C-Side Spa at Cowley Manor

Cowley Manor is a contemporary-chic country house hotel and spa which sits in the glorious Cotswold countryside surrounded by 55 acres of parkland, woods and meadows.

C-Side, our spa, has two stunning pools: a 17m green slate lined indoor pool, heated all year round, and an elegant outdoor pool, also heated all year round.

In addition, it has four treatment rooms and a separate manicure and pedicure area, enabling the dedicated therapists to offer a full range of indulging and therapeutic treatments, all using Green & Spring products.

C-Side also has a gymnasium (personal training can be arranged at time of booking) and a steam room and sauna.

We had a lovely stay, 4 girls on a weekend away. The spa facilities were lovely as was the garden. The rooms were outstanding, spacious, well appointed and the bathroom in particular was beautifully designed. The food was also excellent and not outrageously priced (as can often be the case with places like this). We had a great weekend - would highly recommend.

I went for a One Night Spa Break and have awarded it 5 stars.

The hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired but the spa is lovely. I had an exfoliation and massage with hot stones and herbal compresses and it was very relaxing. My therapist was a really sweet girl who was friendly and very professional.

The facilities are great, and I highly recommend a winter dip in the heated outdoor pool - freezing until you get in and swim, but then so invigorating. The surroundings are beautiful too, so make sure you go for a walk around the grounds if you have time.

All in all, a good experience - I would definitely go back to the spa for the day, but I probably wouldn't want to stay at the hotel again.

Amazing spa at Cowley Manor with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool (heated - 38 degrees!). We stayed at the Manor but saw that they now offer amazing day packages, 60 or 90 min treatments, with lunch and access to the pools for around £100 which is great value for money compared to a lot of Central London spas.

How were the rooms at the hotel? Was it more traditional or modern in design. Also, were the pools busy with lots of guests, or do the facilities feel more private? Thanks!
