Grayshott Spa

Grayshott Spa is one of the very few true destination spas in the UK – unlike a hotel spa or day spa, your all inclusive stay is aimed at health and wellbeing with therapeutic spa treatments, healthy spa cuisine and full programmes of fitness classes.

With sweeping lawns adjoining 700 acres of National Trust land, a visit to Grayshott Spa offers a world of calmer, healthier living, dedicated to the rejuvenation of both body and mind.

Enjoy, as a day visitor, short break or a longer stay.

Grayshott has spent over 50 years perfecting its holistic approach to natural therapy, relaxation, exercise and nutrition to create a unique, peaceful, stress-busting environment with a world-wide reputation for the quality of its therapies and treatments.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the dress code casual – guests tend to stay in their robes and slippers. Apart from bringing appropriate clothing and footwear to participate in the exercise classes and swimming, guests really only need to pack a toothbrush!

All meals during a stay are included, from dinner on the day of arrival to lunch on the day of departure. Meals consist of a continental buffet and à la carte menu for breakfast. A three course buffet lunch, and a 3 course à la carte menu for dinner.

Whether guests want to address a particular health problem, de-stress, get fit or simply “get away from it all” in a warm, friendly atmosphere, Grayshott has the trusted expertise they need.

Beautiful location and staff were very friendly as well as being professional. The 2 for 1 offer was excellent value for money and would definitely book this again.

Worst place I have ever stayed, a really bad experience and my biggest regret to date. Shabby and depressing and a total let down. Complete rip off and really sickened by it all. The manager and owner are clearly in denial and I honestly find the positive reviews hard to believe. Its like an old peoples home.

Had a Wonderful day. Treated my daughter for her birthday. We both felt very relaxed and chilled after. The food was excellent. Wish the weather had been better for a walk in the grounds, because it looked stunning.

This is one of the worst spas I've ever stayed in to the extent that I left on the first night and drove back to London as I was so hungry & thirsty (seriously!) despite paying £550 for a 2 night stay. The only good thing I could really say is that the grounds of the hotel are beautiful (with deer)
The pools are tatty and grubby, spa facilities limited to one sauna and one steam room, you cannot get a coffee past 5pm, there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, the worst shower I've ever used as it was like a watering can hanging out of the wall, no wifi, no bar serving any spirits, the food so meagre that my starter and main course could not have consisted of more than 6 bites or 200 calories. The whole impression is of trading on past glories and everything is now shabby and has never been modernised properly, just patched up since the 60s. Staff were polite but ultimately little help - the overall impression I got was that the answer to everything is a resounding NO. Highly unsatisfactory - I have visited many spas over the years and how Grayshott have the audacity to charge what they do is little short of day light robbery

This mirrors my experience. If I could rate Grayshott with zero stars, I would. Disgusting amount of money ( mine was £750 fir 2 for 2 nights) for a horrible shabby environment which feels like an old peoples home. My treatments were rescheduled 3 times and then one was cancelled altogether and another timed for an hour past the latest checkout time on my last day. Ludicrous! The indoor pool is a a walk away from the sauna and steam room through communal areas which is embarrassing, and in fact the steam room wasn't working when we were there. Food is not great and service is so rushed that we just didn't feel welcome. I genuinely could not in good conscience recommend to to anyone. I would never ever go back if even for free! Never! Most depressing experience I've had in 20 years.

Wow! Recommend Grayshot Spa to everyone. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff. If you go and you love a massage ask for Tamsin. She is the best!

Beautiful location, well appointed hotel, excellent room, unimposing quality decor. Excellent food.
The treatments were outstanding undertaken by experienced and knowledgeable therapists.
The ambience was quiet and restful and it was very easy to be a ''solo'' visitor.
There is enough of everything including, large well equipped gym, tennis, personal trainers and accompanied walks in the adjoining NT area.

I felt my shoulders drop two inches within a few hours, beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, only issue was a bit of peeling pain in the bathroom - wonderful experience all round

We were fortunate that it was a hot day so we relaxed by the outdoor pool which was lovely although there were a few bugs floating on top and this could have been better by a general sweep of a net every couple of hours. This was minor and did not spoil the enjoyment. Food was delicious (v. healthy though as you'd expect) and as it was a buffet you could help yourself to a much/little as you wanted. I have been there in the evening for a spa and dine experience where it is not buffet style and my husband and I were both a bit peeved at the portion sizes. If you're having a treatment get there early because they definitely finish them bang on time! All in all we had a lovely time in a place that has definitely got more of an exclusive feel than Champneys for example.
