I have recently relocated from London to Manchester, and as they say, you only appreciate what you have until it is gone! I was in desperate need to get my hair cut and so ventured to another salon. Only to be disappointed. No attention to detail...no pampering...no chit-chatting...worse of all, I got a quick and rough hair cut which I paid a lot of money for !! I now travel all the way from Manchester to London to get my hair done. It's WORTH the journey.
Val and Ed at the Hair Colour Clinic are amazing. The service is great as they make sure they dedicate plenty of time per client, and most importantly they listen to what the client wants to have. They are very friendly and definitely value for money even for students like myself. They are very talented with both colour and cut and always pay attention to detail so you end up leaving the salon looking like a model. The only problem is since I started having my hair done with them, I am no longer satisfied with anyone else. They make you feel spoiled which is a great thing.
An appointment at Hair Colour Clinic is an absolute treat! With stylists like Val and Ed, you can never go wrong. Last time I was there Val worked his magic for a total hair makeover. I had blonde mid-length hair, had it for a long time and I wanted a change, but was a bit uncertain about it. Val put me at ease, explained what he proposed to do and assured me it would look great. And it did! Actually great is an understatement! I now have short, copper coloured hair. It’s shiny, looks fantastic, and months after I’m still receiving compliments :) I have also experienced Ed’s Brazilian Keratin Treatment, which solved my problem with some unruly hair waves I was not particularly fond of...done :)

I highly recommend the Hair Clour Clinic. It's so wonderful to be able to discuss your hair with a professional team who actually listen to your needs. So often I have been to salons where I come away thinking "that's not what i asked for"; but not here. Not only do you get the chance to have a proper conversation about your hair and the cut/colour/style you envision, but the the staff are so friendly and the service is top notch. Can also honestly say that the Hair Colouring treatments are excellent - it's been over a month since my last appointment and my hair is still as shiny and vibrant as it was when I walked out of the Hair Colour Clinic! A great treat!
This is an interesting place, - the location is perfect only a few minutes walk from Green Park, so extremeley central - just off Berkley Square. Once In, it is clear you have stepped into something quite up-market, but what is even more surprising is the eclectic group of stylists and clients! I was surprised to see all ages in one place. I was greeted by a young friendly girl at reception, but was still a bit wary that I could see a rather senior clientele. I was given a seat where I was greeted by my stylist for the day, offered coffee together with a mini toblerone chocolate (nice touch!), and after explaining my concerns about never getting the high-lights I want, I was put at ease and the work started.
High-lights in, washed, cut, Blow-dry - and OMG - It was finally there.... the colour and the style I always wanted - I had finally hit the jackpot! - Edgar was wonderful - and I sure will be back. Not a cheap quick-fix - but definitely an investment!.......and through wahanda it surely is a bargain!
