Friendly welcome to Hotel and spa. Lovely facial, although time to relax at the end would have been nice. Not enough towels in hotel room but delivered promptly when requested. Friendly and informative staff at evening meal who were attentive. Lovely food and plenty of choice at dinner and breakfast. Points to improve - mixer taps on bath made getting a safe temperature for the shower difficult. More staff needed at check out as very busy and more attention needed for billing as they tried to charge us for extras we hadn't had so keep a close eye. Second visit which we enjoyed on the whole.

Checked our appointment times when we arrived the evening before to be told only one of our treatments had been booked in. They did solve it by the next day but if we hadn't of checked the evening before we would have turned up at 9.30am for an appointment they hadn't booked into the system. Pool was closed for the whole day that we wanted to use the spa.
Evening meals at the hotel were lovely. Breakfast was a nightmare, they had a wedding on the day before and they obviously couldn't cope with the amount of people at breakfast even though everyone would have booked their stay a long time ago. Only children sized plates were available and had to wait for the food to come out.
2nd stay at a Puma place that was unsatisfactory so won't book with them again

I would tell my friends if you wanted a treatment & to use the hotel facilities (including screaming kids in the pool) then its perfect. If you want a spa day avoid

Great value for money. Beautiful venue and rooms. Extremely clean. Friendly staff. Excellent food and drinks. Facial was good, unfortunetly massage was not the best i've ever had and definitely did not last half an hour like the package states - I was a little dissapointed by this.

This experience was poor value for money compared with other spa days that I have been on. The pool area was cramped and there were several young children in there splashing around so it was noisy. My back and neck massage was pleasant but once I'd come out it was apparent that there was nowhere to sit and relax.

Lunch wasn't completely covered in the cost of the spa morning as we only had £10 to put towards the meal and most food was over £10. Beverages came at an additional expense.

The settings are truly lovely but don't come here if you want to feel pampered. It was far from the relaxing experience I had hoped for.

We had room number 17 and it was at the far end of the corridor adjacent to the Spa Centre. There was some storage next to our room which the hotel staff were using and they were a little noisy. However, the plus side of this room was that it was well away from the noise of the banqueting suites and bar and restaurant areas. When we checked in the room had not been set up as a double so we had to ask for it to be changed to a twin arrangement. Also the robes were not in our rooms as they should have been. The beauty therapist was, in my opinion, a little brusque which detracted from the experience a little. The pool, steam room and changing facilities were good. The main highlight of the weekend was the evening meal - it was excellent - Masterchef standard! The staff were also excellent and attentive. The breakfast the following morning was also of a good standard. Overall a good weekend and excellent value for money - I would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing getaway.

Most of the staff appeared to be friendly and helpful. The Treatments were amazing.

However, i wasn't impressed when a female cleaner came into the men's dressing room and began to mop out the floor whilst I was in the shower. There was no attempt by her to leave the changing room when I came out to get dressed.

The room and food were good value for money.

Had a great spa weekend at Billesley Manor. Lovely hotel, with friendly helpful staff. Rooms and food were also very good. Would recommend.

Small downside was that our room wasnt in the main hotel, it was it the barn a few yards away, which meant getting wet in the rain!

I went here with my friend and we have a lovely break to be fair. The treatments were a little dissappointing as they were due to last 30 minutes each however I was out of the treatment rooms after 50 minutes and felt somewhat short changed when I saw the clock on the wall. The pool is nothing special and full of children - more like a leisure centre than a luxurious spa. The sauna was not working when we went. All the loungers by the pool were taken up by towels with no owners in sight so we could not sit poolside. The food is delicious though as we stayed for evening meal and breakfast. The room itself got very hot and we had to sleep with the windows open all night which meant we were woken up early by the surrounding animals and wildlife. It is a lovely hotel in the middle of nowhere however the spa treatments were not great. Don't feel it was worth the £99 each.

Billesley Manor Hotel is very warm, friendly and clean. I had a wonderful relaxing stay there as a birthday treat and had beauty treatments. All rooms were clean and relaxing with low lighting and calming music.. Staff were professional and very friendly. I find it hard to relax but this was not a problem for me whist having my treatments. Hettie was my therapist. She was very friendly which made me relax. I told Hettie I did not like lying flat whilst having a facial so she took her time and adjusted the bed to a suitable position for me. While waiting for the treatments I had a cappuccino and could see how helpful all staff were. The pool looked very clean but I did not use it. My husband did and he said it was great. We would recommend this hotel and spa to anyone who wants to wind down, treat themselves to spa treatments and forget everything. I hope to return there soon.
