I visited with my husband for the half day spa experience and it was wonderful. The afternoon session ran from 2-6pm with use of all steam rooms, sauna, heated beds, pool and gym etc and includes tea/coffee and homemade biscuits.

The receptionists were very welcoming an informative, beautiful changing rooms with robes, towels and slippers really set the tone for an afternoon of pampering. There is plenty of ice cold water available throughout the spa and a very relaxing pool with different areas to make use of. After making use of steam rooms for a while my treatments commenced and I was not disappointed. The ILA body scrub treatment was sublime, left my skin super soft and smelt gorgeous. The therapist was very professional and friendly, explaining all the steps of the treatment. The same therapist did an eyebrow shape and I was very pleased with the results.

Yes, the treatments are a quite a bit higher than elsewhere but you certainly get what you pay for and will not be disappointed. I hope to return again in the future as it was perfect from start to finish.

I first went here 2 months after it opened and am happy to say it has maintained the standards it started with. Totally stunning setting with a wonderful warm welcome. You feel pampered from the moment you drive up in the enclosed courtyard. The rooms are all great and very comfortable. The fact that no children are allowed makes it a very different spa weekend. It is both relaxing and inspiring. The different steam rooms combined with the great jets in the indoor/outdoor pool make it very special even without treatments.

I don't feel it is any more expensive than a great many other spas but it is far superior. It is also worth checking on their special deals plus certain nights are at much cheaper rates. I went with my daughter on a Sunday and Monday and we got great rates. The first time I went they were quiet and they automatically upgraded me to a top of the range room - nice people! It worked because I went back...

I went to Whatley Manor as a 30th birthday treat with my partner and stayed at the hotel overnight, using the spa facilities for two days. It's quite pricey but if you do get two full days to use the spa if you are staying for the night. The spa itself was beautiful and peaceful, with lovely views from the main pool out to the green countryside. The hotel grounds were stunning, the food fantastic. The staff from the hotel and the restaurant were fantastic, although we found some of the staff in the actual spa a little snooty towards us! Overall though a really lovely weekend in a beautiful setting - I would definately go again.
