Fast and easy. Great staff. Pain free waxing! Loved the coconut smell felt like being on holiday.

Thank you to the lovely young beautician.

Friendly staff, loved the hot wax, painless and quick! Easy to find, central London Waterloo. Thank you very much for making me hair free again.

Loved the room it was in and the therapist was lovely. I had the rose renewal facial which was nice although the next day my skin wasn't much different to how it was before.

The festive package was a really good lift from the dark and damp December weather. The scrub had a lovely scent without being overpowering, and Nicole's style meant the application really was the start of the massage. For the actual massage it was a bit distracting that not all of the scrub was off my skin so I felt some bits being rubbed in with the oil. That said the actual massage was great and made a difference to the tension in my neck and shoulders despite only being 30 minutes.

The spa area in the hotel basement with the gym in the same area, so it's not a relaxed spa where I'd want to spend a day. But the treatment room was nice and everything was very clean so I'd happily return for other treatments.

I have visited this place before, so I knew the Rose Facial would be a lovely experience. I was not disappointed. It was a different therapist, but just as good as before. You also get a relaxing hand & arm massage during the face mask, and this is a lovely treat with the facial. Yes, you have to ask at the hotel reception for a key to get into the health club/spa, but once that's figured out, there's no problem. It's just a shame I can't find the same deal again on Wahanda. I would highly recommend the Rose Renewal Radiance facial.

I bought this for a friend as a present and we went together. The treatments (half hour facial, half hour massage were good although the massage was more like 20mins!). The deal was supposed to include use of spa facilities but as the sauna was switched off (and would take hours to heat up) there was only a steam room.

I would recommend aurora spa to all, I visited this spa for the first time and I was very impressed. Its definitely worth every penny. after the treatment you will feel real difference and the face will be smooth and so soft. I am definitely visiting the spa again for facial. i was able to use gym, sauna and steam before the facial and i could spend the whole day in the spa.

One of the best facial experience I have had in London. The spa is located within a hotel and the only point for improvement is that there's no clear sign of the spa and there isn't a spa reception, which left me looking around to find my therapist up and down the stairs as I was 10 minutes early for the appointment. Other than that, the facial was perfect and the therapist was very professional. I really enjoyed the treatment!!!

Really excellent. Relaxing and classy setting, very pleasant and knowledgeable therapist. She offered me the choice of the hour long facial I had booked, or half hour facial plus half hour massage. I went for the latter, and both were great.

My Therapist was really friendly & nice.
The decor added to the amazing ambience.
The facial products had a delicious aroma. I had a lovely leg & foot massage with nice, firm pressure whilst the facial mask was on, but not a facial massage, which was the only thing missing from the treatment.
The Therapist also gave me a £10 discount voucher, which was great, as I have already used it twice!

The location was not the easiest to find. Once at the hotel I wasted so much time trying to get someone to ring the spa as the doors were locked (requiring hotel key). Hence I was late. The massge itself was good. OK experience overall

Great venue although on the small side. I had to wait for the therapist to change into her massage uniform :(. Massage was good, she even went out of her way to heal my wrist as she explained she believed in healing. One major downside to the lovely and bubbly therapist was that her hands were rather sweaty! Otherwise, an enjoyable treatment.

I bought a Wahanda voucher for Renew Rose Radiance Facial at Aurora Spa. I called a very nice lady called Dawn booked me in the next day at the Waterloo branch. I aksed and she gave me very good directions so I found the hotel with no problems. When I arrived the therapist picked me up from reception. Her name was Nicola and she was very friendly and made me feel instantly comfortable and welcome.
As I was a bit hot and sweaty she offered a clean towel and a bathrobe and showed me to a beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean shower. That was such a bonus as I would otherwise feel a bit uncomfortable as the day was very hot. After I had a shower (they had Elemis products in the shower!) my treatment began in a nice, also spotlessly clean room. The music wasn’t that great but mellow enough.
Nicola was using Aromatherapy products – I have never heard of them before – but they smelled lovely. After several different products have been applied Nicola then put a mask on my face and offered another treatment from a choice of three – a mini manicure or mini pedicure or massage. I chose foot massage and it was great! She had strong hands and did the massage very well. After treatment my face had a healthy glow and I felt thoroughly relaxed.
So why 4 stars and not 5 ? Well: I have had lots a facials in different spas and I have got to say in terms of ‘facial massage during a treatment‘ I find that Clarins therapists are the best (they have this technique where they use two hands but feels like they are just using one - it feels like one continuous long movement utterly blissful feeling… hard to explain, but those who used Clarins spas will know what I mean!) Anyway Nicola was not as good as them – but she was still great! And for the money I paid – I was 100% satisfied. It is a fantastic value for money considering how great the overall experience was. I will buy the voucher again and have already recommended it to my friends.

I arrived at the venue to find the therapist on route. As a result I ended up drinking tea in the hotel bar whilst I waited for her to arrive. When she did arrive she came and found me and took me down to the spa. It was a small room but big enough for the facial. The ambience was great, low lighting, soothing music and a lovely aroma. The therapist made me feel relaxed from the off and the facial as well as the mini head and hand massages she gave me whilst the face mask was on were an added bonus!
Overall a great experience after a long day at work - I went home very relaxed.
I only saw the treatment room and the toilet whilst in there so therefore I cannot comment on the other facilities it offers.

The experience was great, however the 'deal' was misleading and we ended up paying for the 2nd massage! Not impressed with that, working should have been clearer on what to expect.

I was doing a choco massage there. Could not find the place immediately as there are two hotel under the same name standing close to each other, so I mixed them and was late for 15 mins. The massage was quick and "non-emotional". So the overall feeling was not like after a spa treatment but as if I did smth in a hurry. Though the design of the room was quite modern and nice.

The hotel was a little hard to find so I was a bit late, but the therapist was really cool about it and as she didn't have any appointments after me, gave me the full hour anyway. The facial was relaxing, especially the facial massage part. My skin felt soft afterwards but this was a more of a relaxing treat than a skin-changing session.
Nice for a bit of pampering.

First of all, make sure you go to the Park Plaza COUNTY HALL! I went to the other Park Plaza at Waterloo by mistake, which is literally next door (over the road). Then I went to County Hall, which is actually the Marriott. This was entirely my own fault for not checking first.
As it's a hotel spa, there was no-one to meet at the spa. I guess you may have to check in at the main reception desk, but a member of staff swiped me into the spa, which I think is actually just a treatment room in the health club. However, the treatment room had a fabulously relaxing atmosphere once the door is shut behind you. The therapist was very friendly, and completed my full 1 hour treatment even though I was a little late.
The Rose Facial itself was fantastic. I was never a real fan of facials, but the therapist has converted me. You get a hand and arm massage while the mask is setting in. The smells of the products used were lovely. Overall, it was a brilliant experience and I'm going straight back on to Wahanda to book in my next one!

When I arrived there was no record of my booking, so luckily the lone therapist was free. So despite waiting for 20 mins the therapist was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. The treatment was excellent and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was noisy as the room was not soundproof and beside a mixed gym so a little distracting. The voucher was good value but I would not have been happy spending my own hard earned pennies here.

The spa has a gym and one therapy room and one room for manicure and pedicures. It is very clean and well decorated. There is a sauna and steam room but the steam room was not on, not sure if it was not working or just not turned on. The therapy room was lovely and there were beautiful cotton sheets on the bed. The massage was good and very relaxing. I would definitely go back.
