Fabulous experience, had a lovely massage and all staff were very helpful, polite and pleasant. Only negative was the entrance to the spa, had to walk through the restaurant and bar area

An afternoon tea was booked for myself and daughter for her Birthday, which included use of spa. Hotel Receptionist was pleasant, helpful and welcoming, unlike Spa staff on duty at the time, who was disinterested & lacking in customer skills; bad day perhaps? Bottom line, I wouldn't consider joining the Spa after my experience nor would I recommend it to friends.

Had a lovely day at the Hallmark Hotel Spa, Gloucester. For the price I paid for a spa day for two and afternoon tea it simply could not be faulted. From the outside the venue looks quite tired and unimpressive, especially given the amount of construction work in the nearby area, but once inside the Hotel was very smart and clean. The changing rooms are the only let-down being in need of a good refurb, but the gym although small(ish) had everything you need for a decent workout. The pool area is lovely, with space to sit round the edge. The pool is VERY warm so not good for swimming, but lovely for relaxing in. The jacuzzi's were hot and powerful, the sauna and steam rooms were exceptionally hot as they should be. The afternoon tea was also delicious. Highly recommended.

We stayed on a Saturday night, staff were polite and helpful. Rooms are modern and clean, blackout curtains and sound proof. Rooms contain pretty much everything you need and nicely presented Spa was good, very friendly, professional and helpful staff we had massages and was lovely. Went to The Quays for dinner which was a good choice as at breakfast others commented that dinner at hotel was disorganized which turned out the same at breakfast, with food and hot drinks running out and having to wait for a while for them to be replenished. Beds were terrible, we had twin beds and the mattresses were sunken and completely worn out so we woke up with back ache! We couldve done with another massage. Location is ok if you drive or play golf as golf club opposite nothing else near the hotel. Would only return if they update the mattresses everything else was pretty good.

We enjoyed our time at the club and had a great back massage. The staff were very friendly, although the facility could have done with a bit of updating.

The hotel is lovely and the staff are great.
The spa deal is slightly misleading as it's advertised as 25 minute massage but we only received 20 minutes in the end. The masseuse was late to collect us so we received a shortened massage.

Lovely stay. The only thing when I was having the massage room 4. The roof tiles were all broken with damp stains. Not a nice thing to look at when your trying to relax.

We enjoyed a lovely one night stay with an amazing massage!
Although the spa facilities were 'family friendly' it was disappointing as there were lots of families using the spa, swimming pool when we stayed.
Other than this would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing break!

Great staff who were considerate and chatty. Changing rooms looked a bit glum and needed a facelift. Fantastic lunch and the back massage was brilliant.

Great staff, lovely feel. Changing rooms a little tired and in need of some TLC. also you had to go the long way to the spa, past hotel reception as doors from the outside to spa facilities weren't open. seemed a shame as this is quite a long way to get to it. Other than that a lovely day.

Stayed with a friend for a midweek break. I have been here before and it was just as good this time as it was last time. Brilliant value for money. Wouldn't exactly call it a spa, more of a leisure centre as non hotel staying guests can be members there however it has all the facilities as spa would - sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, whirlpool and main pool.
Breakfast was lovely as always. Room was spotless along with all other areas of the hotel! Will definitely be back
