Wonderful yoga centre with fantastic teachers. A real oasis of calm just off the bustle of South Kensington. I love coming here for the quality of teaching and amazing experience. Value for money on this offer is amazing.

The class for pregnancy yoga is nice and small so it has an intimate environment. Claire is the best but it's a shame that she's been away for some time and the substitute teachers didn't feel the same.

Reiki with Elaine feels like an out of body experience and each time I have seen her I have experienced something different. It feels completely nurturing. During treatment I have felt like I was soaring and felt pulsating, healing waves over my chakras. In the days that follow a session a lot of issues and pent up emotions have come to the surface - there is a feeling of release. Highly recommended

Continued with my 10 classes pack - great as always! What's more amazing is that they got more attentive receptionists now - one more good reason to be there!

I love Yoga... a few years ago I started this practice with my first lesson at Evolve and a regular practice changed my life: I feel more healthy and relaxed, the way I can experience the connection with my soul changed completely and this brang sun in my journey.

I love yoga in general; however kundalini yoga has something quite special about it.
all sorts of interesting and helpful lifestyle tips are available.
Classes are sometimes tough , they vary , and apparently there are plenty of different 'sets' available.
I like the tuning in and out process ; really creates a special feel to the yoga, subtly afferent from hath a yoga.
Teachers great , ambience reasonable - can't complain. Would go more often if closer to me,still thought i would comment.

I signed up for the 30 day trial at Evolve Welness Centre. I have so far only been to one class, but I absolutely loved it. Having read other reviews I wasn't expecting a warm reception, but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the yoga teacher was really patient with me (I am a complete beginner!). I can't wait to go to my next class now!

This centre prides itself on providing a calm, exclusive atmosphere. It is in a lovely building in a quiet mews in South Kensington. It aims to make people feel at home, with tea, water, things like that around the place. It almost feels like a private studio. These are the positive things I have to say about evolve.
Unfortunately, there are negatives. It is expensive. The classes (I've tried quite a few) are nearly all impossibly hard. Unless you practise yoga every day (and of course there are many who do), and/or you go to the same class for weeks and weeks, you will struggle to keep up. I had to leave one class, and I've practised yoga for years, to ask the woman at reception if there was an easier one.
I did find one class and teacher who were great. (By the way, there are no clocks in the studios. I always find them helpful to see how the class is going).
Receptionists. My next point. Really quite rude and patronising. On several occasions. I once came in on a Saturday morning and stood waiting at the reception desk for 25 minutes. The phone didn't stop ringing - no answer machine. Eventually the receptionist returned, munching her breakfast. While standing there, I spotted someone's bank card had just been casually left lying about on the desk for anyone to pick up. I pointed this out to the receptionist, who simply shot me a wintry smile and said "what is it you need?"
In my opinion this place is overpriced and, forgive the phrase, up itself. Despite the good class, I won't be going back.

This was my first time doing yoga and I absolutely loved it. It was a beginners and basics class but I was the only true beginner, the instructor put me totally at ease and helped me enjoy the session. I genuinely couldn't believe when the hour was over - was great and can't wait to do it again.

I experienced a very unhelpful and rude attitude from the receptionists when visiting Evolve in South Kensington. I turned up as a 'drop in' to a fully booked class. Some pre-booked people hadn't arrived, so I asked if I could join on the condition I leave if they came. This suggestion was refused point blank, on the insistence they had to honour their pre-bookings. When I explained this would still be the case, because I would leave if they arrived, they were either unwilling or unable to grasp the point.

I was told I could join if I waited 10 mins, but as this was a kundalini class, missing the first 10 mins was unacceptable because of the 'tuning in' process integral to kundalini yoga practice.

As I left, I said their customer service was lacking and I would be leaving reviews on social media accordingly. At this, the reception retorted 'that's not very yoga is it?!', as if implying that yoga establishments should be exempt from receiving negative reviews based on bad customer service.

The experience was a shame because it is a nice studio in a great location. But at a time when people are watching their spending, I refuse to give my hard-earned cash to a business with so little regard for their customers.

I had a very similar experience to yours. The "that's not very yoga" comment sums up the attitude! Which in itself isn't "yoga," whatever they mean by that!

I attended a meditation workshop/retreat at Evolve recently and I must say the experience was great. I have rubbish sense of direction so when I got lost in South Kensington I called reception and the instructions were perfect so I made it to the venue on time.

The building is in beautiful surroundings within quiet mews and the colour scheme is harmonious and calming. The seminar room where we did the meditation had some quirky murals depicting a kitchen and garden which I thought was original and refreshing.

I was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful facilities and the comprehensive programme of yoga, meditation and alternative therapies.
