Lycon wax is my new best friend!
It is a quick and efficient waxing technique. By using the highest quality of wax, the technique scarcely pulls on the skin when it rips out the hair, which makes the entire process practically painless. All waxing shapes from basic bikini to Hollywood are available.
I decided to have a Hollywood wax done. Therapist, Marika started heating the wax and left me to get changed, she checked the temperature of the wax with me, and when I deemed it fine, she started spreading it thickly and directly onto my skin. During each section of the wax, she waited a few minutes then tapped the wax to make sure it was dry, before peeling it off. Once she'd waxed the entire area, she went over her handiwork with a pair of tweezers to make sure she hadn't missed any stray hairs. The whole process took about 45 minutes, including the therapist doing some last minute tweezing to make sure all the shorter hairs were gone.
VERDICT? The wax was fantastic - when the therapist pulled the wax off, it was far less brutal than any other wax I've ever had. It was neat and mess-free with a lovely chocolatey scent - the therapist was careful to remove all remnants of wax, so it's possible to have the treatment at very short notice, and head straight out.
Amazing place, great atmosphere, went for a total pamper day and was not disappointed, had a manicure, hair colour and cut plus facial. All staff members are very professional! I was very pleased with the result and felt really relaxed and welcome, will be back again. Highly recommended! Thank you HH team :)
It's a rather Polish salon...
Orange and dark wood interior quite unusual and not to my liking... you could see some dust and fingerprints at some places... but toilet was clean as well as the room for the cosmetic treatments.. staff was friendly... they offered me tea/coffee/water while I was waiting... I found a printed price list only for hair and body which made me wonder a bit about the real prices of facials etc... Despite all I think I'll probably come back as it's near and I was happy with my beautician :) Thank you HH!
I was impressed with the service, the friendliness and the efficiency, my hair did look great when I left as they styled it for no extra charge and I'll definitely go back
