Absolutely brilliant all round.. just make sure you don't trust google maps (or at least give yourself some extra time) as I found myself the other end of the street and had to sprint to my massage...

I experienced a Shiatsu massage from a lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced lady: Maria. She spent time listening to me and accordingly massaged the meridians that would be most beneficial for me. I felt relaxed throughout the process and when I left I walked away feeling calm and equally balanced on both feet; I arrived stiff and left a lot freer and now look forward to being a regular client benefiting from this wonderful treatment!

I went for my first ever 'proper' massage with Katie at Equilibrium and I can honestly say it was the most soothing half an hour I have ever experienced. I was slightly anxious before as I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, but Katie really put me at ease and was really welcoming. The clinic itself is immediately relaxing - soft music, relaxing decor and my massage table was heated - so cosy! My shoulders were particularly knotted but after the massage they felt so much freer. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

I can honestly say that joining Lexy's pregnancy yoga class was one of the best decisions I made during the pregnancy. When I started the class I was frankly terrified of doing anything which might cause me to lose the baby and I was holding my body rigid and keeping myself very protected. Through doing the class I was able to observe how physical pregnant women could be and learned to relax and totally enjoy / embrace my state. I blossomed with a new confidence. The class also involved a certain amount of talking / sharing how we were feeling both physically and emotionally and that was also really helpful as until the NCT classes kicked in towards the final 6 weeks of my pregnancy it was the only forum I had in which to share feelings and ask questions / listen to those asked by others at slightly different stages of pregnancy than me. Finally Lexy often invites in previous class members a few weeks after they have given birth to share their birth experiences and also often involves a doula in those parts of the sessions. It was brilliant to hear how other women had fared with labour and especially how they had coped / adapted when circumstances took them away from their ideal birth plans.

I would thoroughly recommend this class to any pregnant woman, particularly first time mothers-to-be. It might not be traditional yoga, but it embraces many aspects of yoga and combines them with other really useful ante-natal support / preparation aspects, especially breathing, relaxation techniques and helpful positions for labour.

Each time I have been to the centre I have left feeling fantastic with a spring in my step and wanting more!
I have tried a lot of massage over the years and this is the best therapist I have found in a long time. It has really helped with stiffness in my neck and leaves me feeling taller and motivated to maintain the benefits with self-help stretching.
The reflexology I tried was fabulous - wonderful atmosphere and really relaxing.
Also the tai chi course was a great investment. The teacher put us all at ease with a friendly manner and explained the background and benefits of the movements as well as teaching us the form.

My only wish is that I had more momey and could go more often. Rates are reasohnable but are unfortunately are for me a 'luxury'.
