SOOO unhappy with the cut I got - although the lady who cut my hair was nice enough and easy to talk to I don't think she should have been let loose with the scissors - I asked for some layers in the back and it wasn't done properly, I asked for it to be blow dried straight and she spent a max of 5 minutes rough drying my hair then ran a comb through it and she was done... she purposely left all my ends sticking out so I looked like a cartoon character from the 80s! I asked her to sort this out before I left which thankfully she did.

I just took myself to Razors edge on oxford rd a couple of days after the fail rom bellisimo to get it sorted, the manager sorted it out for me in in 10 minutes and charged me just £10, I will be sticking to get my hair cut from here in future!

Will not return!!

This is my second visit to bellisimo and i must say that they way the staff conducted themselves was nothing but professional . The stylist who coloured my hair did a fantastic job and achieved results Ive never managed to get before anywhere else ! i highly recommend this salon to anyone and regret that i didn't find it sooner.

Really disappointing experience. I have purposely waited a day or two to write this review and I want it to be fair, and didn't want to react in the moment.

When booking the appointment I asked for a 9.00am slot, but was told this was when they opened and was encouraged to take 9.30. I explained I had a train to London and suggested 9.15 – the person on the other end of the phone said this was fine.

So on Friday morning, before heading down to London for the weekend I headed to the appointment. Upon arrival at 9.08 I was told by Jade (the Hairdresser) and Rochelle (the receptionist), that I was too late for the appointment and she couldn't possibly cut my hair. I was a bit confused and pointed out the person on the phone had said 9.15 - they asked for the name of the person on the phone, which I didn't know as I hadn't asked at the time. As I didn't know the name they said there was nothing they could do. It's worth bearing in mind the salon was empty at this point.

Jade the hairdresser, was rude and uncompromising. I asked her if she could skip the conditioning treatment to make it quicker. She was concerned she wouldn't have enough time to cut and finish my hair as I was eight minutes late. I explained I really needed her to do my hair as I was going away for the weekend. I asked if she could cut it, then when her next appointment arrived I could dry it myself. She said she 'couldn't give me her equipment', when I pointed out there was five other hair dryers in the salon, she just said 'they aren't my hairdryers, I can't let you use them'.

When I realized there was no point as she was determined not to honor my appointment, I asked for an appointment on the following Thursday morning. Rochelle and Jade then looked at the diary and spoke amongst themselves, the jist was they deleted a personal booking in the diary for one of the hairdressers and said I could go in then. I pointed out that if the hairdresser had said she couldn't be in the morning then it was likely she wouldn't be in, and I would prefer them not to take it upon themselves to book me in an appointment when the person was clearly unavailable. Their response was 'well, she should be in for nine.'

At this point I couldn't bare anymore. I left, called groupon and got a refund and afterwards cancelled the appointment.

I received no apology from the salon. In summary, I got a very bitchy vibe from the individuals I met, they were childish and unprofessional. I won't be returning.

I can't speak highly enough of this salon. The staff are all so friendly and made me feel extremely welcome. I came away feeling like a million dollars!! I will definitely be a regular from now and I am disappointed that I've never discovered this place before.

No appointment were available althought I paid throught wahanda website. Staff at bellissimo were not really helpful. Said it is not their responsibility.

I really loved my haircut at Bellissimo, Lovely little salon and staff really friendly especially the girl who cut my hair (sorry cant remember her name but she was wearing a black and white playsuit!) She asked me what I wanted and came up with great suggestions as to which bits would and wouldn't suit my face. Really made an effort to chat to me throughout and liked that they didnt try to sell me products. Only thing was I wasn't offered a drink which I thought was a bit odd. Will be going back again though :)

AWFUL took my money and didn't eveb book an appointment!!! Stay away listen to the reviews!!! Complete waste of time getting a taxi to the hairdressers just to get turned away!!

Something similar happened to me. I had bought an amazon voucher, booked an appointment, went there, was ignored for 15 minutes, only to be turned away as no stylist was available for me. They had not called to let me know that they would cancel my appointment. I wasted my time and had an unpleasant experience.

I haven't been allowed to leave a review as my appointment was cancelled by the venue with no warning so apologies for jumping on the back of this...

I booked an appointment for today (12pm on Friday 31st October) via Wahanda for a Hair Cut, Blow Dry and Conditioning Treatment as I am going down to London at 4pm for the weekend. In anticipation of this, I haven’t done much with my hair at all as I was expecting to have it done at 12pm as per my booking.

When I got to the salon I was informed that you had no record of my booking and that you/Wahanda had known about an issue with the online system for 3 weeks. There was no apology made and the member of staff I spoke to said it wasn’t ‘your fault or ours’, but the blame lay with Wahanda. Whilst this may be true, the only option I was offered was a 6pm appointment (too late) and was allowed to walk out of the salon without an apology and feeling very upset. I must point out that no matter where the blame lies, if your organisation goes into partnership with another you are one and the same to a customer. I feel that customer service was pretty poor, especially seeing as I had already made payment for the booking.

I feel extremely upset that nothing was done to try and rectify the situation despite the fact that I explained about my trip to London in less than 4 hours. Even if a customer is using a discount, this shouldn’t mean that they are treated as 2nd class – don’t forget they could well be full-price customers in future!

I thought it only fair to provide feedback – I would hate someone else to have the same experience as I have had today.

I am really unhappy with my hair. I told the stylist what I wanted doing but she just did what she wanted. The layers in my hair have been cut far too short when I asked for one length or long layers as my hair is so thin. It now looks horrible and ratty at the ends. I am going to have to wait months for my hair to grow again before I get it cut properly as it is far too short to fix it at the moment.
I am really upset with my hair I will never be going back to belissimo and making sure I advise my friends with long hair to stay clear.

This is the first review I have written but feel it entirely appropriate to do so given my terrible experience with this unprofessional and diabolical salon. If you are ever thinking about going to Bellisimo, DON'T! they will ruin your hair. My hair stylist Jade was completely unprofessional making bitchy comments over my head about another member of staff which I found very rude. I had half a head of highlights which was only left on my hair for 20 minutes. Given the clear lack of time in which she left the colour on my hair, the highlights did not take. Jade could not manage the simple task of washing and conditioning hair. I left the salon with a soaking wet top where she had let the water drop down my back and my hair felt so dry and matted despite the fact that a treatment was put on (for 1 minute if that).

I wouldn't let this salon cut or colour my hair even if it was FREE!! I'm surprised this salon is still running given the apparent lack of good reviews.

I thought the overall experience was not too bad, I didn't have to wait long. I was booked in already as I have seen on other reviews that they have had problems in the past with bookings on Wahanda and confirmation with the establishment.

I did think my visit was a little rushed because I think they were a little understaffed. What should of been 1 hrs treatment turned out to be 30mins. Luckily I only wanted a trim and a tidy up and not a whole new re-style.

Staff, location etc were all fine. Nothing particularly wrong , but nothing stand-out good ether.

My issue is with the haircut. I told the stylist want I wanted three or four times, but this was ignored. I ended up with a very basic trim (albeit shorter than I asked for) and no other cut/style. It was very uneven, especially my fringe, and I've had to even it out myself at home. It also came our very greasy. I assume the treatment wasn't washed out properly, as it wasn't greasy before I went in!

When I showed a friend a picture of my hair she responded ''oh my god, I hope you didn't pay for that." Which sums it up really. Very disappointed.

Fantastic hairdressers. Would recommend to anyone. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. No heavy sales of take homes.
