I bought the voucher for eyelash extension in December but didn't get around to use it till recently. I went there with my friend, the staff were clearly unhappy I brought the Wahanda voucher. After a long wait and debate whether this voucher is valid or not (well, I still had another week till the expiratory date!), they reluctantly went ahead with the extension.
I know it is a discounted price of £18 but I didn't know it meant it was going to be done by a trainee. She was so bad, it took her an hour and left me with red eyes with a chunk of eyelashes curled and glued inwards(we eventually had to pull them out) and few spots of black glues stained my cheeks. My lashes are so heavily glued, I couldn't get rid of them even when I went back to Benito bar in London. During the entire time I was there, the staff were having private chatting session amongst themselves in different language which made me feel very uncomfortable.
So far, I have a great experience with Wahanda purchases but I would not recommend this Benito bar in House of Frasers in Birmingham. Seriously, don't chance it!

I agree very much with your comments as I also have experinced simalar issues with trying to use the wahanda vouchers, and also been on the recieving end of the bad service they will fully offer at the benito brow - house of fraser.

Booked my eyelash extension the day before a big Christmas party but an hour before my apppointment, they called to say it was cancelled due to them closing store early (probably snow). Also given advice I could book at another store near to where I lived even thgouh it wasn't on the Wahanda list. Called back in January to book just before I had another party. There were no convenient appointments so I was told to book in the store nearer me even though it wasn't on the Wahanda list so I did and the time suited me better. When I turned up I was advised they did not accept the vouchers but I explained and a call made to head office by the therapist advised they could go ahead. The eyelashes looked fab. However, disaapointingly an hour later, I already had some dangling loose into my eye. it's nearly a week later and most of them have come out of my left eye and it is quite noticeable. I am disappointed considering the were supposed to last up to 2 weeks and I have been so careful to follow the care instructions.
I wouldn't bother going if it wasn't for a special occasion and I don't think I would pay full price for it. I wouldn't expect that the lashes would last 2 weeks. More like 3 days in fairly ok condition. It is nice not having to put on mascara and even without any other make up the lashes help me look "more presentable"! For my first experience in this I was happy with the novelty factor and a little disappointed with the quality. The customer care wasn't brilliant at first but I think they did make every effort to make up for my inconvenience caused by their error. Not bad overall. 6/10

the quality of the treatment - eyebrow threading - was good and I cannot fault that. I do not think it would be worth the full value as there are places in Birmingham City Centre that charge £2.50 (not as nice to be in as House of Fraser though!) and Saks Hair Salon opposite charges only £4. What was disappointing was that I had to repeat that I had already pre paid with the voucher as she tried to charge me. I have to admit that my opinion of the overall visit was marred by the fact that I had booked the Dramatic Eyelash extensions for a special occasion (trip to London for Hubby's birthday) turned up there, and the lady who does the eyelashes had gone home and no one had told me ! I felt that the overall service I received was appalling although having read other reviews most others seem happy. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I feel there is no excuse for not contacting me BEFORE i drove 10 miles in the snow to attend my appointment !

This was an appalling service, particularly given that this browbar is situated in a number of prestigious locations, and a high standard of service is expected in such stores. I went personally to Benitos on Friday 17th December and asked for an appointment to have the dramatic eyelash extensions and this was booked for lunchtime the following Tuesday 21st December. I was asked to pay a £10 deposit. I didn't query this even though I had pre paid with the voucher as I believed it was to secure the appointment. On Tuesday 21st December, having driven 10 miles in quite severe snow, and parked in Birmingham City Centre I was told "sorry the lady has gone home" and how hard she had worked in the last week or so, and that the other staff were "just about to phone me" to tell me. They suggested I go to one of their other bars. They then refused to return my deposit and I was waiting whilst they made various phone calls to see whether I could have my deposit back as I should not have paid a deposit if I had a voucher. I tried to explain that regardless of whether I should or should not have done, I had paid a deposit, I had the receipt for the same, I had pre booked an appointment, used my own time and petrol and parking money to attend it and now not only could I not have the eyelash extensions but I couldn't have my own money back ??? I said regardless of the voucher I had paid a deposit for a service they had been unable to carry out. Eventually I got my deposit back but needless to say I was not the slightest bit impressed. I was told to try the Benitos in Selfridges or Debenhams "they are only a short walk away" which I did although I had been on a very tight schedule that day hence pre booking. I had my eyelashes extended in Benitos in Debenhams. They looked nice for 2 days then started to fall out and I asked the Benitos in House of Fraser Sutton Coldfield if they could do a "repair job" on them and was told that no, i'd have to return to Debenhams. I then offered to pay for a repair job and was told they couldn't fit me in - in spite of there being 3 chairs and only one had a client sitting in there. I went to another browbar who did a repair job in 10 minutes for me charging £10. I won't be spending any more of my money in Benito Brow Bar unfortunately, the service and attitude was appalling.

I called in on the off chance that they'd be able to see me, they were really accommodating and agreed to see me there and then. The service was excellent, the brow shape was what I'd asked for and spot on. The therapist also gave me advice on follow on treatment which was helpful.

I got a Mob Deal for semi permanent lashes for just £18. They lasted 2 weeks and were high impact so perfect for the Christmas parties. The application was fairly quick and painless and the results were brilliant. I would definitely have them applied again. The therapist was friendly and efficient and I would recommend the treatment and location.

The venue was great right in the middle of the city centre surrounded by all the beauty products a girl could wish for, the staff were friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough for you. I would definitely go back again and try some of their other beauty treatments. This deal made the manicure really affordable, however it is a little pricey without the discount but it is a great treat for yourself. The eyebrow threading was also brilliant, but i'm already a loyal customer of this treatment at Marco's main salon, if your looking for a perfectly shaped brow then i can't recommend this treatment highly enough.

I am really pleased with my Shellac Manicure and eyebrow threading. The quality of the treatments was excellent and the value via the Mobdeal was amazing. I did feel rather rushed by the therapist however despite having a booked appointment and turning up early, I think they wanted to go home which was rather unprofessional although I cannot fault their work. I will definitely be returning.
