The spa was very busy and it just felt like we were on a conveyor belt.... Massage was no where near as firm as I would have liked even though I did say.... But I am not surprised seeing how many clients they have to see the staffs hands and wrists must be hurting!! The head massage was a joke though, just the temples rubbed for a few minutes ... Treatnents felt really basic...

The spa hasn't that many facilities and the pool was cold :(

The staff were lovely and friendly though!!

I took my mum for her birthday and overall the experience was fantastic. The only slight problem was with the voucher when we arrived but the staff where very efficient at sorting the problem.

Had a chocolate massage, booked as 30 minutes. Had barely 20 minutes treatment. The treatment was OK, nothing special and it is expensive for Hastings. What really angers me is Bannatyne's complete ignoring of my complaint. Emailed the same day - ignored. Emailed a week later and was told it will take 14 days to investigate. After 18 days, no response. Emailed again - guess what? No answer. This is appalling and I will definitely not return

Friendly staff, great manicure lasted for ages. Manicure station is in waiting area so not as relaxing as it could be.

I had a lovely session at the spa, although you have to walk through the busy entrance/café from the spa to the changing rooms and also when you are going back for the treatments in your dressing gown. It was quite busy in the spa when I arrived and wasn't told about the quiet room that could be used and I only saw it by chance as I was waiting for my treatment as I saw people going in there, so I did use it for 10 minutes afterwards but would have been nice to use beforehand as the pool/hot tubs were very busy so I just sat on a lounger outside for a couple of hours!

Bit of an issue with the Wahanda booking but once that had been sorted I was truly pampered. Nice environment and friendly staff

I tried to book various offers first but it kept saying 'can't be booked online'! I finally found one which was my 3rd choice. I kept getting emails from Wahanda saying I would earn credit if I recommended a friend. I made several attempts to do this. When I phoned Wahanda they said it wasn't used anymore! Why send it on a current email?

I was booked in for a scalp massage and all she did was brush my hair with her fingers. There was no massaging of the scalp whatso ever.

Me and my husband went there on 4 February 2012, the venue was easy to find, very close to our home. The staff there was friendly but professional. The place is clean and welcoming. we had a lovely time there and we will certainly visit there again.

Stayed here with an overnight stay which is definitely worth it if you're looking for a relaxing weekend get away. There isn't a lot in the area but the hotel is nice and clean and the restaurant is good value for money. Staff were friendly, the gym facilities were good with a range of equipment and we also joined in an exercise class as part of the deal. The treatment area is small but the ambience is great and the quality of the massage was excellent.
