wahanda spa weekend package. The food was excellent and following dessert we fancied ordering a couple of coffees. For approx. 30 minutes we sat at our table with our empty plates in front of us, nobody cleared them away or offered us a coffee menu. We then asked a waitress clearing a nearby table if we could order some coffee, she clearly could not understand English very well and 15 minutes later returned to us with a single filter coffee, when we told her we were interested in ordering two liqueur coffees she disappeared again looking confused and eventually (another 5/10 minutes later) another member of staff arrived to tell us that we could order one of three options, we were not presented with a menu and were not told the prices. At this point our plates were still in front of us so we moved them to the empty table beside us and suddenly they were cleared away. After waiting another 15 minutes we decided to leave, whilst paying our bill we asked that the liqueur coffees were removed as we hadn't yet received them and the gentleman offered us the drinks complimentary as he had just been informed they were only just being made. I can understand things being slow when the restaurant is extremely busy, however there were only a handful of other diners and from what I could see there were 4-5 members of waiting staff.

On check-out we asked a receptionist if it was possible for us to walk into Cobham as we were told there was a 45 minute wait for a taxi. The receptionist told us it was a 20 minute walk (google maps suggested it was 40 minutes), however it was along the road and was not the “most pleasant”. Walking alongside the road was difficult with our bag as the pavement was uneven at first, then non-existent, being replaced by a grass bank. Eventually we reached a point where there was only 1 foot of grass with a metal fence on one side and the heavy A245 traffic on the other. We then had to turn around and go back to the hotel. When we mentioned to another receptionist that they should not recommend that walking route as it is dangerous he simply stated that "most of us have never walked that route as we drive into work". If that is the case then they should NOT be recommending it to guests, it is dangerous! We then asked for another taxi and the receptionist must have ordered it with someone else's room number as another group of guests took the first taxi turning up and we were left waiting another hour. The same driver that picked up the other guests returned to take us and told me that he shouldn't have been picking them up as he was told the guests he was picking up wanted to go to Cobham but the guests he picked up were going elsewhere. Whoever the taxi was meant for, there was obviously a mistake made by the receptionist that cost us another hour of our weekend.

The facilities at the hotel were great and there were a few members of staff that were very good, however the overall experience was ruined by the majority of the other members of staff.
