Previously great experience and treatments but recent mini-spa day was a waste of money. Firstly the timetable was not updated online for a bank holiday schedule meaning the class I wanted to go to was cancelled. Secondly, they messed up my treatment booking meaning I missed my treatment altogether. I paid for a mini spa day when I actually only went for a swim (no classes, no treatment). Re-booked the massage and missed the appointment due to last minute plans to be told I couldn't re- book again. I know this was my fault and I am mostly disappointed by the reaction to my feedback by the managers & other staff. Constructive feedback was given with no offer of a refund or acceptance of errors made by staff. I feel ripped off and neglected especially as I have had previously good experiences at the Roko Health Spa. General manager is away and being covered by other staff, the only explanation I can give is that this has resulted in a lackadaisical approach to bookings, customer relations and complaint management.

Amazing treatments and lovely lady. Only downside was spa other side of building so had to walk through reception to pool and sauna/steam room/jacuzzi. Spa did not provide robes so recommend you take one unless you happy to put clothes on straight after treatment. Overall would go again.

Great facial felt really pampered afterwards! Pool was busy but we were aware of this when we booked, would go mid week next time.

A lovely day. This is at a quite busy health club, so lots of members were also at the club, but this didn't bother us. There was plenty of room in the pool and jacuzzi/sauna/steam. The spa was separate and absolutely lovely - I had a back, neck and shoulder massage and it was very professional and enjoyable. We relaxed on the beds in a separate room and read magazines afterwards. We also had lunch in the club cafe which was delicious. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would go again.

I went with my girlfriend and got a spa package including 180 minutes of treatments each. The choice was a bit limited though and we essentially had only one option to combine the available treatments if not interested in manicure or pedicure. I liked the gym and noticed there were classes. However we were not shown around or explained what we could attend, hence we didn't take advantage of the opportunity. The treatments themselves were great for my gf and only OK for me: this is because of the masseuse; the one that my gf had was pretty good and told her loads about the treatment she was receiving, she asked questions about her skin and told her about the best products for her; mine didn't say anything. Moreover I had many better massages, also at a cheaper price. The lunch was good (there was a good choice of food and drinks, including smoothies), although the waiting staff was a bit rude and not very friendly. The rest of the facilities, such as sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were good. The swimming pool was busy for most of the time because of swimming classes. It was overall a relaxing experience but it could have been managed differently by the staff, providing us a clearer overview of what we were entitled to. From my experience I consider the price I paid slightly too much. With a better service though, this could become great value for price.

This was sold as a spa day and actually was access to a sports centre, with a massage and facial. The swimming pool was full of pre schoolers having swimming lessons, nothing wrong with that except its not what you expect on a spa day. Its a great sports centre, with a well equiped gym. If this was sold as day membership of a sports club with spa treatments I would have given a very different rating

Although it was a bit of a walk from the bus stop (would take the car next time) The whole experience was amazing. The massage was well done and I felt absolutely wonderful afterwards. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The Jacuzzi was superb! Would definitely recommend a visit!!

I booked this as a birthday present for my Dad. The lunch was 45 minutes late and he only had a choice of jacket potatoes-very unhealthy for a spa experience. The therapist he was allocated was a young trainee and happened to do ALL his treatments! She was not able to do the deep tissue massage and couldn't manage to cut his toenails for his pedicure. I am extremely disappointed with this package especially as it was an expensive birthday gift that did not have the wow factor.

As the Manager of The Spa I would like to reply to this post and say that firstly none of our therapists are trainees-they all hold an NVQ3 or equivalent and would not be able to gain employment within our company without this qualification. Secondly, we have a wide variety of options on our lunch menu including warm and cold salads, soups, fresh vegetable juices, wraps, mediteranean mezze, and daily specials which in the past have included steak, chilli, curry to name but a few! I thereforehave to disagree with the above review.

First visit to the facility and probably would not return - could receive similar experience for far less elsewhere. I would suggest only those who have no problems spending lavish amount for a basic treatment just because of location of venue, which is lovely and helps to have onsite parking. Busy with many members for a weekday – more staff should be employed to keep the place cleaner though. The whirl pool had a lot of grit floating in and around the pool but worst was the hair strands that kept getting caught in my feet and fingers. The hour and half treatment I purchased ended up being shorter. Massage technique was very good but did not cover front of shoulders and top of arms (bizarre for a full body) and my taster facial made no difference; well for 15 minutes, what to expect? Good locker space and large changing room was a plus but shower was no joy. Enjoyed the fruit smoothie.

I treated myself and my daughter to a pamper day after 3 months of having had her baby.
The treatments were amazing, and i would definately go back, or recommend them to my friends.
Excellent value for money.

Had a fabulous day with my friend, great dance class, nice pool and sauna/steam facilities! The fresh juice bar was a nice surprise, and a great healthy motivation too! It would have been nice to have been supplied with some slippers but apart from that it was a great establishment!

I went there with my boyfriend for a treat. We used the gym which was ok (changing rooms were quite dirty) but the real treat was the massage. My masseuse was polite, friendly and gave me a really good massage, as well as advice in regards to my shoulders. Would definitely come back again if it wasn't so far!

I booked a full body massage for my husband and he said it was really good. He said the therapist applied more/less pressure when he asked and focused on the areas he asked for. Great ambience and pleasant staff.

We will definately be returning.

Loved the spa area - lots of different bubble and jets and sprays in the jacuzzi!
Massage was also very good; just booked for neck shoulder and back but masseuse asked if u would prefer to have half and half with legs too; i said yes and it was wonderful! My friend chose just the back massage and enjoyed it too.
