Beautiful building in the centre of Birmingham but with PARKING right outside! Warm welcome and tranquil waiting area, and comprehensive consultation forms so the therapist knew exactly how to gear the treatment to me personally. The therapist Jennie was absolutely lovely and really put me at my ease. I'd never had a facial before so she explained everything as she went on. A really relaxing treat and I will definitely be back! Thanks!
I'd booked a Wahanda voucher and decided to go for an Intensive Back Treatment massage. Lorraine was my therapist and took time to understand where the pain was and also recommended a skin treatment to get rid of my bobbly arms! The massage was great and it's going to be a monthly treat now! All the staff were very friendly and it's a lovely spa to visit.
I booked this mobdeal, on the terms and conditions it didnt state whether there was a voucher limit of one per person. Just to make sure I emailed the spa to ask whether I could purchase two, I didnt recieve a reply and therefore assumed it would be alright to buy another voucher which i did on the final day of the Mobdeal as I think the offer ran for three days. I then booked in for a facial told the person on the phone that I had a wahanda voucher for the 1 hour dermalogica facial. On the day of the treatment which was a week later I recieved an email from the manager saying that unfortunatley i would not be able to purchase a second voucher and i would need to pay if i wanted the body exfoliation treatment. I emailed the manager back saying this was unfair and unprofessional as I had already purchased the voucher. As I had my treatment on that day I thought I would just discuss it with the manager when I got there. When I got there I was told by the manager that I was booked in for the half hour revive facial which is not what i asked for. After some discussion regarding the vouchers and the wrongly booked treatment the manager agreed to let me use both vouchers and said I could have the half hour facial today and come back for the exfoliation treatment and another half hour facial. The facial was really good and jenny is a great therapist the massage was really good. The spa also looks very nice. I would definately go back and recommend but I think they need to be a bit more organised and specific when advertising offers on wahanda. As the manager said she had told wahanda that it was one voucher per person but it did not say that anywhere on the offer.
The therapist was very nice and I really enjoyed the facial.
It would have been even better if she had explained what what products she was applying and why but it was a lovely, relaxing lunchtime experience. Great value for money with the Wahanda deal!
Excellent Excellent was my dermolical facial The waiting area was calm and relaxing, My therapist was really good and gave me advice about my dry areas. I felt like a star at the end of my time.
