We enjoyed the who experience, the spa facilities ie changing room etc a little dated, would love a relaxation room to lie in following treatments, as it seemed we here you finished go!!
The communal areas could have been dusted more around the rails by the resturant and the veniation blinds, but on the whole good value for money

The hotel was friendly, food very good and good value. Overall very clean. Good value spa deal. Bar available all day for drinks and eats and liked the comfortable seating area, where you could hide yourself round a corner and read or nod off.

Only negatives are that the time for dinner finished early at 9.30pm and the breakfast also finished early at 9.30am. Also the hotel must have had a better outlook before they dug up the golf course for a housing estate. More instructions on how to get to find you, eg. We found you via our map, but it gave that you could leave by either turning out of the hotel to join the main road. However, it was a guest who said don't turn left as its complicated and also it goes into a dirt track. Could you let guests know this and give them a recommendation as to why it is better to turn right.

The two therapy rooms that I attended had oil spillage on the floor and could be a problem for any persons not steady on their feet. It needs to have a floor that is easy to clean. Please also don't expect your therapists to do this as I don't want to give them more work as they seemed very busy. This should be done by cleaners at the end of every day. There should also be facilities for anyone who is disabled. There are no lifts, my friend has a walking stick and had problems with all the stairs. Possibly make this clear at the time of booking.

Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Lovely Spa treatments, Great value for money with hotel included. Staff were very helpful and friendly and would recommend a visit. I suggest purchasing a Spa Break as the individual treatments are quite pricey but included in the stay with 1 dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea is a good deal.

The treatment itself was lovely, the venue was a little run down and could do with a bit of a facelift in places. Also, it would have been handy to know that you had to bring your own towels and robe rather than find out on the day that we had to pay for them (albeit only £1 for a towel, but £5 to use a robe).

The reception staff and the evening restaurant were lovely but the person behind the bar (I think was the Supervisor as the other staff seemed very intimidated by her) was rude and abrupt. Our lunch took ages to be served which made us late for our treatments. The spa staff were not happy that we were late and had no problem telling us so. My 30 minute massage turned in to a 12 minute disaster. The usual calming music I have experienced at other spas while having a massage was non existent. I had the "pleasure" of listening to Respect by Aretha Franklin, Milkshake by Kelis and Like I Love You by Justin Timberlake during my "massage"!!! What a joke! I was supposed to be having a back, neck and shoulder massage and the "therapist" didn't even touch my neck, let alone massage it. I don't think she really got the idea of relaxation! The spa area was ok apart from the mass of black hair on the floor by the steam room and sauna. The room was nice and clean but it was noisy and you could hear pipes, water etc. and others moving around outside in the corridors. The place could be good if you train the bar supervisor in customer service and teach her to smile and train the spa staff in customer service and how do actually give treatments.

Unassuming hotel from the outside but boy does it show off on the inside! Superb facilities, staff, spa, food, spotless and lovely rooms, tons of hot water for shower. Would definately come back.

We arrived for our anniversary and a chance to relax, which is exactly what we done! We indulged in a 30 minute massage followed by relaxing in the Pool, Sauna and Jacuzzi. I was so delighted with the hospitality and the extra effort the hotel went to just to please its guests. We had no issues whats so ever! We will be returning there at some point and the breakfast was exactly what we needed the next day before travelling back home. Thank you so much for making our weekend relaxing.

The massage was not to my satisfaction and the therapist spoke the whole time so I couldn't relax at all. It's a shame because everything else was lovely,

The only good thing was the attitude and friendliness of Steve the manager who went above and beyond our expectations. Sadly the manager of the beauty salon appeared curt, distracted and berated her staff accusing them of sounding ' like a pack of hyenas' we all could hear as we sat round waiting for our treatment outside the pool area - not for one minute did I feel like I was having a spa experience. The treatment was ruined as the young therapist wouldn't shut up talking about her boyfriend and family. Clearly she was not picking up on the idea of me wanting to relax! The pool was tired, dated and a tad grotty. Staff marched in with their trainers on - kids splashed about in the pool whilst I fished out someone's Elastoplast which floated passed me. I could go on but am trying to put the experience behind me.

Okay for a cheap getaway. Was slightly disappointed that the weather was lovely but there was no where to sit outside other than a bench in the carpark.

Nice spa facility, did not have the luxury feel but as got a good deal through Amazon was ok. We got what we paid for. Did find the number of young and noisy children a bit off putting but it was the school holidays. A few more lounger chairs would have been better as in the morning there did not seem to be enough seats. But on the whole a nice day, facility clean and well maintained. My partner had a massage and said it was good. As part of the deal had afternoon tea which was really good and exceeded my expectations, did complete the day very well. All staff were friendly, helpful and a credit to the business.
