In all honesty, I have waited more than six months to write this review as I wanted to know the results of the treatments from Dr Ashok's Ayurveda Clinic. Undoubtedly, this is the most professional place I have ever been to when it comes to Ayurvedic practices.

We as a family are into a lot of ayurveda treatments but had visited quite a few and very always sure they were not very clean or very professional places, the medicines were some times dodgy, not properly rated or packed.

But Dr Ashoks Ayurveda clinic was the best place we have ever been to. As a family we had a lot of treatments there- between me, my mum, my father and my sister. I first went in for dark circle treatments (had some oils to apply, paste and facials), I was so impressed, I took my mum in for indepth consultation for her high weight and arthritis. I have seen my mum in pain for years with her arthritis, she has been in and out of GP and consultants at NHS. For her arthritis, now she was told she can only have a knee replacement, which finally she was not deemed fit for because of her weight!! Mum was told to exercise to help weight loss, but her joints hurt especially knees hurt, she was given some steroid injections too in her knee, but this was not a cure and symptoms only settles for short periods.

At Dr Ashok's clinic, it was an amazing experience, Dr Ashok saw my mum with great empathy, mum and me fell in love with his kind hearted and humble nature, you don't find many knowledgeable professionals with this down to earth attitude. He examined mum and she started her treatment journey with some medications- both tablets and liquids, she also had few detox treatments and Arthritis care massages and powder massages for her weight loss. Mum also benefited with some paste treatments on her joints, they worked amazingly for her pains and swellings.

Now nearly six months of visits, mum is so much in control of her weight, having lost slightly more than a stone, despite her poor physical ability, her pain in joints have been much in control this winter and her movements are much better. She is also on less medications as compared to what the GP had given.

We are truly amazed with the professionalism, utmost care, unique therapies offered at Dr Ashok's Clinic. The serenity in Dr Ashoks clinic is amazing.
We have been so pleased with our ongoing treatments and visits, that we have introduced a lot of friends and family to this clinic. If you really want a good experience and want to revert to a natural way of healthy, this is indeed the best place to begin, you will always feel the difference when you are there!

I first met Dr Ashok several years ago when searching for a solution for IBS after getting little success with western medicine. I then came across Dr Ashok after looking for a solution online. Dr Ashok clearly explained the reasons for my IBS and how it can be controlled\eliminated with dietary\lifestyle changes along with some very specific ayurvedic medication. My IBS has now been under control for years.

I have also consulted Dr Ashok for many other ailments we as humans suffer ranging from the common cold to back pain, tension headaches, insomnia, muscle\Joint pain, stress's of daily life and falling hair. I can honestly say that on each occasion I have walked away satisfied with the medicine, treatment and consultations.

About Dr Ashok himself, for me he is a very honest and genuine person\Dr who has the best interests of his patients at heart. His consultations are in depth and his understanding of the human body is impressive.

Dr Ashok takes the time to listen to what your concerns are to fully address your concerns, his patient and diligent approach is commendable and the time he affords you to help ease your concerns is also very welcoming.

I have taken numerous massages over the years now and always walk away feeling relaxed from them. These massages are different from traditional massages in the UK in that they use specific oils and techniques depending on the reason the massage is for. Shirodhara as a example is the most relaxing experience.

Dr Ashoks is supported by a excellent team who all bring different experiences and skills to complement a excellent all round team.

The location is easily accessible and the facilities onsite at the centre are excellent and clean, you feel like you are in a very plush environment, it does not feel like a medical centre or Dr surgery, its a very relaxing environment.

Dr Ashok is not just a Dr to me now, he is a very good friend of mine to who'm i have recommended many people. who in turn have had very positive experience too.

Visited Dr Ashok's on Saturday.. Booked in for a full body massage and a steam bath.
Without out a doubt this is the best massage i have ever had, it's very difficult to compare this with regular salons who offer massage although this was cheaper it was of a different quality and calibre all together.
Full Indian head massage followed by full body.
I will be a regular customer from now on.

