The overall experience was lovely and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole atmosphere and setting of the hotel is beautiful. We were a little disappointed to be on a spa weekend and no robes/slippers/extras were supplied. I think that always adds a little extra indulgence about the experience. The pool and facilities were all lovely although the pool isn't monitored and we unfortunately had some loud guests messing around and jumping/diving in the pool/spa at the same time as us which ruined it slightly. The breakfast was amazing and the cleanliness couldn't be faulted.

Excellent value for money, had a great spa break with friends. Would recommend. Treatments are short but they were only mini treatments and still very good value.

The staff were very welcoming. I enjoyed the whole experience. The facial was very nice although a 'talk through' of the treatments used and a glass of water at the end would have made it even better. I also struggled to get on the couch in the treatment room!! I am not that tall but a step nearby to the couch would be a good idea.
We were treated very well by the staff and would go again.

We only went to use the swimming and spa facilities. It is what I expected being a hotel leisure centre, not much glam but clean and good value for money with the voucher we had. If you want to use the swimming pool primarily then I would call ahead to see when the mother and baby sessions finish as these seem to go on all morning!

The hotel was very nice. A large, clean room with an exceptionally comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast. The Spa, while having all things you need very much has the ambiance of a local gym with these facilities than a "full" spa. A such, the layout and types of facilities could do with some improvement. The weather was such that we were unable to play golf due to the weather but the fantastic staff we able to arrange for us to have a discount to the equivalent value on something else. Overall, a very enjoyable weekend away.

Having had so many superb spa offers I had high hopes for this one and they were sadly dashed. Chaotic reception area, the receptionist took my papers but didn't properly book us in. She just gave us a towel and told us the babies would be in the pool until 11.30, which was really not what I was expecting for a spa day!
Trying to change was a nightmare as there were mothers and babies everywhere, we had to change in the toilets, yuck!
Despite the picture on this website there were no loungers just some very uncomfortable chairs, hardly relaxing! Although there was a water fountain we couldn't find any cups and there were no facilities for ordering drinks. Considering how hot it was in the spa this seems a bit foolish.
The pool was very small although the changing rooms and showers looked beautiful a couple of cubicles would have helped.
Thoroughly disappointed, we didn't stay very long at all. Perhaps if the staff had been more friendly or interested it would have helped. I know it was a cheap deal but it really wasn't worth it. I have never given such a disappointing review of any spa before :-(

Unfortunately we went late and missed the appointment. The lady at the spa reception was kind enough to reschedule our appointment to the next day. We had a spa day pass and had access to all the spa facilities and a massage therapy each. It was clean and we got free towels, but it wasn't exactly five star quality. It was like any other gym. The massage therapy was great however. It was relaxing and soothing.

Lovely afternoon spent enjoying the facilties. Beware though - on Saturdays they do have childrens play classes in the pool which was very noisy and did mean the pool was out of action for an hour. It didnt ruin the day though - highly recommended!

Only problem - their website features a Cream Tea for £10. The restaurant don't know anything about this!
