Very calming. I was unsure what to expect but I really did feel relaxed after I came out of the flotation tank. I think it takes a while to relax into it though.

I was expecting something different. I couldn't relax properly so I was moving a lot. When I spoke to the therapist, she said that this was normal and that it takes a few more sessions to get used to the feeling. The venue is clean but the room I had the floatation in had damp stains. The staff were really nice.

I've floated before in the tanks, and didn't really like it. But these floatation rooms are just wonderful. There is enough room to stretch out, and it wasn't claustrophobic at all. I floated on air and slowly felt all my stress just melt away. It was lovely.

Afterwards the shower gel/shampoo smelt gorgeous, the shower was hot and had great pressure. And the rooibus tea in the 'recovery' lounge was delicious.

It would've been nice to be provided with moisterising cream (the salt dried out my skin a bit) - and having to go to a separate room to dry my hair was a little bit of a pain. But overall, it was a fabulous experience, and I'll definitely be going back again.

Thought is was really nice to try something different- worth £10! If you are going to do this, dont have any plans after because you just want to sleep. Really great experience. Cant afford the £45 to go again but would do it again for £10. I went with my mum and she really loved it, she said she would also do it again!

The venue was easy to locate and there is a really useful website with lots of info. Very clean venue with friendly staff - at the moment they are having some renovations done but the flotation suite wasn't affected by this. Took me a while to settle into the flotation experience but once I did it was quite relaxing. Very good value and lovely green tea and biscuits after !

I HAD long wanted to try a floatation experience, and so was delighted to get this great deal with Wahanda as floatations can be pricey. Though the pemises are a little tucked away, on a quaint West London street, the directions were clear and got me there from the station within five minutes. The staff are friendly and warm, and gave ample advice for both first time use and follow up: this was my second visit.
I must admit the second time wasn't quite as mindblowing as the first - there is definitely an element of expectation which has to be let go of, because each floatation really is unique. The floatation area is basically a large bath filled with water and salts and enclosed within a cubicle with a door to allow access. I have tried it with and without lighting, which is operable from within the cubicle, and like no lights best, as this enabled me to 'let go' better. Despite not quite getting that wow feeling of the first time, I still emerged feeling quite relaxed, and will definitely be going back.

This was my first floatation experience and I was relieved to find that it wasn't at all claustrophobic - a worry that had put me off previously. There is lots of space in the tank and easy access to the door and light switch, though I didn't need to use them until the end of my treatment as I managed to relax immediately ! I left feeling rejuvenated and highly recommend this treatment to the stressed out. It was also very good value with the Wahanda deal.

I’m not sure if this experience is for everyone but I loved it. Floatopia is tucked out of the way down a side street off Chiswick High Road. I was warmly welcomed on arrival and the premise was very relaxed. As it was my first time the whole process was explained to me, I had the option of music, I could turn the light on or off and a neck pillow was supplied if I needed it.
After the introduction I was left in the room by myself to shower before I entered the float cabin. The Epsom solution was dense with a slimy feel and I instantly floated. I pulled the door shut, turned off the light, lay down in the solution and relaxed.
I first felt like I was spinning or that I was going to topple over but then got use to the feeling of floating in space. I quickly fell asleep and woke only when the music started to let me know I only had a short time to go.
When I got out of the solution I felt like I was still floating. Everything was provided for the shower so all I had to do was put back on the clothes I arrived in.
After leaving the float room I was encouraged to relax in the relaxation room and was given the choice of either water or Roobis Tea. There was plenty of information around to explain the experience I had in the float room.
I would recommend this for anyone that finds it hard to switch off and just needs an hour to themselves without any stimulus.
I wouldn’t recommend this to people that are claustrophobic.

We decided to try the floating experience since we had read quite a lot about it being good for the body and mind, and I have to say it didn't dissappoint!
Being eager to try this out we arrived slightly early and were greeted by a lovely lady at the reception who talked us through what the experience would be like and also asked us to fill in a contacts form. After this we were taken to our own individual rooms with shower facilities and the floating room. When I lay down it felt like floating on a cloud, and within a few minutes I felt fully relaxed. The water was warm and once the music faded away and I dimmed the lights I may have even dozed off for a few mins.
Afterwards I had a quick shower and joined my husband for a complimentary tea and biscuits. We would definately recommend the experience!

I had never done this before so I was a little nervous. However it was one of the most relaxing things I've done. It was lovely and I'll definitely do it again!

Nice and clean venue with very friendly staff. I quite like the idea of floating as a means of relexation and just having silence for an hour. Very powerful hairdryer unlike the Floatworks in London Bridge and free towels (!). Chiswick is an interesting neighbourhood for those from outside of London.

On a lovely quiet street off Chiswick Highstreet full of cafes, craft shops and little boutiques, I already felt calmer just walking from the bus to Floatopia! I was greeted by a very friendly lady ,who i believe was the owner, and despite being 20 mins early only had to wait 5 mins (time to read the fact and instruction crib sheet) before being shown to the float room. The whole shop and room were very clean and smart. I was given clear instructions about exactly what to do and told to 'have a good float' - a lovely touch. The experience itself was amazing and I could actually feel the stress leaving my body as I floated! I wasn't rushed or hurried out of the room and afterwards was invited to sit in the lovely candle lit lounge with some herbal tea whilst I came back to earth and read up on what i had just experince. The whole experience was relaxing rejuvenating and enlightening - I will be back for another float soon:-)

The therapist was very friendly and provided a lot of information prior to the treatment - both on the phone and upon arrival. The facilities were immaculate and all additional items were provided (sandals/towels/body wash/shampoo/conditioner etc). The treatment was very surreal and it was so great to be able to relax and such a peaceful environment. I came out of the treatment very relaxed and it was great to have time to relax even further in the tranquil gardens out the back and read through the experience in more detail. I would recommend this place to anyone considering it.

This was my first experience at floating so I must admit I was very sceptical before heading along but went in with an open mind. The venue was very easy to find - nicely tucked away off the busy high street and the therapist was very accommodating in allowing my friend and I to bring our bikes inside during the treatment so we had no worries at all while we were relaxing. The facilities were spotless and the therapist talked us through the treatment and left plenty of room for any queries. The experience itself was great and we both came out of the treatment very relaxed (and no longer wanting to bike home!)
I would definitely recommend this as an experience to try.
