I would like to write my experience when I had Soprano hair removal more than a year ago. i booked 6 sessions for hollywood area. the result was good but not satisfactory at all . I had to book another 2 sessions to treat the same area. No difference was shown. So being really fed up and not happy i had to to go for 4 individually paid sessions and still no changes or reduction has been seen. I don't recommend Soprano to anyone .

A PLACE TO AVOID
This is a place to avoid !!!
I bought a laser treatment for a reasonable price but they have cancelled that last 3 appointments. I am still waiting for them to arrange another one as their message said.
They dont care about customers because they keep cancelling appointments, they are really difficult to contact on the phone, receptionist is the rudest person you have ever know, they don't know hot to treat customers and treatment is awfull.
A complete horrendous experience !

Does anybody know if they are still working? I have my appointment in a couple of days and I have been trying to reach them over the phone but they are not answering at all. Should I go to check myself or what?

I have been clinica for my first treatment yesterday, new stuff very warm place. Very clean lovely stuff. Got my laser on my back and it was done very carefully cant wait for my second treatment.

my treatment was shorter than my last one but yes the next appointment they give is after 8 weeks because the hair needs to be fully grown to effect the laser. now they are very helpful because the manager has changed

I've bought 6 sessions for full body Soprano Hair Laser Removal under the offer and paid 250 pounds for that. My first (and the last) appointment was in the end of January, then booked for the end of March as the receptionist told they are fully booked till that time. Two days before my treatment I received the text message spelt completely wrong and so informal that my booking has been cancelled! I realized straight away that something is wrong, however was waiting for one week and then gave them a call (you have to be lucky to contact them!). As I can see now they kept telling the same story about electricity problem to everyone... If you made the payment transaction online, directly or even through Wahanda, try to contact your bank and inquire about refund. If you paid by cash, then I don't think there is a chance to get the money back.

By the way, I am a little bit surprised how Wahanda allow people buy gift vouchers of this clinic if it is 100% scam! I'd love to use this website service with a trust without any worrying.

I agree with all of those commented, i had to wait longer to get a patch test though i was on time, i got an appointment after 8 weeks from patch test on my first appointment they did not perform areas i had agreed when asked they were not able to cross check with my records at all.
I was given a next appointment after 8 weeks but just before the day of my second appointment they cancelled by sending text message saying due to electric problems , I did give them a call after few weeks they did not book me in yet.
Emails are not replied & am not able to get through their phone line.

I do have bitter experience dealing with Clinic A plus Haringey lanes.
After my first appointment while i was due to my next appointment i received an sms saying there were problems due to which they are cancelling my appointment.

After months of chasing & writing emails ,phoning no response at all.

As i did purchase a voucher through Living social i did ask them to refund the amount of voucher they did come back to me saying the merchant has agreed to contact me & schedule an appointment.


As i didn't hear back from them for next 4 weeks , i went in person today as usual the reception & staff were horrible they struggled to find me on there system as they have burried all those customers who come from vouchers.

My efforts were not fruitful as she said they are fully booked until december & i will get a date only then, I asked them to refund the amount Lady at reception started to argue & now i am left in a limbo state for my amount i paid to them.

Clinic A Plus has applied for striking of there name from Companies House.

We have to act quickly , please keep me update how it goes.

I called my bank as i paid the clinic via credit card and my bank said to me that they cannot guarantee me to get my refund back. i don't want to loose my 800 pounds and tried to call the clinic again on saturday to ask if everything is fixed now and first she picked up the phone and she told me that yes everything is fixed. She also confirmed my appointment in 2 weeks. we all ladies have paid a lot for the treatments and believe me not everyone of us will get the money back even if we complain to trading standards or to citizen advice bureau, the clinic might get closed down but our money is gone with the clinic.I know the staff is rude but ignore that and try to get ur treatment and once the whole treatment is over BYE BYE to them no more business with them.

Hi credit card companies are not happy to about having to guarantee any purchase over £100 but under section 75 consumer credit act they are obligated to. You may have to fight with them to get it. If you goole section 75 get alot of good info about it - good luck.

I bought a package of laser hair removal here after reading overwhelmingly positive reviews. After seeing the most recent reviews by others who feel this business is part of a scam and having been here myself, I don't believe the initial reviews were genuine. My experiences with cancelled appointments, rude staff, etc. echo previous reviews. They use powerful top of the line equipment, but in the hands of such unqualified staff, I feel this is not safe. Staff don't appear to be qualified in any way to use them or even explain the treatments and aftercare to customers. There is something shady about this business..if the offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Everybody needs to register their issues with the Citizens Advice Bureau 08454 04 05 06 as they will then contact Harringay Trading Standards. If enough of us are telling CAB / Harringay Trading Standards surely someone has to do something.

