i thought overall it was an ok experience however the hotel is to far out from the centre and if you want to do stuff in the centre not the best hotel to stay at.

I was really disappointed, on the day I was due to arrive at the hotel someone from the ocean spa room called to say that they could not offer us an hour as per arranged, we then tried to reschedule but was told that ocean spa was willing to refund the money, how ever I would need to contact the hotel to ask for a refund - the hotel then advised as as we had booked through wahanda I needed to contact them.
when questioned if Wahanda were to refuse our refund would i lose my money and stay?? the answer to that was 'yes'.

so despite not getting what I wanted from the dulux spa package and overnight stay package, i felt that i was left with no choice but to go

Yes, excellent weekend and wonderful value for money. We booked our treatment to late but the hotel kindly changed it for a free dinner at the hotel

Highly recommended! Being in an executive room meant we could access the executive lounge with internet access, free snacks and drinks (alcoholic drinks from 6-8pm). Wonderfully relaxing back massage and facial. Lovely pool and sauna/jaccuzzi/steam room. Afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast all excellemt quality.

We had the same deal last year and it's well worth it. This time we incorporated the trip into a visit to the NEC.

My friend and I recently stayed at this hotel as part of a spa deal. The offer was amazing; executive room, afternoon tea, dinner with a bottle of wine, a 1 hour spa treatment, breakfast the next day and full access to the health club facilities for £120pp, purchased through last minute. We arrived around 2pm and although check in wasn't until 3pm we were allowed access to the executive lounge. However, when we went to check in at 3 we were told our room wasn't ready and to come back in half an hour. At 4pm the room still wasn't ready. The receptionist in the executive lounge was very helpful and moved us to another room. For an executive room, I wasn't massively impressed. I've stayed in other Hilton hotels with larger standard rooms and in better shape. Half of the lights in our room did not work and the wallpaper needed to be redone. At dinner, although the staff were friendly we had to wait 30 mins for our complimentary bottle of wine as none of the staff knew anything about the package we had paid for. We had a similar problem at afternoon tea. It seemed like a battle to get everything we were entitled to as the only staff who knew anything about the package were the receptionists. The spa treatment was amazing and the staff in the Ocean Room Spa, especially Nikita, were so helpful and efficient. For anybody who plans on booking this package, the 'health club facilities' do not include the gym. Overall, it was an adequate stay but I wouldn't rush back anytime soon for a spa break.

The staff were very nice upon arrival making us feel welcome and telling us where all the facilities etc were. The swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym were imaculate! The restaurant staff are professional and helpful. We had afternoon tea and the woman who served us was very nice and wanted us to try the twinings tea selection and was very happy to go and get the other teas when we wanted to try them. Our room was newly refurbished and was very nice with everything you needed and more. The value for money was excellent!

Definitely recommend the spa break to everyone who wants a relaxing break!
