No air con on one of the hottest days of the year but just kept thinking of all the extra colories being burnt! The fan meant it was really difficult to hear but the instructor seemed to compensate for this. Great class, would recommend.

This was my first ever trial and boy was it fun. Had a brilliant teacher who did not care whether you were a great dancer or just a beginner. Her advise was to pace yourself and just HAVE FUN!!! A great group of people to spend one day a week enjoying yourself and losing weight in the process. Would recommend this to anyone who needs to exercise but does not want the rigidity of a gym.

Zumba is the best - fantastic teacher, great atmosphere and a good group of fellow dancers doing their thing on a weekly basis. A great value for money offer and definitely recommendable.

The instructor was great, although the music was a bit loud, we couldn't hear anything she was saying. Zumba is a great workout and lots of fun, once you get over yourself! I was the only male in the class which could have been a little intimidating, but wasn't.

Fantastic fun! We all booked as a group for something different to do and have all loved every minute. The teacher Jenna is fantastic and the Colombo centre, despite being a bit hot (no air-con) has a great atmosphere. Its great that you can also chose different venues each week with this deal.

The Columbo centre is a little shabby, but it really doesn't matter if you're just going for a class. The two teachers I have had for Zumba were great and the class itself is exhausting but hilarious and really good fun.

Zumba at Colombo Centre is very good value for money. The teacher, Jenna, is very energetic and makes you feel as though you want to be as good at Zumba as she is! The changing facilities though could do with a bit of updating!

I booked this for me and my sister and we went to 1 class so far - the music and instructor were good. the sports centre is basic and we didn't get changed there. It was a good work out for the whole hour. We'd go again!

Great zumba class although booking hasn't been straight forward as their is never a response from their email address. The instructor was good and it was a good overall work out.

Having never tried Zumba I thought I'd give it a go with the Wahanda voucher.

I'd say the actual exercise, energy and enthusiasm of the dance teacher are excellent - the sound system is loud enough that you can really let loose and get into the music. I've enjoyed my package of dance and its certainly a good workout.

However, I would say the facilities could be better. We have to wait to go into the studio in a cramped corridor, the changing rooms are small and a little like high school and on my first visit I did intend to shower before I left but decided against it and now just go home a little sweaty on the train. The hall itself is large and so when the teacher shouts (no mic) it is a little echo-ey.

That said, having not experienced it elsewhere I have little comparison - I got the workout I wanted, the facilities could be better.

Overall very good facilities. The changing rooms were a good size and equipped with lockers and shower facilities. The studio had a good size mirror as well which was also good for the zumba class. The class was very enjoyable as the instructor was very experienced. I really enjoyed my class (more so than other zumba classes I had attended before) and I would love to go back. The class time was also quite late which meant that I could attend after work.

A fun class - took classes with tutors Carolina and Jenna. They had different styles but both were excellent. So much so that I signed up to another set of classes after my Wahanda offer expired. City Academy admin also efficient and friendly.

Excellent class, instructor was super friendly and has an infectiously happy aura around her. She seemed to be a very experienced dancer so some of the combinations of dance moves were a bit hard to follow to begin with but with practice will give the follower a sense of achievement more so than simple aerobics! Loads of fun!

Those classes are a really good value for money. It makes such a big difference to a dance once a week with a group of smiley girls. No one tells you off when you do something wrong it is simly fun and makes you feel good both physically and mentally.

I really enjoyed my Zumba lessons with City Academy. The focus was more on having fun rather than forcing yourself to do strenuous exercise. My two instructors were excellent at gauging the experience level of the class and could incorporate some easy routines as well giving us more challenging dance and aerobics moves to get the most from our workout. As you get fitter however, you may find that 60 mins isn't quite enough activity. I would recommend either doing more intense routines for 60 mins for those who want to take it up a notch or else offer classes that last for a little longer, say 1 hour and 20 mins. Overall it was a really good experience and a great introduction to Zumba.
