Buffed Nail Salon

Please note that Buffed will be temporarily closed from the 11th of June until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances.

This is a small home-like-feel place completely different to what most of us is used to when we hear the word salon. Cosy, private and super comfortable where you can just sit back and watch Sex and the city on 60inch TV while sipping on tea or coffee and enjoying your treatment.

Excellent friendly service from the nail technician at this salon, and excellent value for money - next time I'm working in the London area, I will definitely book in again for a manicure.

I went for the mani and pedi deal. Firstly it was hard to find the location because you had to go through a mail store and the salon is n the basement area of that shop. At the time i went there was only one nail technician that did everyone, so if you came and there was a prior customer who hadn't finished you had to wait. But the wait was never long because it was based on appointments only.

The place was small however it felt like homey and cosy. There was a series of sex and the city playing in the background which made the time spent there entertaining. In conclusion it was an a nice experience but just as a one off for me.

Hi,
I'm sorry but no one has ever waited for an appointment, as you said everyone has appointment schedule and they also have it in time. Plus if I had walk in clients yes they might need to wait but that's in any salon all over London even with several therapist, I actually go to one myself where I don't book an appointment I just walk in and always have to wait it is normal. But in my place no one has to wait I always keep 1,5 to 2 hours per clients.

Also I don't think my place is one off or ordinary, who offers 60" tv, Nespresso coffee, organic teas and chocolates and powder room corner?

I had the 2 week gel nail treatment. The location is above a shop. It felt like I was in someone's living room. The therapist made my feel right at home. She had a huge TV screen & played 2 episodes of a programme whilst she did my nails. She was very friendly. This was the first time I had gel nails & loved them. I will be sure to go back!

Unusual entry to Buffed but once inside, perfectly fit for purpose.
Nice touches - huge TV if you want to watch or listen to music, great choice of beverages and sweetie treats.
Marie is very friendly and thorough. Luxury manicure and pedicure both great. Especially liked that you can place your whole hand in the paraffin wax rather than it be painted on with a brush.
Have made another appointment already. :-)

The location is through another business however when you get to the therapy room you will be surprisingly impressed. I was able to watch Sex and the City whilst enjoying my pedicure. The only downside was that I enjoyed my treatment so much I brought another voucher the next day however I have just recently been notified that the deal is not on offer and will be receiving a refund.

Oh dear. I really liked Marie and would like to offer some constructive criticism. She has gone to a lot of effort with great premises, nice tea, big TV, chocolates, etc. However her real business is nails and I felt that the choice of polishes was very limited. I have had gel nails before so I know what they should look like and when I got home these did not look right, I think she forgot to put on top coat, anyway something had gone wrong so I contacted her however she was off sick and then she went on holiday so i had to pay to have them removed elsewhere. Not a satisfied customer.

Really lovely woman who does the treatments, felt relaxed, the pedicure wasn't done as advertised i.e. cuticle work, scrub, massage. the manicure was the same as she never took the time for the cuticle work and massage which spoilt the whole experience.

I enjoyed my treatment. The therapist was very nice. I was amazed to see the huge television screen. Overall, I would say, good value for money and will buy the deal again.

Although I was a little dubious as the salon is a small room below a printer shop, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my experience. You have the place to yourself, the therapist was absolutely charming and professional, and you get to watch Sex and the City DVDs on a huge TV while you get your manicure and pedicure. It was so enjoyable that the time passed so quickly, and the results were fantastic. What a gem!

I got the two week gel pedicure. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. I even got to watch an episode of Sex and the City while I was having my pedicure. It looked good and has lasted well.

I thought the offer I bought for Buffed Nail Salon was superb value for money. Really enjoyed my hour and a half with Marie- the big tv and tea and chocolates have already been mentioned but not enough has been said about what a lovely therapist Marie is! Fantastic customer service and a delightful lady to sit and chat to. As for the treatment - her french polish is without a doubt the best I've ever had. Particularly on my nails which lasted very well and was so neat and perfectly finished! I'll definitely go back. Thanks Marie!

The therapist was really lovely and friendly and made me feel very welcome. She even put Sex and the City on a big wide screen which was great to watch whilst I had my treaments. I was really impressed with my treatments and felt very pampered. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the selection of colours. Otherwise I was impressed with my treatment.

This is a great place to get your nails done. Rather an unusual venue as others have mentioned but really cosy and welcoming. You can truly unwind while getting pumpered by Marie, who is extremely welcoming and nice. I particularly enjoyed the ambience and the treatment was excellent too. Most definitely recommended.

Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff. Enjoyed sitting about chatting whilst having my treatments. The only (small) complaint that I have is that it wasn't worth paying extra for the gel nails, as they still chipped. However, nails and toes looked lovely!

Tucked away in the basement, not far from Oxford circus. I went for a manicure and pedicure. The Therapist was warm, friendly and efficient.

The confirmation email was good as was the response to calls and queries.
The pedicure and manicure were excellent as was the polishing and finish. I really enjoyed the wax treatment. The large screen TV kept me entertained and occupied as I enjoyed my tea. The venue décor is quirky. The therapist obviously enjoys what she does.

The venue is unusual, basement of a mail box store and looks a bit like someone's bedroom with a huge TV. The therapist Marie is very warm and welcoming, the treatment I had was pleasant, there was tea/coffee and chocolate on offer, and sex and the city in the background. Very nice experience overall.

Rather an unusual venue - very small and in a basement accessed via a mailstore and with room only for about one customer at a time. Also, with a large TV on one side showng 'Sex in the City' none stop. I was, however, warmly welcomed and was seen straight away as another customer was finishing.

Although I felt the facilities were somewhat limited I fully enjoyed my treatment and, more than a week later, my nails are still in tiptop condition which has not been the case in other places I have visited. I will certainly visit this place again

Entry to the therapy room was a bit like Alice in Wonderland! However good instruction was sent via email as to how to access entrance. Good location (near Oxford Street Tube). The cheerfulness and great personality of the therapist made up somewhat, for the not too great facilities, that is - not what I'd expect. I would go again. The hand treatment was lovely.
