I really enjoyed my nail appointment when i came to this salon. I will recommend this treatment and salon to all my friends
Brilliant - very friendly and good threading. will definitely return. Will also recommend to friends and family to also go to the salon
Bit of an odd experience altogether - left feeling quite strange. The salon was a bustling family environment with a seemingly large, loyal clientele in Harehills. Initially bit difficult to find, tucked away upstairs but nice and clean inside. I was greeted by the owner's daughter who was very friendly and complimentary about her mum's work, and took me into a busy room with a group of regulars getting some waxing/threading done, while I slightly awkwardly hovered at the side. On the surface, the lady doing the treatment was lovely, however, I'd had transport issues out of my control and had contacted the salon telling them I was unfortunately going to be late. She kindly went through with my treatment when I was there but then kept making reference to me having been late, how she wished I hadn't been late and how she shouldn't really be doing me first when other people were arriving. I would have gladly waited or even rearranged and this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and guilty. The treatment itself was also a bit unusual. I'd booked a Brazilian, yet kept my underwear on which she merely adjusted a bit to do the waxing. The areas removed would usually constitute more of a high bikini wax, with most hair left aside from going in a bit further at the sides/top. I was admittedly too shy to query this, and did ultimately still like the results which she did very neatly. However, I agreed to pay an additional £5 to go a bit further down the leg and another £5 for a new type of wax (?lycon or similar) after it being given the hard-sell, so ended up in total paying £20 for a bikini wax - not quite the £10 Brazilian I'd initially gone in expecting - which in hindsight was clearly too good to be true. Ultimately the salon is very nice inside, the owner runs a good business and is clearly very experienced and proficient at what she does. However, not being one of the tight-knit group of regulars I did feel a bit of an outsider and it perhaps wasn't as cheap and cheerful as I'd initially expected.
My nails were made extremely shiny just by buffing, no nail polish was needed, I was really impressed. Clean environment and experienced nice natured therapist
Just come back from a waxing treatment and I am extremely happy with the end result. Staff were lovely and friendly, made me feel very relaxed and always made sure I was comfortable during my treatment. Great value for money! I will definitely be returning!
