My partner and I went for the Sunday Replenish break and were very impressed. The massages were fabulous. The spa facilities aren't bad - but it's a little awkward having to wander through the gym in your robe in order to get from A to B.

The evening meal was delicious. We were brought the wrong dessert, but the staff were very apologetic and rectified it immediately.

All in all - excellent value for money and we will be guaranteed to return.

It was an on the spot decision to go however the hotel was pleasant a little tired in places but overall ok. The two treatments received left us most relaxed and the three course meal and table service could not be faulted overall a good 24 hrs.

Fabulous 2 night break. Time to make use of all the facilities. Massages and facials were so restorative and very relaxing. And we had time for a walk into the countryside. Quality and presentation of the food was stunning - we were amazed!
Altogether a wonderful break and everyone said how well we looked on our return.

The staff were very courteous and friendly. The food was absolutely divine: starter, main course and desert. Overall a very good service all around.

Cleanliness in ladies locker rooms left a bit to be desired. 2 therapists - same treatments booked but different service given - should be the same for everyone.

The spa was lovely especially the outdoor jacuzzi which was really warm. The staff were brilliant, they were attentive and made sure there were no problems. They organised the lunch and it was delicious. At one point the coffee machine ran out of water for tea and they came straightaway to fixit and gave us fresh water. All in all a great spa day.

I had a Signature Spa Day at Beauty Rooms at the Basingstoke Country Hotel, The Hotel Collection. Great day out with a group of 5. The hot tub outside is a very nice treat, and the staff are lovely.

A friend and I visited the spa for a morning booster session. On arrival we were given our robes and a brief explanation of where everything was. We had to go back to ask for some slippers as these were not initially given to us. The coffee machine was not working but a member of staff very quickly sorted this out for us. We loved the outdoor jacuzzi and spent quite a lot of time in there. When we came to order our lunch we were a bit disappointed at the limited choice, however this is obviously reflected in the low price of the session. When the food arrived it was hot and tasty. We both had our back, neck and shoulder massages towards the end of our session. My massage was average and fairly relaxing, however my friend was extremely disappointed hers. Overall we enjoyed our time at the spa and would return.

Spa facilities lovely and massage with facial was amazing.
Hotel was disappointing- robes and slippers were not provided and the night manager was not particularly helpful or assertive in fixing the problem- he interrupted and spoke over me when I complained which was irritating. OVerall the hotel is understaffed- we had to wait to check in, wait to complain and waited 50 minutes for our starter at dinner time (not sure what the point of reserving a time for dinner if you have to wait 50 minutes). Some staff were amazing and helpful, others miserable and rude- real mix which is a shame as people could make this a really good experience. Our waitress didn't bother to let us know how delayed food was until i asked and there was just a general lack of nonchalant.
Overall spa facilities are nice, some work on the hotel ambiance is required to make this a good weekend away though. generally came away feeling disappoint.

From start to finish we could not fault the value for money. The hotel staff were superb. So friendly and helpful. My massage was bliss and the staff were extremely helpful in assisting one of my friends, who had a health problem, with an alternative treatment. The food choice and quality was very good. The only thing missing was a bit of music to create more ambience in the restaurant. Otherwise, I would not hesitate in recommending.

Really nice staff, good quality treatment, and afternoon tea hit the spot, though overall the facilities are not super special. An enjoyable afternoon with a friend nonetheless!

The cleanliness of the changing rooms wasn't great, the manicure was the best part of the experience, around the pool wasn't very relaxing as it was used by all the hotel guests which included children and although we booked our lunch for one o'clock we waited nearly half an hour for soup and a sandwhich.

The spa treatments were superb but sadly, the rest of the experience was terrible. Rude, abrasive staff and a restaurant experience that I NEVER want to repeat (4 hours for a 3 course meal). I think the hotel had a record breaking number of complaints that weekend as the restaurant manager was so awful.
The hotel is large and the spa is nice, but the staff and facilities aren't adapted to cope with the number of guests the hotel receives when it's full.
