All wax wasn't quite removed properly meaning that I was really uncomfortable for the rest of the day and my skin became very red and inflamed. I have had waxes for years and this has never happened before. Also, it was slightly untidy.

I had a half leg and bikini wax, it was quick and virtually pain free. Jess was lovely - overall a great experience.

Convenient central London no frills beauty salon (which can be a little hard to find first time round) with efficient and friendly staff- especially Jess.

The best value wax I've had in London and great central location. The staff are friendly and the salon isn't too busy.

Super friendly staff and reasonably pain free experience. Didn't manage to remove eberything though, which I always find a bit annoying. That being said one of the best places I've been to in London.

How a haircut should be done, no mess, no fuss. The stylist was lovely and actually listened to what I wanted, gave advice on what would work and executed the cut faultlessly.
Wish I'd discovered them 20 years ago!

very close to barbican station - less than 100m - but a little bit tucked away in the corner - walk through the tunnel on the right hand side and then once you are in the tunnel you will see and opening on the right hand side - the salon is tucked away in there.

the salon is quiet and the service was great. i would highly recommend. the appearance is clean and bright if a little dated. and i couldn't fault the massage. it was great.

Decent enough treatment. Not somewhere to go for a spa experience, but great location next to tube to pop in for some quick pampering! Staff friendly and good service. Would probably go again

After destroying my beautiful long lashes with Mink Lashes on 3 occassions I decided to give it a go to Lash Perfect offered at this location via a discounted site deal.

I removed my clumped mink lashes some one week earlier and used lash enhancer to make them grow faster in order not to waste any time upon reaching this location located right opposite Barbican tube station.

I booked the appointment some 2 months in advance as I normally do but one week prior to my appointment a receptionist asked me if I want to cancel the appointment which I found strange but then I realised it was just before the Valentine day so probably they wanted to give my appointment to one of their usual customers. As I am a very easy going person but do not like to be messed around (just like any other person) I declined their offer and on the day of the appointment I arrived some 10min earlier. The receptionist was very nice and professional (probably she was the owner) and the facilities are located on the ground floor of this ex-council turned very expensive flats in the City. The premises are not what you call 'top of the range' but I liked they are very professional and welcoming. Do your research before or view the entrance on GoogleStreetView as is very easy to find.

The beautician who did my lashes was a brilliant lady in her mid twenties who despite her young age is very friendly and knowleadgeable. However having had lashes done in max 40min in the past, I wish it did not take some 80min with me stuck on a bed which gave me a minor back problem. The result was brilliant though, my eyes look more open than when using Mink Lashes, or maybe is her technique. My skin did not like though the eye make up remover she used, it was so bad we temporarily thought I might have an allergy. The lashes seem to be taken from a tray, which is not as organised as the people who did my MinkLashes (had them picked from a small finger 'pouch' where the glue was also kept), hence not discovering lashes in my hair or on my face like on this occassion.

These problems averted, I however like what the young beautician did to my eyelashes, I hope they will not get clumpy after 4 weeks the way the MinkLashes got, so I might enjoy them for 6 weeks as they say they should.

I arrived at Cissors Palace greeted by the lovely staff, offered a cup of green tea and made to feel very welcome. The reception is bright and clean. After the usual form filling I was led into the treatment room which was much dimmer, with tea lights and soothing music, and the big plus was they had made sure the room was toasty warm ready for the massage!

The massage itself was lovely, I had the lovely Shweta who was very accommodating - I asked the pressure to be adjusted a couple of times and nothing was too much trouble. After the massage I was told to take my time, it's lovely not to feel rushed at all. A glass of water was waiting for me outside when I was ready.

All in all it was a wonderful experience and I would certainly return. The only (constructive) criticism I have would be to have a rug/mat next to the treatment bed as the tiles were quite cold when stepping off the bed. That is minor and nitpicking of course, as the whole experience was lovely!
