Our salons in New York, Tokyo and London are constantly creating more services to satisfy the needs of our clients. The owner Hayato was trained at Mr. Ahara's beauty salon in Tokyo Japan at the age of 23. At the age of 25 he left to New York and worked in a Japanese-American salon. At the age of 27 he opened his first salon, the now famous Hayato New York! These days there are appointments coming 6- months ahead of the desired date and we're honored to bring that reputation to London.

The staff were very customer oriented, good service and decent haircut. Shampoo wash and massage were the highlight of the service. Hairdresser was okay but there was definitely a bit of a language barrier (japanese staff) so it may be harder to communicate and make yourself understood if you have something complex in mind.

I had a great hair cut the first time at Hayato. I got lots of big compliments from friends and family, and so I decided to have my second hair cut here. I wanted to cut my hair very short this time (which I hadn't done for eight years) and I really needed to do it somewhere I felt I could trust. The result was great!
AND all the salon staffs are very very friendly and welcoming, and you can expect very good service from everyone.
Highly recommended! I'm loving my short hair!

I absolutely loved my experience at Hayato and have received compliments from all my friends on my new haircut! :-) From the moment you walk into the salon to the moment you leave, the staff have taken care of every detail and really make you feel welcomed. The stylist (Ryosuke) was great at recommending various styles and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I'll be going back in a few weeks and can't recommend this place enough.

A great little salon in central London. I enjoyed the little additions of a shoulder massage and cup of tea. The only complaint I had was that they seemed to be overbooked. I had an appointment for 2 pm, but by the time they began to cut my hair (after the hair wash and shoulder massage), it was after 2:40. The hairdresser was really rushed as there was another appointment after me at 3. That being said, I was happy with the end result.

Excellent. I have had my hair cut at Hayato London for four years and have never been unhappy with the result. The cut is always great, the experience is always pleasant and the staff are great.

have been going to Kenji at Hayato for a year now - and my hair has never looked better. I have fine straight frizzy hair which needed some re-shaping after someone used a razor on it! Kenji managed to sort it out and does a great cut, he manages to get some volume into my flat hair as well as a great shape. The complementary 15min back and sholder massage is fantastic and the second best part of the hair cut. Had a digitalperm done on my first visit but it didnt take - my hair was just too fine. The assistants are always so nice and so gentle - they even put little covers on your ears to stop them getting wet. Highly recommend to anyone for any hair treatment (great colour as well) and dont worry about any communication problems - all the staff speak English and are very good at treating non-Asian hair. Very good location - minutes from Covent Garden or Holborn. Great little touches like leaving little greeting cards on the mirror of your station welcoming you.