Thanks Dally123... Not sure what happened to my review, similar experience to everyone else anyway. CAB advised to write to them but also to talk to my credit card issuer. They took all details and credited my account temporarily for the amount paid to Clinic A Plus; they will try to contact them, if unsuccessful within 45 days the credit will be made permanent. I advise everyone - unless you paid cash - to contact your bank. Let's hit them where it hurts - the pocket - and see what happens!

As far a I know if you paid by credit card for a payment of over £100 they have to reimburse you however if paid by other means the same does not apply. Lesson for future if over £100 for anything use your credit card as get extra insurance.

I paid for a set of treatments in October 2013 and still haven't had them due to electrical faults (whatever) I'm now trying to claim and refund but they have flat out refused, what rights do we have as consumers? Does anyone want to complain to Trading Standards with me?

Why you saying they may have closed the business please - have tried ringing them but just goes to voicemail. Have appointment soon so am concerned what's going on. Wouldn't be surprised they have closed as get the impression they are probably trying to rake in as much money as possible and then plan on going out of business as this is no way a legit business would be run. Definately something not right !!!!

They are open, but it seems decide if and when to carry appointments. I had one set of treatments that were fine, but haven't had one from my second set which I paid for in October 2013!!! I have tried to claim a refund but they are refusing! I will defo contact Trading Standards and Citizens Advice - this is outrageous!

I started going there and it was ok in the beginning and then I decided also to purchase more vouchers as their prices are very good.
About a few months, I went for one of my session, first of all the lady at the reception (Turkish with long hair). She is the one answering the phone, is unbelievably rude!!
They said they couldn’t find my name cause everything is written on papers, I mean what if they lose it or there is fire or something. I said it’s a shame but I am sure it’s today.
The lady raised her voice and told me where is your card? I said I never bring my card, everything is in my phone calendar and I am sure it’s today. I commute for more than an hour to get there but I still stayed calm and said how about I go and bring it. She said you can go and write what ever you like and bring it?!! I could not believe this, she basically called me a liar.
This card means nothing, I use them at a dentist. If you decide to change your booking over the phone, obviously the card doesn’t get updated!!
She told me that are you here to have an argument with me? I said no but how can I prove next time that I had a booking if you say the card can be changed!! She started swearing in Turkish and I understand a bit of Turkish, so I said I know a bit of Turkish and she said I don’t care. Eventually she booked me for 3 months after that date.
So the time came a few weeks ago I went there and no one was there apart from her. She said we cancelled for everyone, that was another 3 hours of commute for me on that day. And I said I didn’t get a text, she said how come you are the only one who didn’t get it. It seems this lady likes to call people liars.
I came out, I called them another time over the phone and asked why the venue is closed, she said I explained already to 100 people and I can’t do it again. This woman is the rudest person I have ever met. It’s very bad for Wahanda to be using this venue.

I agree 100% with you. This is a PLACE TO AVOID completely. They don't care about customers, they are rude in reception, they are really difficult to contact and they keep cancelling appointments. In my case, they have cancelled 3 following appointments and I am still waiting to receive a new appointment.
You can get a treatment for a reasonable price but the service is completely awful because they are not taking care of their customers.

I totally agree. I have been called a liar by the manager who signed my receipt in May to guarantee I would get the treatment I paid for in Oct 2013 - but nothing. I've been trying to get a refund since last year and they keep telling me I've had my sessions. How are they allowed to operate like this? What can we do to get our money back ladies - I will be contacting Trading Standards and Citizens Advice, pls do so too if you haven't already! Mx

They offer a very economic product, but also the worst service ever, they cancel your appointments just half an hour before, or you can just disappear from the reservation book, If you decide get any service on this place, you will need to be very patient because they will play with you.

I went for a patch test and had my first appointment booked for two weeks after because fully booked.

The day of the appointment they refused to carry out the treatment saying my legs were dark and tanned (last time I was exposed to the sun was 6 weeks prior the appointment which I read, is enough time). They rescheduled it for another 8 weeks after - They should have assessed this during the patch test instead of sending me home on the day of the appointment.

I tried to reschedule my 'so awaited' first appointment 2 weeks before because of travel arrangements and they were fully booked for the next 2 months. I decided to keep it. The day of my appointment I received a call saying that it was cancelled due to electrical problems to the machine. After a huge complaint I had it postponed by 45 minutes on the same day. Wasn't the machine broken?

