From the moment you enter Daska Hatton's simply furnished studio, you realise that you have made a good decision. Daska is a highly accomplished exponent of the Alexander Technique who creates an atmosphere of genuine calm and absolute professionalism. She expertly assesses your needs and speaks in clear and simple terms about what she hopes that you can achieve together. She proceeds to treat you with expertise and understanding. I went to Daska with backache and to work on my posture and have made remarkably quick progress in improving both. I highly recommend Daska Hatton.

Whether you visit Daska for a craniosacral session or Alexander lesson, you come away with an enhanced ease of being. There is an air of peace in her studio and, if you present with aches and stresses, Daska's gentle and quiet technique will unravel your pain and calm your nerves; while, in an Alexander lesson, you learn how to direct your thoughts to relinquish bad habits and help yourself use your body more comfortably and efficiently. Whichever discipline, worry and hurt float away and you look on the world look as a better and happier place.

Sessions with Daska have been a wonderful experience that have helped support and relax me during a difficult time in my personal life. The physical release of tension came as a surprise as things continued to move and settle well after leaving. It is incredible that something so gentle and non invasive can have such a deep response.
Daska personal style is respectful and kind. There's not a lot of chat which suits me!

I've been seeing Daska for quite a few years now, first for craniosacral therapy and more recently for a blissful combination of CST and Alexander Technique. The minute I lie down on the treatment table I start to feel better. Daska can untie my knotted back, neck and shoulders without any of the 'no pain no gain' nonsense of other therapies. But a session is about much more than the physical aches and pains. No matter what's going on in my life, I always leave after a treatment feeling optimistic and ready to get on with the next challenge. In other words, sorted in mind AND body. How great is that? Thanks Daska.

I can recommend these brilliant lessons that have proven invaluable for me in coping with an injury, with some interesting and positive effects that I'm still exploring.

I love Craniosacral therapy and have done a few sessions in the past for my depression, anxiety and helping me through chemotherapy.
Daška was a beautiful surprise because her sessions are calm, gentle and relaxing compared to my previous experiences with alternative therapies. I didn’t have any ‘down’ periods after the session thanks to Daška’s intentions in allowing her patients to simply work with what the body/ mind/ soul is ready and willing to work on. No pressure!
Using her key intuitive abilities she is able to connect with the patient’s body and simply allow the body to process or work on what it’s willing and ready to heal. She listens to her patients carefully before the sessions, explains everything clearly and then once you begin the session she allows her hands to go where she instinctively feels they must thanks to years of experience and passion in guiding or supporting others in their personal journeys.
She works with all aspects of the human being and I loved every moment of my session! This isn’t about stories or someone telling you who you were in a past life. It’s a very gentle process and you almost question if anything is happening thanks to Daška’s ability to work peacefully yet thoroughly. There is no pressure, no complications or “magic”; it’s working with energy and someone who is perfectly aligned with her patient’s unconscious needs. It reminds me a lot of my Chi Gung sessions and the importance of gentle work, no pressure and the simplicity of allowing the body to work through blockages etc in its own time. In doing so, the long term benefits are miraculous.
Daška is perfect for someone who is seeking a peaceful understanding of themselves, who is willing to work through any old trauma or emotional bad habits in a calm, patient manner or perhaps for someone who enjoys relaxing very deeply and letting go for the hour! I would recommend seeing Daška a few times to fully relax and allow the body to let go and get grounded. She’s a wonderful, insightful and intriguing person with lots of experience and helpful insights. Above all she is a GREAT listener, not just of one’s language but the entire human being! I think we all need someone who can truly listen to us - not just hear what they think needs fixing...

I always come out feeling loads better than when I walked in. I love the intuitive and interactive way that Daška works with you and that she can sense what you need - will it be the Alexander Technique or would you like some Cranial Therapy today? I like very much the way the treatment can finish with Cranial Therapy, a perfect balance to the session. I am also the type that needs to understand the why and what of the technique and Daška always explains the technique in the context of the skeletal and muscular structure of the body very clearly and thoroughly. I really like this. Also there are no pretences you are told it is a life-time way of moving and sitting and once you have learnt the basic techniques the classes can be spaced as you wish or need.
