Ardencote Spa is the luxuriously appointed addition to the Ardencote Manor Hotel. The Manors former Victorian Coach House has been tastefully transformed, combining traditional English elegance and contemporary design.

Whether you are looking to visit the Spa for a day package or overnight stay, The Ardencote Spa will take you on a journey where you will experience the perfect marriage between wellbeing and relaxation.

The Ardencote Spa has 40 beautifully appointed bedrooms, based on a courtyard design surrounding the opulent outdoor heated swimming pool. The bedrooms have been designed to complement the boutique ambience of the spa; contemporary and chic in style, with views overlooking the grounds to enhance the sense of tranquillity and relaxation.

The recently opened Brasserie has again been designed with the spa guest in mind. The menu created by head chef Ian Buckle, allows an extensive choice of mouth-watering, seasonally adjusted dishes. The Brasserie Terrace offers the opportunity for guests to enjoy the classic views of the manicured lawns and topiaried Knot Garden.

The extensive Spa and Leisure facilities are central to the Ardencotes philosophy of exercise, relaxation and wellbeing, combining to produce a feeling of health and vitality. The landscaped grounds have been specifically designed to enhance this ambience, with voluminous beds of lavender adding visual vibrancy.

A friend and I booked into the Ardencote for the two day refresh spa break and were extremely impressed with the quality of venue and service we received for our money. The food in the Brasserie was very good and the wine was all lovely. The room was very comfortable and the spa facilities were all you would expect. We were blessed with great weather for our stay and so the outdoor pool & hot tub area was brilliant - the beautiful grounds also very much appreciated. The hot stone massage was one of the best I've ever had. Overall we had a lovely, relaxing stay and plan on returning in the near future.

Me and me wife stayed here for one night spa break. It is a fantastic place with some minor pick up, such as the relaxation room could of benefited by having some dimer light and some relaxation music in there, if you shut the door and turned the lights off its pitch black and can't see a thing. The food how ever was fantastic and the waiter went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. Apart from that relaxation room we had a fantastic day there and would recommend to anyone wanting a little bbreak.

Not bad, but not great either. Liked drinking bubbles in the hot tub. Food was very good. The hotel presents considerably better online than in reality - impressive external shots don't reveal a fairly bland and dated interior, and the room was dull, with plastic cups and not even a kettle. Staff service was functional but not massively warm - with the exception of the lad in the spa who was v friendly and professional, and one of the barmen (S African?) who clearly new his stuff and took pride in his work, with good small touches. Our breakfast waitress clearly just didn't want to be there, one of the barmen tried to put my (expensive) cognac in a half pint glass and add ice, and instructions of where to go and what to do by some of the spa staff were shoddy. It would have been nice to be told in advance to check in at the the spa and not hotel reception as this would have saved aching as lugging bags around - and is indicative of a sense that they are quite separate organisations. Cleanliness score came from a bathroom that was showing some mildew in corners but above all for the corridor between reception and spa which absolutely reeks of cooking fat. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for, and for the deal we were on, it was fine vfm - we had just expected a little more polish and sophistication from the impression we'd received when looking online.

Excellent facilities & amazing food. The spa treatments were great but I'd book more than what was in the package as it wasn't really long enough. A really wonderful place for a weekend break.

The venue is situated in a beautiful part of England with fantastic Pubs and surrounding area. The venue itself was very busy and I was surprised to see how busy the spa facilities were. We were looking for a retreat and was disappointed to find that there was nowhere to "escape". Everywhere you go (apart from early morning) had many people enjoying the facilities and I found the presence of people in their bath robes a bit uncomfortable. I expected it in the spa area but even in the brasserie where you enjoy breakfast/lunch & dinner bath robes were the preferred attire. Although the Hotel kept everything clean, the sheer number of people there made all the shared areas look unkept and many used coffee cups etc. was left out after use. Overall, it was ok but I won't return as I think I'm looking for something quieter and more relaxing.
