I go to the Notting Hill branch for years and come here whenever in the hood or when Notting Hill is full and I feel I need a hard workout. As others describe this is the best and hardest Pilates in London if you want a group class in a nice ambiance with great staff. Chelsea is bigger and nicer than Notting Hill although I like the more industrial ambiance in Notting Hill a lot. The point I wanted to make is that it is a good workout for boys as well, complementary to endurance workouts and if you increase your weights a bit it becomes a very good muscle training, more intense and less boring than lifting weights!

I did an Extend Barre class on Wednesday morning and my buttocks are still KILLING me on Friday lunchtime ! It was a fantastic class, 6 ladies and one very attentive trainer, using a ball, a mat and a ballet barre, with funky music. The warm up was fast and furious, the main lesson was varied and energetic and put in to use muscles that were previously resting happily, and then we had a nice cool down. The facilities at Heartcore Chelsea are outstanding - it's spacious, stylish, spotless and gorgeous. Other clients are friendly and welcoming, all in all I seem to have booked myself in for another session. In a week.

I have been doing pilates regularly for a couple of years now an this was definitely an effective and fun step up. It helps to have prevous pilates experience so you aren't concentrating and struggling with the machine instead of focussing on moves, also as the teacher isn't very attentive. Otherwise it was great fun for a free try out and ok value if paying full price as it feels more effective than usual pilates

The Lady that was training everyone was nice but not very interactive with me. As I was new i would have expected a little more attention however she was more involved in maintaining exsiting clients which i felt was not very warming. However the venue was great and the work out that I could get through was great I defintiely recommend this form of pilates, but i'll probably either use another instructor or another class somewhere else.