On entering Dr Ashok's clinic you instantly feel relaxed; the free car parking is a bonus too. The staff are friendly, the clinic is furnished impeccably and it is all so clean. My only gripe was that when I booked the Shodana Basti the Wahanda website advertised it as a massage. When I sat down with the doctor to discuss my requirements and what I'd booked it turned out to be an enema! If you are shy or suffer with stomach problems this isn't for you. The doctor was very professional and the treatment made me feel detoxed and it's much cheaper than colonic irrigation but I was disappointed that the treatment was totally different to what I'd expected. Apparently the massages are out of this world, which is what I wanted!!
So PLEASE Wahanda do not advertise this as a massage!

Since having my little one- who is now 6 months old:-)), I had gone into post natal depression and visited Dr Ashok. He has been a very kind hearted and devoted doctor. He understands the root of the causes in terms of ayurveda and explains every aspect of the treatments, therapies medicines etc to a very fine detail. It is so personalised.

I had first gone in only for consultation and part of my treatment protocols were massages and shirodhara and herbal medicines. I am ever so impressed with the really holistic way I am being treated. Dr Ashok is very considerate, he made me feel so relaxed and his words meant a lot. His consultation tells he knows a lot and lot and lot and that is how he treats me so well that I feel 50 % better already. Past Two months of counselling etc was not helping me at all.

The massages and shirodhara are very unique experience. I have had different types of massages, but really, there is nothing like these!! The whole atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The place is so neat and to a really excellent standard.
My words are not just enough to describe how I feel on the top of the world with such great experience and recovery.

This is the first time,Believe it or not, I have not bought any material gift for my near and dear ones but have got them all a voucher for the massage at Dr Ashok's Clinic...this is the best gift in the best environment I could offer the people I love and really care for.

Great location, welcoming staff, nice waiting area, and fantastic massage!

The massage left me feeling relaxed and revitalised. The pressure was just right, nice and firm, and my skin felt lovely and moisturised afterwards.

I would definitely recommend.

I loved the fact that fully body meant full body, from my head to my toes, loved the friendly, attentive staff, loved the face massage, loved the steam bath at the end.

Cannot wait to go back!

I went for the deep tissue massage and face lift massage, followed by 10 minutes in the steam room, and will definitely be going back again.

The spa is lovely and clean, the staff are friendly, and the massage itself was relaxing but with just the right amount of pressure. It was also full body, including my feet and stomach!

Can't wait to book my next massage here.

I had the Deep Tissue Ayurvedic Full Body Massage and Ayurvedic Face Lift Massage and this has to be one of the best massages I've ever had. I felt really relaxed and that the treatment really made a difference as I've had a lot of trouble lately with pain in my neck and shoulders. I will definitely be going back.

Something I will mention though is that I was lying there for a period of time with my chest exposed. The therapist obviously wasn't bothered about this and neither was I but if you are uncomfortable with this kind of exposure, it may be worth a mention before the treatment begins.

Just what I needed in this horrible cold weather! The car park was a little icy but ok, and free! Took a while for them to let me in but then I was really early for my appointment. Lovely big squishy leather sofas to sit on while you wait and a camomile tea to relax me. Very good! I was taken to the lovely treatment room where I undressed and wore some very fetching paper knickers. I had a head massage first which was relaxing, the warm oil smelt wonderful. The therapist tied up my oily hair afterwards, ready for me to lie on the treatment table for my body massage. Superb, warm oil, and a good pressure (I'm quite sensitive but this was just about bearable for me). Back then front,

Following this relaxing experience she then massaged my face, concentrating on my sinuses as 'd booked the sinus cleanse. This was good, excellent pressure and again very relaxing. Then the sinus cleansing came! I had been a bit wary of this bit but it wasn't too bad! Some drops of medicated oil up each nostril which I had to inhale, then a burning sensation down my throat! Not terrible but 'interesting'. I was shown into the shower/sauna where I sat in the steam for 10 minutes as my skin absorbed the oils and my sinuses cleared.

I was advised not to have a shower for a couple of hours to let the oils absorb and provide the most benefits so I drove home with oily hair but feeling warm and relaxed. My skin feels amazingly soft now too.

I would recommend a massage as a treat to anyone, and I booked my partner in as I left! Go for it.

This was a brilliant massage by Ginse (female therapist). She worked on all my tense muscles, and I really felt like I had a thorough treatment. The steam at the end really left me feeling refreshed.
The furnishings and equipment are pleasant and really clean