My first treatment lasted 1 exact hour which I found out it is not enough time for legs and buttocks - it should be between 2-2 and a half hrs.

Booking my second appointment I found out they were fully booked for the next two months - The treatment should be done every 4-6 weeks. I managed to have it booked after 6 weeks, they squeezed me in on a bank holiday asking to call to confirm it since the clinic may be closed on the day. (???)
The same day I asked to have my third appointment booked in to have the correct 4-6 weeks between tretaments, answer? 'We cannot do that'. No explanation. - They have no idea on how to manage a diary.

It is now 14 days before my second appointment and I just called to have it confirmed. The line was bad, the woman could not understand what I was trying to say and as a result I had the phone hanged up on me. The phone it's been busy since then.

I only had one treatment for now and I cannot say how efficacious it is. For what I have seen until now it seems the laser really works. However I do not know how to put words together to express the overall experience. And I really just started. It's 5 treatments ahead. What should I be going about this???

Patch test Oct 2013- first appointment Nov which Clinica cancelled approx 1 hr before due because of problem with machine. Had to wait till Feb for next available appointment. Arrived in plenty of time kept waiting 20 mins. Treatment was fine but found out when booking next appointment shoud have been booked in for 45 mins not 30 as not long enough. 2nd appointment due 2nd April got text message on 31st Mar from Clinica appointment has been cancelled as have electrical issues. ( eading other reviews from numerous sites this is not an uncommon issue for them) Spoke to Receptionist ( recognised her voice from previous visits and she is the woman that seems to be in charge) to discuss why cancelled again and when would I be liable to get another appointment. I then advised I would like a refund has how effective can the treatment be if not in the recommended timescales of up to 8 wks ( this is max no). Got told they have no refund policy and the Manager is in Turkey till 21st April and only he is able to make a decision/policy. Told them I shall be speaking to Trading Standard's as they are not giving me the service I paid good money for. Shall be contacting relevant parties to find out what my legal position is and also waiting to see if Clinica do ring me to book another appointment as they advised in the cancelation text - won't be holding my breath !!!!!

This company is appalling!! Im absolutely outraged at the service I have received. At least they let you know it was cancelled!! I am also looking into contacting Trading Standards. Please post back if you have any luck getting your money back! d!

I am completely in the same position where I will be seeing what I can do from legal perspective. On reading the older reviews on this website which appear to be quite positive, I can only put that down to them writing the reviews themselves, or bribing customers or family members to write them, nobody could possibly have a good experience with this place! After travelling for hours I saw the clinic shut without any call or text to inform me of my cancelled appointment, the receptionist lady who answered from wherever she was then shouted at me and hung up, taking no responsibility. And nothing is followed through - was left standing in that horrible congested road with no explanation - this place NEEDS to be shut down, I will do everything in my power to get this place investigated!

I will be contacting Trading Standards and Citizens Advice as I paid for treatment in Oct 2013 which I have yet to receive and they are refusing to give me a refund. This can't be legal. Hi had my first appointment cancelled back in Nov which they cancelled due to electrical problems - had to wait 8 weeks for another appointment which did happen back in Feb. My second appointment was due in a couple of days and just received text today 31st March that been cancelled due to electrical problems... they appear to have alot of electrical issues ???

The staff are brilliant,the machines are effective,the prices are cheap.I am suprislingly happy with the results I have.I am recommending this to all my friends!

How much did they pay you to write this?
The service is appalling, unless you speak Turkish. If not, your appointments are cancelled due to electrical faults and when you try to claim a refund for treatments paid for in Oct 2013 that you still haven't received, you are called a liar.
The worse service I have ever NOT even received!

I am very pleased with the results of legs. The staff very friendly and helpful and the prices are cheap. Thanks to Seval and Demet! I would be happy to recommend them.

I am around 2 years now costumer of clinic A. I am really happy because I am very dark skin and for first time I have no problems but amazing results with laser. I have done underarms, bikini and full face and the results are amazing.
I paid only 250 for all of this. Now I want to try the LPG. I highly reccomend this place and there is always a very nice smily lady there that can help you with everything , her name is Seval.

It is great value, and a great treatment. It works wonderfully. I highly recommend. It is practically painless, just feels quite hot but not too unpleasant.

I go here to get done laser hair removal and already had 3 sessions and my hair is nearly finished I'm very pleased and for this extremely low price is just great!
