Bailiffscourt Spa at Bailiffscourt Hotel part of Historic Sussex Hotels

One of the most luxurious spas in the south of England, Bailiffscourt Spa was purpose-built to provide the finest contemporary health and relaxation facilities in stunning surroundings.

Built in the style of a Sussex barn with a dramatic exposed timber frame, the spa has received a prestigious design award for its architecture. The interior style and decor look to nature for inspiration with the contrasting textures of polished limestone and natural green oak, and expansive windows bringing the outdoors in to the beautiful indoor pool area.

Wonderful weekend away in a beautiful place. Overall we had a perfect stay and wish it was longer than one night. The only thing I thought could have been better for the price was the food. It was good food but not worth the amount they are asking.

Fab place, the massage was a bit painful to be honest and not anywhere near as good as other spas I have been to and it has left me with probs in my neck and back this wk so that is a disappointment and not ideal. The mini pedicure was very quick more like a little file and a paint over than anything else, however the spa day was a good price so perhaps not quite as long was spent as someone who paid the full price. However I will go back again but try different treatments as the place and meal was awesome!

Loved the medieval theme and had a most luxurious two days. All staff very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the spa and treatments especially the water pad topped massage beds. Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family for that special treat

Sent my wife and her friend here for a surprise spa day for her birthday, got a great deal at a third off and she absolutely loved it.
She said it was beatifully laid out with lovely decor, the food was great and her massage was brilliant, will definitely go back but maybe this time I might join her well recommended but I would suggest to book through rawanda as really did get a great deal.

It was a lovely day.
The few things I would say is the changing area is very small and and was quite stressful as there was many people in there at the same time. Also a separate family changing area might be an idea. Also if children are allowed to use facilities staff should be more vigilant of there use as in -running around, jumping in and out of pool/jacuzzi/sauna/steam room. This doesn't lead to a very relaxing experience for guests who have spent money on a relaxing spa day treat.
The spa facilities were lovely and all staff very welcoming, our massages were amazing. I will be looking out for spa day offers to come back again.

We had a a really, really great time. There was a fair bit off noise from the room above at night, but that's just part of an old building, not a custom made modern hotel. The friendliness of the staff and loveliness of the surroundings more than made up for it. Had I paid full price for the evening meal I might have felt a little over-charged, but as part of the last minute package it was excellent. The spa is just perfect. Would love to go back!

Great 60th birthday celebrations with my daughter and friends. Hotel staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was amazing upgraded with no questions after being shown to previous room near a rather vocal dog ! Food was outstanding, must remember to treat my husband soon as this was a girls treat! Such a beautiful setting, wonderful outdoor pool and so easy to take a walk to the beach.

A beautiful place where all our needs were catered for. The spa was lovely and relaxing and they enforced their restrictions on children policies which was a massice plus for us having previously visited spas where they do not at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and my facial was excellent. Great value for money and could've easily stayed for longer.

My Wife & I enjoyed an overnight stay at Bailiffscourt Spa & Hotel last week and had a wonderfully relaxing time. Helped by the remarkable Hot English weather the facilities and grounds were perfect and even had resident Peacocks and Peahens wondering around. A wonderful touch was a Housekeeping staff member noticing that we had a bottle of fizz in our room; only to return with a champagne bucket with ice and glasses! Nice. The breakfast was of a high quality, as were the other meals we took whilst there although a little pricy and slightly limiting perhaps.
