My wife and I Stayed at the Walton Hotel Warwickshire 28.12.14

We had an initial problem as the Hotel had not been sent conformation of the booking, so it took us over 1 hour to confirm that we had paid and what we had paid for and to actually get in to the room.

The room was very average, and in need of an update. The windows were the old timber type and there was a lot of condensation. The room was quite small, more in line what you would expect in a Travelodge. However it was clean, and adequate for 1 nights stay.

The facilities were ok. The swimming pool was a bit small, but as I do not swim too far, it was ok to relax in. The sauna and steam room were adequate, however if the hotel had of been busy, then this may have been a problem as they are also both very small. There is a short walk outside to the swimming pool and sauna and beauty treatment centre.

The food: we had a 3 course meal and breakfast both of which were included in the deal. The 3 course meal was ok, but we found the portions quite small and the not hot enough. The breakfast was very good and catered for all.

The drinks (not included) were very expensive.

Generally we found the whole experience very good, especially as the cost of it all was only £78.00 per person.

All was good in the end, but make sure you book your treatment times ASAP after you have booked it through LM.com and make sure you get your allotted time.

everything was fantastic apart from the spa facilities. there is only a small steam and sauna room which one wasn't working. there was no jacuzzi and the pool was apparently only for aqua class so we had no spa facilities to use. the food, service and treatments were fabulous

Had a lovely massage however the sauna and steam room were out of order which we were not told about before arrival and there was no Jacuzzi; The pool was lovely with sun loungers surrounding it and there were plenty for the amount of people there. The surroundings and buildings were beautiful.

Leisure facilities not the cleanest and did not receive our facial, which was not resolved and we did not get another treatment instead even though we had already paid for them.
Hotel itself was very nice in a lovely location and staff very friendly.

Beautiful site in the middle of Warwickshire countryside, rooms are fine and full body massage was relaxing. Other spa facilities were too busy so have avoided them. However the food in the Orangerie restaurant is absolutely amazing and makes this package extremely good value!

Spa really needs some work. The pool had kids screaming in it so not so relaxing. Treatments were AMAZING! The grounds were beautiful and customer service spot on. The place needs some investment, especially the spa facilities. Would probably go back but I would not say it was anything to write home about.

Setting was lovely and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Swim and sauna facilities are a little bit dated compared to some of the newer thermal style spas and at one point there were a lot of children in the pool so it would have been nice if there was a Jacuzzi available to avoid being bashed into as you went up and down the pool! This was probably just a bit unfortunate timing as the pool was then empty an hour later but it is worth noting so you don't expect a tranquil adults only area! The gardens outside are fantastic to sit in if the weather is good and the gym is well equipped. Treatments were also really good and there is a nice relaxation room next to the treatment rooms if you want a good chill out zone.

Expected slightly higher standard, thought it was part of puma group
as it was advertise on Internet but later found out it was not. Being
vegetarian we did not have much choice in the restaurant. Overall it
was not a bad deal. There is a room for improvement to be a proper 4*

Very good experience and would go again. The venue is beautiful, one small compliant, we were virtually ignored for 10 mins when we sat down at the table for dinner and not given a wine list but it is a tiny complaint.
