Had overnight spa break as part of a girlie break (party of 6 ) Had fabulous time .All staff very very welcoming Always met with a smile .Food was very nice .Although bedrooms are small ,perfectly adequate for our needs .beds very comfortable Would definitely recommend and would return .Ideal spot for shopping in Darlington the next day No need to find alternative parking ,staff allow you to leave it at the hotel and town just 2minute walk away
This deal was excellent value and we had a lovely time. The staff seemed a little disorganised as they charged some members of our party for slippers and robe and not others, they confused the times of all of our treatments and there was a lot of confusion about our afternoon tea which the staff at the spa booked us into, assured us it was at the spa and then looked really worried when we arrived for it, after much deliberation, they at first insisted that it wasn't part of our package (which it was) then realised it was at the hotel rather than the spa (we had asked if it was on arrival and were told that it was definitely at the spa. On arrival at the hotel the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The package we paid for promised a bottle of prosecco per room, however the staff at the hotel insisted this was not part of the package and gave us two bottles between 8 of us. Despite all of this, we still feel the package was excellent value but could have been a bit more organised.

amazing ! room was cozy and clean, really warm but in room fan sorted that out. Maxine's restaurant is a must !!! Xmas menu was outstanding
The hotel was beautiful. Our room was spotless and very tastefully decorated. All of the public areas were gorgeous and every member of staff we met were very welcoming and professional. The gym was not on site but this was not an issue at all as we checked out of the hotel prior to going over, and the hotel kindly gave us extra towels for swimming which we left with the gym to hand back.
