My treatments - carried out by Charlotte - were extremely relaxing and pleasant. The cream tea, which was part of my package, consisted of a super fresh home made scone, clotted cream, jam and a pot of tea - just the right amount of food.
The lounge was a bit basic, just a few loungers and magazines and on a chilly March morning was quite cold. Thankfully there was an electric blanket on the treatment bed. The venue is quite remote but there are woodland paths so it's possible to go for a walk after treatment.

The location is down a private gated farm road, but close to J2 of M40. The relaxation room has been improved recently and it's great to chill out after your treatment. The mood is not broken, unlike some other salon/spas that exit onto a noisy high street.
It is now my spa of choice.

I have been here twice now and enjoyed very much on both occasions, The location is perfect and close to home saves me trapsing into London or driving out to far ! The warmed scones and hot chocolate after treatment was lovely too !

I was really pleased to have found this spa. I would never have known it was there so thanks Wahanda for introducing it to me as it is so local.

The facial I had was very relaxing which is what I went for. I really loved how the bed was hot!

I can recommend this spa and am going to keep my eye out for another voucher.

Rather out of the way venue, but once found the staff were welcoming and friendly
The facility was clean and the room was perfectly good.the warming blanket on the comfortable treatment couch was a super touch
The massage was not the best I have had, but also not the worst and the friend who I brought along said that her massage was excellent.
We were given a cream tea after the treatment and it was superb.
I would recommend a visit to Hillmotts

Lovely ambience and a great, bubbly therapist. Quality of seaweed wrap was excellent and would definitely book at Himotts again. Pity the treatment could not be longer but not advised. However, the spa itself, setting, length of time and additional head massage really made it a value for money experience. Will be booking again!

As always treatment and venue are great. The cream tea is very overpriced if you were to breakdown costs. I would prefer a more cost effective treatment if I had a choice or if this was an optional add on.

The Peak District venue on the Hillmotts website is NOT like the photos at all. The Hillmotts site shows one large beautiful bedroom and the rest of the rooms are NOT like that AT ALL. The rooms are very very cramped with two single beds in one corner of the room up against the wall. They should spread the beds out. You have to do your own washing up! people were even mopping floors and cleaning the kitchen!! you have to serve your own food like a waitress to 30 other people! all they do is cook the food. It's very budget and basic. You do exercises in a courtyard on mats and the stones prevent you from do the exercises properly and the mats are wet through as they are left outside so this means your hands slip on the matts when you do say a press up so this is dangerous and the stones dig into your hands.

Because of the groupon deal Hillmotts it is oversubscribed. There are so many people doing stretch exercises in the living room, you can't even do the exercises properly as your legs hit the person next to you. You are crammed in like sardines.

The bathroom water has no pressure so it drips out, no one comes round and gives you more toilet roll when you run out, people have to ask, I saw many people having to do that which is very inconvenient as to why they can't just leave more in the bathrooms.

One of the trainers was really good in terms of a nice mix of serious motivation and fun. But the other two had no sense of humour and it wasn't much fun.

I did not even know about the terrible rooms and washing up and serving your own food etc before booking, so in that way, I felt conned.

The countryside is beautiful, and the food was tasty. They should provide tea and coffee because camp members just go off and buy some and everyone shares it anyway so it's a bit tight of them not to provide it.

They should provide a healthy pudding too even just fruit and it would be better to have mineral water or something more than just tap water as an offer to drink.

I didn't like the service from the trainers as much as I have from other bootcamps I've been on.

Also, there is NOTHING to do at night! After 6.30pm it is so boring. At other bootcamps I've been on they do gentle yoga exercises or something, or bring an expert in to give a talk about nutrition or a life coach, here, there is nothing to do. It's so dull.

It's a shame as the exercises the trainers give are really intense, lots of variety in the exercises and you are kept motivated, good, the exercises as a whole were better than other bootcamps I have been to as these were more intense if you could handle it, I liked the fact there is a choice of which class to go to, but all the above lets the whole experience down.

Boot camp.... hmmm... it conjures up images of being screamed and shouted at and told what to do...... being pushed to your limits..... so what was it in reality....

For me it gave me the motivation to want to get fit again, which is precisely why I booked it and it achieved that goal 100%!!!

We had three great trainers, Craig, Doug and Luke, who encouraged us all the way, everything they said was positive and motivational. Whilst they gave us the encouragement it was really upto every individual how much effort they put in, but we were always encouraged to give that little bit more. The time spent there demonstrated to us that we don't have to spend hours in the gym, and opened my eyes to alternative ways of exercising, some of which was tough for me, but I tried it and did enjoy it. You need to be prepared to exercise outside in all weathers and be prepared to get muddy. That's what happens when it rains a lot, and it rained constantly for the first 3 days, but even that wasn't problem. The food tasted lovely, but it took a bot of getting used to the portion sizes, there was nothing wrong with what we were given, it's just that as a society we're used to eating more than we probably need to..... hence my trip to Boot Camp.

