I did not like the salon, it was more like an industrial unit and parking was difficult. It was tricky to find and the salon was very functional, the atmosphere was not what I would expect from a spa.

I went hear today and had such a lovely time. I brought a voucher to treat my mum for her birthday. It was for a facial and massage. As I have just found out I was pregnant I was unable to have the massage so the lady said she would do my nails instead.
I'm really happy with the service thought they were very good and welcoming, I felt like I'd been there lots of times before. My mum really enjoyed it to.

Location is off the beaten track, which meant outside noise was at a minimum. Sophie was excellent - friendly and professional

Been to the Dorking Health and Beauty Centre 3 times now and love my individual eyelash extensions, I will say tho if you are getting them done be prepared to come for infills every 2 to 3 weeks as they become a bit addictive. I couldn't imagine having my normal lashes back so if you are not willing to pay the money to maintain them then it is not for you. The first two times I have visited my time had to be changed by half hour and then an hour. As it was the wrong information of times that Wahanda had. As your bottom lashes have to be tapped down I would recommend asking for a pad to be put under the micro-pore tape to protect your eye as the last time I was there the girl put the micro-pore tape straight on my under eye area and it was extremely painful removing it after the treatment.

We prefer to use micro pore for this treatment whenever possible with clients as it holds your bottom lashes down better than patches. Many women actually prefer the micro pore to the patches as many women experience a stinging with the patches as they heat up but its very individual and each person should make up there own mind about what they prefer. Thank you

The manager explained the parking situation very clearly before our arrival, so this was not problematic. The venue was warm and comfy for the massage, although my daughter reported that she could hear my conversation in the treatment room next to hers quite clearly. My daughter also said that the music seemed to be shared between the two treatment rooms, she felt that if it had been possible to turn the music up she would have felt more open to talk to her beautician.

My first visit to DH&B, but wont be my last. Really pleased with gelish nails with Sophie, the experience felt more personal and polite than some big chains I usually visit and a top quality result. Opening hours and location also really convenient for me so will definitely return.

I originally found the salon through Groupon and I am so pleased I have been having eyelash extensions here since May and would not go anywhere else, I happily travel 11 miles every three to four weeks to have my infills done. The salon and staff are very friendly and welcoming another big factor to why I go back. Leighanne does my eyelashes and I would totally recommend her.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare and had to move it after I had been told I was ok to park, however luckily it was before my treatment started. The salon was not ideal as salons go but the staff and the treatment were really great and I could recommend it to anyone. Just be warned not to be put off by location

We went to Dorking Health and beauty Centre for our first time using a groupon voucher, a group of 4 of us went along and had a wonderful afternoon. All the therapist were very proffessional, the place was lovely and clean and the treatments were wonderful and relaxing. We would definatly recommend to others and go back ourselves.
Thank you to all the girls.

I had bought a groupon for a massage, mani & padi to use the day before going away for some pampering before my holiday. It was a little weird when I went in there, the girl I was booked in with was with someone else so another lady was going to be doing my treatments. I filled out the longest ever form that wanted to know my life story and then the lady started with my pedi. First the water was so hot I couldnt put my feet in (and I have HOT baths) she looked at me like I was mental when I asked for it to be cooler, and said 'some people like it really cold I guess' erm, ok thanks for that! As she did the pedi I asked about the nail art I was going to have (when I booked the appointment the owner had booked me in for longer as I asked if I could pay extra for some nail art) she looked at me blankly and said it wasn't in the diary and she wasn't the nail technician. The girl I was originally booked in with was the nail girl but the owner had taken a walk up earlier for a full set of false eye lashes and the nail girl is the only one who could do it so they had a shuffle around with staff members. This was going well! I told her not to bother doing any nail art on my toes in that case as she was clearly unsure (I had wanted red with white spots). She then moved me over to the table to do my nails, she used the 7 day polish that I had to pay £2 extra for (it came off by Thursday, and this was Tuesday) and said she would have a go at the white spots, honestly I wanted to offer to do it myself as I used to be a nail technician but I didnt really know how to offer. While the lady was putting the spots on the owner came over and asked how I would feel about not having my massage? As the woman doing my nails had taken so long my time (90 mins worth of treatments) was up, she did try to say its cause I was so late (I was 10 mins late and I had called to apologise on the way), and when that didnt work she said it was because I was having nail art that I hadnt booked for, to which I then relayed the conversation I had WITH THE OWNER when I booked the appointment! I said that I wasn't happy about it but she didnt really say anything and went away again?! Here comes the really pathetic bit... I started to cry. I think I hid it, I was so embarrassed! It was because of the massage why I had bought the damn voucher in the first place! I was so looking forward to something to relax me before my trip and this was turning into being more stressful than not being there at all! The lady doing my nails felt really uncomfortable too, she whispered to me that it isnt up to her or she would do it. I had also booked to have an eye brow shape which the owner said I still had time for (well obviously as I was still expecting to pay for that). Tbh I didnt even want the eyebrow shape, I just wanted to get out of there but cause of where it was and being dropped off, I had to wait to be picked up. After she had finished my nails she led me upstairs to to my eyebrows. As my nails were wet I asked her if she would pick up my bag but she said it would be fine where it was, didnt really know what to say to that so I sat upstairs having my brows done for what felt like AGES while my stomach was in knots worrying about my handbag with loads of our holiday money in it just sat downstairs in the main room. I went back down after and picked up my bag, luckily I had text to say my lift was outside by now so I could go right away, I asked what I owed for the brow shape and extra for the nail varnish and she told me not to worry. She did also say if I wanted a massage when I got home to contact her and she would 'do something' for me. What 'something' was I have no idea and absolutely no intention of ever finding out. So I practically ran out of there with my dodgy nails and cried all the way home. I wouldn't return, nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone.
