Nearly Perfect !! Could be improved on communication between venue Walton Hotel and Wahanda to confirm I had paid via internet booking as I was asked to pay again for my Sunday Night Replenish Break luckily I had my print outs of receipts to hand to show I had paid but apart from that fabulous time, great food, amazing massage, gorgeous bedrooms and views, very, very happy!!

The massage was excellent. Had a pedicure instead of a facial which was average.
Hotel facilities disappointing. No robes or slippers supplied. Kettle missing from room - New one supplied made drinks taste of plastic and room not cleaned very well.

The hotel and spa facilities were disappointing. The spa was overcrowded which made it difficult to enjoy facilities like the steam room, sauna room or the pool. The cleanliness level was not appropriate with locker rooms not being cleaned at all during the day. The spa relaxation area was nice however difficult to relax due to many very loud hen do groups which were not encouraged to respect other paying clients. All our treatments were delayed 10-15 min which meant the treatment time was significantly reduced. The treatments themselves were enjoyable however I did experience a reaction to the facial which I have not had anywhere else before. We were so disappointed, we decided to cancel a treatment on our last day and leave early. However, we were actually charged for the canceled treatment and had to ask the hotel for a refund.

The hotel facilities were also disappointing and not equipped to deal with large crowds. Breakfast selection was limited - only one type of bread, two types of cheese, packaged yogurt and limited fresh fruit. The bar was also poorly equipped and we had to wait for one hour on one occasion to get a cold sandwich and two scones.

However, the grounds are very beautiful and make for very nice and relaxing walks. Additionally, the waiter at the bar was very nice. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing location, but poor facilities. I recommend you look into staying at the Walton Hall instead which seems much nicer. The package was good value for money but for us it wasn't worth it given the quality level.

Very good service and spa facilities. The food was well prepared and the cleanliness was spot on. I would recommend the location.

A bit disappointed by our stay. The building and grounds were beautiful but the food was a let down, It felt like they had tried to get as many guests in as possible and trying to get you in and out as quick as they could. There was a big hen party there for the weekend, it would have been nice to be told about this as we had come away for a relaxing weekend, the relaxation room wasn't relaxing at all with a big group of people sat talking! If we had had this mentioned at booking we would have chosen another weekend.

Clean spa and great faciltiies - swimming pool, relaxation room, sauna and steam room as well as tea and coffee making facilities in the lounge.

The only thing they were missing was a water cooler. You had to buy bottled water from reception.

Friendly and effienent staff.

Myself and 3 friends came for a spa day which we were looking forward to for months! Booking was very complicated because of having to book the spa day and treatments separately with different companies . Found that they didn't coincide so eventually got a day with availability but By the time treatments were booked, availability at the spa was unavailable ! Sorted out eventually by booking directly with hotel.
Actual spa day was disappointing. Treatments lasted 45 mins and not an hour as supposed to be. Massage painful and therapist talked the whole time so not relaxing. Lunch took 40minutes to arrive so had to cancel treatment after lunch as no time to eat once food had arrived. Staff unhelpful in rebooking treatment and would not take responsibility as bar was separate to hotel (even though lunch included in spa day). Overall, we were disappointed and I couldn't recommend this spa day.

The hotel is nice and modern, however the spa facilities havnt been updated so the pool is old fashioned and it was quite dirty in the changing rooms and around the pool. The pool was a good size but could have been better.

Dinner was good with great food, however we felt rushed with staff constantly around wanting to take plates away and bring our next dish.

The facial was great, it started 20 minutes late but the treatment itself was good. We were unable to get similar treatment times for the 4 of us as the spa gets booked up quickly. I would recommend finding out what times are available before booking as you could be dissapointed.

Lovely hotel but the spa lets it down badly. I had booked a facial (included in our overnight package)for 1pm and waited half an hour, no one came and there were no members of the spa staff to ask so I had to go back downstairs to the gym reception where the lovely Lauren who was very helpful and apologetic found out that my therapist; an agency staff member hadn't bothered to turn up and no one seemed to know what was going on. My facial was finally sorted nearly 2 hours later and wasn't really worth the wait. The facial was very poorly executed, the sponges used to remove the products smelt of mildew, it definately wasn't worth the treatment list price of £60. After just 50 minutes of treatment time I was left feeling very disappointed.
Finally there was no attempt to make up for the incompetence of their staff management. A real shame.
