Leading a stressful life, results in getting knotts in one's neck, and shoulder blades. Nicola spent time easing the discomfort in my back and i thoroughly enjoyed my time. I will be returning.

Nice Venue and Nicola was lovely. Would definetly return for a massage and other treatments. Not the most relaxing massage ive had but definetly worth the money and enjoyed it just the same.

BEWARE! - BE WARNED!
This is not a 1 hour, full body massage, its a 25 min light skin rub with a facial.
The room was cold i had a thin towel which was far to small
The music was bagpipes, not very appropriate at all.
Nicola actually spent a good 5 min of this time using her finger tips with a light pressing on either side of my spine, up and down each side, it felt like she was just walking her fingers along the skin, but very slowly and with no effect what so ever.
I have had many massages over the last 18 years due to a slipped disk when i was 21, i left this place feeling exactly the same as i went in!
She told me as i stepped in, i don't do full body massage its just back and neck, i said OK then but as long as you concentrate on my neck and lower back.
She rubbed my shoulders with the same motion each time, no variation, missing my neck completely.
At the end i just wanted to say "did you forget i said neck and lower back?".
and for aromatherapy, it had no smell what so ever, she never told me what she was using, or what i would prefer even.
For all i know it was chip pan fat!

Complete waste of time.

This salon is very close to my home so I was pleasantly surprised to learn of its existence. I booked in for a wax treatment - underarm, full leg and hollywood. The time allotted was 60 mins which I thought was quite tight. I've had this done before and the appointment is never shorter than 90mins. The treatment was completed within 60 mins however.
The salon was cold and when I followed the therapist downstairs (who I discovered on asking that she was, in fact, Nicola) there was a strong smell of damp.
The treatment room was badly laid out and not very clean. Floor dirty, walls dirty and towels on the treatment table that were obviously not clean despite it being first thing in the morning; there were remnants of other people's pubic hair and obvious fresh dirt and usage ie not just stains that had been attempted to be washed out on the towels. Real radio playing throughout for the therapist and not my relaxation.
As I understand it, the practice of waxing works best when the skin is taut: one of the reasons you get someone else to do it, having only one pair hands. Skin around my knees, my bikini line and further in, underarms are all red and sore from the wax being yanked off without the skin being held properly. For the knees I've experienced a simple little trick - you just bend them and this solves the issue - something I would have thought they'd teach at college?
The main thing however is that I booked a hollywood wax, which is, as far as I understand it, removal of all hair in the bikini area and as far back as it goes. On inspection when I returned home I discovered that most of the pubic hair was still very much there. I'll now have to go somewhere I trust to sort this.
I don't think my standards or expectations are set too high. Getting this kind of very personal treatment is a luxury but this was not. Disappointing.

Very pleased with my waxing experience. Only the second time that I've had a professional wax done, and this was so much better than the first time (which was elsewhere)! Nicola was very professional, a good amount of chat and awkward silences that I hate at beautician's were alleviated by the radio playing. Seemed less painful than the first time and certainly less patchy.

Visited this Salon in April for an aromatherapy massage and was happy to get a later slot on a Thursday as I work Monday to Friday 9-5. The therapist Nicola was lovely offering me a hot drink when I arrived 30 minutes early and managing to squeeze me in early so I wasn't waiting too long. Its a nice friendly salon, with lovely staff. I also really enjoyed my massage - especially considering i got such a great deal. Also had a bit of a mixup with the voucher and Nicola was really understanding and helpful. Will be booking in for another visit soon :)

I enjoyed the CACI facial although I would have preferred the therapist to have explained the treatment to me as it was my first time (although she did do after I asked).

Working full time it is hard to fit in a treatment so the late night opening on a Thursday is ideal and parking outside is easy unlike some city centre salons. Great full body massage and Nicola included a quick facial at the end which was a nice surprise.

The hot stone massage was great, really relaxing and the therapist was great, she didn't make you feel the need to talk she just let me relax or chat if I wanted (as some therapists wont stop talking). I will definitely go again.
