Had a lovely day with my mum and my sister. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were good, lunch delicious and the unlimited free hot drinks were a bonus.

The spa itself is pretty disappointing; a pool where the temperature is pretty cold, no jacuzzi & it's small. It's gets packed pretty quickly. The changing rooms are tiny, old fashioned & pretty grim. Have been to spas with better & more modern facilities.

The dining area is also small & can't cater for the amount of guests at the hotel. We had a dinner reservation & had to wait for our table as 'guests were still enjoying the table!' When we finally got the table we were ignored for ages & had to keep asking for service & repeating the order as things were continuously missed. By the time we'd finally had all of our courses, the whole thing had taken over 2 hours. Really not impressed.

The staff are polite & friendly but the hotel & Spa can't cope with the amount of guests it has & the Spa isn't so great. There are better hotel spa deals to be had.

Some of the staff were a bit whisy-washy and not overly helpful, my sister had a Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage, as well as a Facial. My sister told me that the lady doing the treatment did not speak to her the whole time and did not ask what type of pressure etc she wanted for the massage.

Our main disappointment was lunch, we collected our lunch voucher from reception and taken down to the restaurant, we were told we could keep our Robes and slippers on. We were taken into the restaurant and to our horror were surrounded by lots of business types in suits. We decided to sit in a quiet corner out the way and to our horror were then surrounded by a group of business people, who sounded like they were having their Company Sales meeting, I have never felt so uncomfortable, while we sat there with wet hair and no make-up.

The service for lunch was extremely slow, considering it was not that busy when we arrived at 12.50. We only ordered sandwiches and drinks, as the lunch voucher was £10 per person, twice I had to chase the waiter for our order. It eventually arrived 45 minutes later and was not what the menu had described (packet granary bread, rather then a Bloomer), with side salad (a handful of dry Rocket more like). We then had very little time to eat as we were booked in to have treatments.

The pool water was really cold and the Sauna out of action.

Staff were a bit clueless - didn't know what offers they have going on. Tried to over charge us.
The robes were a brown colour and to say it was quiet the food took ages.

The staff were reminiscent of Faulty Towers, the hotel do so many spa day offers with numerous companies that they are unable to fathom out what you have actually booked. The Spa experience itself was a disapointment with tiny cramped showers that looked shabby and in need of a good clean, no jacuzzi and a total fiasco over incorrect drinks and what lunch should have been provided. As a spa venue they need to go back to basics, a total revamp of the spa facilities would be a good place to start

An excellent deal in fabulous surroundings.
The day was beautiful and warm so we could sit out on their private decking area in our toweling gowns, even in October.
We shared a superb fish platter after our treatment.

Lovely treatments, nice staff, no jacuzzi but I could have checked that when I booked. Have been twice & would return. Enjoyed food I had afterwards too in the bar.

A lovely venue if you;re looking to relax. Very calming with good facilities. The staff were all friendly and the pool was a good temperature. The only negatives were that the changing rooms were very small.

The hotel and room was lovely, and the dinner in the evening superb however the health spa facilities weren't very nice. We arrived on Saturday at 3pm (earliest hotel advised we could arrive) and decided to have a swim, the pool was full of children screaming, this was not relaxing. The changing facilities were disgusting and the 1 hour massage was awful there was no consultation. When I complained I was advised that children are allowed in the pool from 3-5pm which is when spa guests are allowed to use the facilities, the cleaner wasn't in therefore the changing rooms were not cleaned and regarding the message I was advised I could have a massage the following day at 430pm - unfortunately I had to leave at 1pm the next day as had to collect my own children from Birmingham. My husband and I wanted a relaxing spa break, I like children (obviously because I have two of my own) however this cannot be sold as a relaxing break!!! I would recommend the hotel as a one night stay with dinner but not as a spa weekend - spa facilities are very poor which lets the hotel down. My husband and I don't get much time to ourselves this was a rare treat and unfortunately we were disappointed. The hotel has offered to give us vouchers for the massage but so far we have not heard from them!!!

We were very lucky with our room. Mahoosive! Food glorious..worthy of a Michelin star. Treatments were nice but be really careful, they fall short of the 60 and 40mins purchased.
I'd advise visitors to pay as they go for any extras (lunch, drinks, extra treatments etc) we were overcharged on the bill. Although rectified without difficulty, we did have to query the bill. Really clean, staff fab and an all round positive experience. Deffo go again. Thanks.

Had potential but being located in a room above a disco when on a relaxing spa break was not my idea of relaxing!! :(

Lunch disappointing - sandwichs had a hint of filling and when paying in excess of £6 that is not accpetable.

Evening meal was good.

Spa treatment was very good.

After our recent stay at billesley manor we wos quite dissapoined as the hotel looked stunning but did not match inside the room wos basic and poor decor we wos on a spa package but we had no robes in our room or slippers which should be provided so we had to use the spas and wanted them straight back so we had to rush them back to spa which wos not down to us as they should of been their I could not have a massage as I wos full of cold not many other treatments were offered to me so I had my toes done and the paint all came off !! Their wos no jacuzzi!! And it wos meant to be a spa it wos poor !! It wos my husbands 40 th a special break so dissapointing they never sent the robes up allweekend and this wos a spa weekend the facilities in the room poor difficult to get ready with no dressing mirror or stool and a hanging rail only !! Like I said great on the outside but it diddnt match up inside stayed in many hotels in Stafford and other puma ones it wos a shame as we had looked forward to this for a long time .

Friendly welcome to Hotel and spa. Lovely facial, although time to relax at the end would have been nice. Not enough towels in hotel room but delivered promptly when requested. Friendly and informative staff at evening meal who were attentive. Lovely food and plenty of choice at dinner and breakfast. Points to improve - mixer taps on bath made getting a safe temperature for the shower difficult. More staff needed at check out as very busy and more attention needed for billing as they tried to charge us for extras we hadn't had so keep a close eye. Second visit which we enjoyed on the whole.

Checked our appointment times when we arrived the evening before to be told only one of our treatments had been booked in. They did solve it by the next day but if we hadn't of checked the evening before we would have turned up at 9.30am for an appointment they hadn't booked into the system. Pool was closed for the whole day that we wanted to use the spa.
Evening meals at the hotel were lovely. Breakfast was a nightmare, they had a wedding on the day before and they obviously couldn't cope with the amount of people at breakfast even though everyone would have booked their stay a long time ago. Only children sized plates were available and had to wait for the food to come out.
2nd stay at a Puma place that was unsatisfactory so won't book with them again
