eurgh what an awful studio booked 5 sessions on a deal and should have known better! went on a sunday to a hugely overcrowded class. Classess are taught back to back and not cleaned in between so studio is pretty filthy and smelly! woke up the next day feeling very poorly as did my boyfriend who also came to the class.

Shower in mens changing room doesn't work

standard of teaching is not good, I am a beginner and the teacher did not help me at all even when I was obviously struggling

will not be going back, waiting on a refund... looking at previous posts im not holding my breath

Really quite shocked and disappointed by so many factors of this yoga centre. Shower facilities are broken and unappealing, toilets are never stocked with toilet roll, if you have trouble booking online no one can help you with your booking - you have to email and wait at least 24hrs for a reply. The mats are so tight together you have no room to move and are most definitely not cleaned between classes - no one tells you where any cleanser can be found. Truly disgusting and disappointing centre.

Ive been to Fitness on fire for quite few times already and agree to some other people that the yoga I get is definitely not relaxing - I always have to watch if I dont hit someone, etc. First time I went here was last year in early autumn and definitely it wasnt as packed as it gets now....
The changing rooms and cleaning facilities are pretty low key, but the most of yoga teachers are good. I go here because im still the beginner. Once I get 1 level up I will defo move on to the more expensive place to practice yoga. You get here what you pay for.
One more thing - everyone has to sign in for the class upon arrival, however Ive been to 7 out of 8 classes so far but my registry shows that I attended only 3... I feel it's very unfair and not because of the points given for class attendance but just in general - whats the point of signing in then?

I just wanted to express my disappointment towards Fitness on Fire. My work colleague and I attended one class at the Old Street branch and were quite disgusted by the facilities. We've been practising yoga regularly and have never been to such an awful class. The content was minimal, the room was not hot enough to call itself a hot yoga class, the changing room was bitterly cold and dirty and the mats weren't clean. We were the first class in that day and as soon as we left another class entered to use the same mats, where several people weren't using towels. Having been a consistent member at Fierce Grace we decided to trial Fitness on Fire and there is simply no comparison.

I have paid £30 for a month trial and been to one class. I would like to receive my money back in full, or at least only be charged for a drop in class.

If this doesn't happen we will be taking further action, as we believe the premises pose a health risk rather than a health gain!

I attended just one class, though that's an overstatement as I left after just one pose. The facilities are below par - the changing room has no double door so anyone standing in the reception can see into it whenever someone opens the door. Men have to walk through the studio to get to theirs. No soap or toilet paper in the toilets, just three showers for ladies. Then the studio - I have not seen a more uncomfortably packed studio in my life and left because it was ridiculous. I asked for a refund - I got an unfriendly refusal. After emailing again - I received no response. I would not go back there even for a free lesson, let alone as a paying customer. Do not go there! Yoga is for relaxation, not for being treated like cattle.

Great facility at a great price, especially for those trying out yoga for the first time. Christian a is tutor in particular who has been fantastic and his sessions in particular have made me fall in love with yoga. Christian has great passion in his classes, provides detailed descriptions of how to individually get the most out of your class and always emphasises a rest period at the end of the class for relaxation and reflection are a wholly enjoyable experience - highly recommended

I attended the Big Ben Studio on an intro offer & the studio was NOT AT ALL HOT. Very very disappointing!!!! I have been trying to communicate with Anna to get my money back as the service offered is not at all what is been advertised. I am happy to p[ay for the 1 session but will not be going back as it is not hot yoga. Also NO SHOWER FACILITY. I am flexible on transferring membership to a friend who uses Old St for some classes there but no communication from Anna. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!!!!