The accommodation was basic, I had upgraded to a single occupancy room with en-suite and the room provided everything it needed to. The Dorset location is fairly remote and quiet and set in lovely countryside, and also had the benefit of an indoor swimming pool which we used for pool PT, which is nothing like aqua aerobics...... and added bonuses were a sauna and a hot tub....both of which I used on several occasions.

I came away from my Boot Camp looking and feeling re-energised and eager to get my running shoes back on.... I was and still am buzzing about it.....

Would I do it again..... well of course, and I appear to have roped some of my friends into it to and we're looking at booking for March/April next year!!

Roll on next Boot Camp!!!

Cotswolds 3 day boot camp. Excellent trainers give you the motivation and tools you need to evaluate your fitness regime and what you eat. The genuine passion for training is inspiring and the team are approachable and fun.

I attended the 3 day bootcamp at the Dorset retreat. The staff were very good and the activities were challenging, which I enjoyed. However, the food was absolutely awful, I would not feed it to my dog. There were no hot drinks available only water, no fruit/ juice as it was ' fattening'. I am sorry but after an intense 3 1/2 hours of training I would expect a decent meal a hot drink and a slice of fruit. When I asked if a hot drink would be available, I was told by Luke that I could go to Tesco and buy my own!!

I would NOT recommend this bootcamp to my friends. I do not expect luxury as I am aware it is a military regime, but when the staff sit down to a meal 3 times the size of mine it does grate slightly!

Dorset Boot camp - hardest thing I've ever done but inspiring - coaches Craig, Doug and Luke brilliant - harsh, fun and approachable! Highly recommend. Only slight negative ref venue - pool/ sauna closed after 4pm on Saturdays - JUST when we needed it the most.

I don't know what I was expecting, but I didn't expect to feel so happy and have so much fun whilst feeling so much pain on this 3-day bootcamp! They really put you though your paces, and push you to do more than you realised you could do...but it is so worth it! The trainers Doug, Luke and Craig are briliiant, and use good humour as well as military-style shouting to really get you in the training zone. The scenery on the hikes was amazing, and there were some 'wow life is really amazing' moments that I only would've felt whilst doing the types of activities given on this retreat (won't give them away ;)). You learn about nutrition and get great advice on how exercise and food works in combination to regulate your weight and give you energy etc. Since coming home I have been so motivated to continue going to the gym and I am back to my old exercising self after having slackened off recently. Losing weight was never my goal, but in 3 days I did lose weight which was a bonus, and I toned up amazingly and increased my lung capacity so much so that I really want to keep up running in the gym now to maintain it. There was variety in the sessions and really great stretching ideas to take home; the only criticism is I would have liked more low-intensity options such as yoga and meditation as advertised. But having said that, I feel so proud that I pushed myself (and was pushed with a 'can-do' attitude by the trainers) to go beyond my limits and now I feel so confident that if I can do this 3-day bootcamp I can literally do anything! The rooms were very cute and people were really friendly. Be prepared for getting muddy and wet, but that's half the fun! The massage was amazing too. The trainers really made it though, very passionate about what they do and really want you to get the best out of the experience. Highly recommended and life-changing!!

Having recently been to boot camp with Hillmots at their Cotswold retreat, i have thought of nothing else but returning
Staff at the retreat are incredibly inspiring, and I cannot complement them enough for the amazing care, motivation and encouragement they offered.

As part of the 3 day boot camp I was challenged physically and mentally by all the activities that ran from 7.30 am- until 5pm, as part of a team of 30 others. Each of us although challenged to our maximum were encouraged, supported and motivated through each activity to give our best and achieve the best physical results possible.

I couldn’t help but spend the 3 days smiling and laughing whilst being covered in mud, sweat, rain and grass stains! The sense of achievement was euphoric and the opportunity to meet other like minded souls was a privilege.

The energy and enthusiasm offered by Craig and his Team (Doug and Luke) is enormous. From 7.30 am the team are there to motivate and train you to reach your peak, sharing their professional knowledge and experience in fitness with infectious enthusiasm.

Respectful, polite and attentive the three were in their element advising boot campers in their free time of how to improve further with talks on training and nutrition.

I can’t thank them enough for there hard work, support and infectious enthusiasm which will have a direct impact on many lives I’m sure. It’s so refreshing to meet and see first hand those who adore their work and are completely committed to improving others in such an enthusiastic and selfless manner.
Viva la bootcamp!
