I go to this salon regularly and the treatments are always great. I had a package that included a facial, body massage and shellac on my toes. The room was just the right temperature and the products they use smell great. I came out of the salon feeling relaxed. There is plenty of free parking around the salon and treatments always start and finish on time.
I had waxing at this clinic. I was pleased with the results, no hair left. . I would definitely recommend it.
Another great treatment! The salon is lovely and clean and always welcoming. It's really easy to park for free in the side streets. My eyebrows look just as I wanted them to. This is a really great salon.
I treated myself to the package (full body massage, basic facial and shellac nails) yesterday.
I had visited the salon before, so I had no problems finding it and as usual the place was spotless and had a lovely, warm ambiance. My treatments started with the full body massage, which I enjoyed as the therapist asked me about what pressure I like and what areas I have problems with. She focused on my back and head/scalp and I felt really relaxed.
Next I had the facial in the same room with another therapist. This therapist was also lovely and friendly like the previous one and did an amazing job. The only reason why I have not scored the facial very high, is because I currently suffer from hormonal breakouts after having a baby and I really don't find Mary Cohr facials to help much with acne. The cream apllied at the end of the facial is also very shiny and after having extractions done, a red and very shiny face is not a very good look. I do prefer mat creams and ideally lotions as they are lighter for my currently oily/acneic skin. This however in no way reflects the skills of the therapist and of course it was the treatment on offer, so I guess it just was not my cup of tea. If you have normal, dry skin I think that this facial would be ideal.
Next I had my shellac nails done along with a lovely cup of tea and biscuit, which was a nice touch. The nails were good, my only criticism if any is that some parts of my short nails were not painted and therefore regrowth will become apparent quicker, but I can appreciate it is not always easy to paint very short nails. Also there was no buffing, just a basic manicure where cuticles are pushed back and slightly filled. I was happy with the result again because I don't think there was much you could do with the length of my nails, but if I had longer nails I would expect to be asked what shape I liked them filled etc.
Overall a really relaxing day and a good deal, just some treatments not as good for my personal liking, but what an amazing place and staff! So welcoming. I plan to visit many more times.
I had the single lift and peel treatment here yesterday, The therapist and facilities were amazing and she took great care of me, even asking me if I wanted extractions which was a plus as many places don't even bother offering that as an option. As expected from any facial I had some breakouts after, as all impurities come to the surface, but the whole treatment was very relaxing and enjoyable and my skin did look brighter. I liked the place and staff so much I have even booked treatments here for my husband and sister!