The Old St studio has many positives, location, the teachers, the staff is friendly. I have attended classes with Jonelle, Miranda, Shay, Daniella and others, most of my classes have been with the above mentioned teachers and have nothing negative to say about them, they are very good. The serious downside of the studio is no doubt the number of students in the classes, I aim to go during the day, classes up to the one at 5pm are ok, BUT from the 6pm onwards it does turn into a complete different story: the studio is way over full, overbooked, there is not even space for the teacher's mat, if you are not strategically positioned you will not see the teacher demonstrating postures, and not only that: you end up not being able to follow the practice and do certain asanas just because you will hit your neighbour or they will hit you, so there you are waiting for the rest of the class to change asana so you can actually join in the practice or doing a forward bend ending up with your head in your neighbour's "derriere"!. If you can only attend the evening slots I would not recommend you join this studio; if you are planning to attend in the mornings or weekends then go ahead. In my case, in terms of continuing coming here: I am thinking it twice just simply due to the amount of people that are allowed to attend the evening classes; it would be a different story if the studio would ensure less people actually attend per class

After providing a GP certificate I was informed that my subscription was suspended until further notice. I am now fit to practice yoga but I was informed that my subscription has expired. Nobody seems to know what to do and Anna from customer service seems unable to help. You basically stole my money! THIEVES!!

I have been attending the Old Street studio, in short: the evening slots are busy and mainly teaching rocket, so if you are looking for a more paced and "old fashion" yoga experience the mid day and morning slots, including weekends are best. there are many slots available whish is a great thing, and they teach even weekends and BH. I missed a more traditional yoga on offer like Hatha, as mainly they offer, at least now, power yoga. Nice studio, nice staff, so far all teachers I have met- have not met all of them- are nice, and with a keen yoga interested, and thinking of continuous training, in fact even the receptionist has a great love for yoga! reception staff and teachers are helpful alike. I have given "ambience" less stars just because I think the classes will gain by being less lit at times, and also with a less "modern/rockish" soundtrack when music is used. Veredict: considering signing up for a monthly membership

I found out about Fulham studio through my friend - a frequent client of Fitness On Fire. I am a totally beginner so I choose very carefully to make sure the studio actually matches my ability. Because of my friend's recommendation I decided to try out. And I was totally amazed by how good the classes are - the teacher is very skilful and patient when explaining the moves. I had a great time stretching my body and free my mind - definitely coming back!

This is my first time ever to a hot yoga class and the experience so far is just wonderful. My English is quite limited and I was far behind other classmates but the teacher was very kind and patient to show me every little move and step. The Fulham studio is nice and cozy, and they provided free mat and small towel. I don't mind the shower since I live nearby

I have been FOF's client for years and I'm absolutely happy with the service provided. Recently they have opened new studio in Fulham, which is more convenient for me since I live nearby. They are still improving the new studio but the quality of the hot yoga class I received is just the same as the Old Street studio. Highly recommended!

Don't understand why people complain since every time I come to Old Street Studio, I was greeted by very helpful receptionist. I booked all my classes online and the teachers are wonderful. They have got great shower room as well. The price is cheap but the service quality is superb

This place is such good value for money, and the price does not reflect the quality of teaching. You don't have to be flexible or a dancer to enjoy these classes- you improve at your own rate and feel great doing it!

This studio is in a good location, the room is a good size and a good ambiance. There are many classes with different teachers so they are quite different styles of yoga and teaching styles.

I have been going to fitness on fire for about a year now and I really love it there, it's close to Old st tube station and it's also great value for money. If you want high end facilities then this is not the place for you there's only 3 showers in each changing room, but at present there are 2 in the men's changing room because 1 of the showers has been broken for about a year now (poor) for all the people who view yoga has a means of loosing weight then I would suggest that you go to ude's classes, his classes are always busy. If you want something a bit closer to the spiritual side of yoga I would suggest Austeja for a fun physical workout/challenging I would say Gabrielle or Victoria, if you want to try out some advanced postures Patrizia is the teacher, my personal favourite is Austeja for me she teaches yoga were it is supposed to come from but that's just a personal thing, overall the teachers are good. In summarising, good location, good venue, not so good facilities, Ambience improving all the time, Teachers great, Value for your pound fantastic! this place is what you make it, you get what you pay for, you can love it or hate it, I choose love... Come on down.
