I took my boyfriend for his 30th and we both had a lovely day. It was very relaxing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a facial and my boyfriend had an aromatherapy back massage and both were excellent. The facilities were clean and had everything you need. We used the David Lloyd facilities as well which were good. The Jacuzzi is next to the main pool so it can get quite busy after a class but you can use the sauna or steam room while you wait. Overall we had an enjoyable and very relaxing experience. We definitely intend on going back :)
Third time I've been to this spa and again I was not dissapointed. Have now taken my mother-in- law for a spa experience and now came back with my mum. They both enjoyed as much as I did and found it value for money when you can also use the gym facilities, swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam/sauna. I WILL be back again : )
I am a real wuss and wanted to get my eyebrows done for ages. I told Emma this and she let me try the wax on my arm first so I could decide if I wanted to go ahead. She explained why it is more painful to pluck them myself and then she waxed them! I guarantee it was pain free and she plucked any few stray ones for me and made a beautiful job of them. Will definitely go back when they grow back!
From the moment you sit down in the chilled lounge area you can feel yourself relax I enjoy getting there early for a treatment and having a cup of herbal tea with my feet up on one of the futons! Everyone is very friendly and every treatment I have had has always been good value for money. The massage by Danielle was especially good and I would recommend it to anyone. It really is Spa heaven hidden away in the middle of a busy built up town!
I am always looking out for spa offers and I go to spa days/offers frequently at least once a month and I am very critical of places. However, this place is lovely. It is so spacious, calming, great ambience. There are quite a few treatment rooms, nice size and lovely words on the wall (you know those printed verses you can get). Extremely tidy, clean and nice touch of a flower on the treament bed when you first walk in. I had a lava shell massage and it was fabulous : )) My therapist Danielle was lovely, nice manner, made me feel relaxed, comfortable and just 'chatty' enough. Can't wait to go back.
