Aqua Sheko Soho Fish Spa part of Aqua Sheko

Aqua Sheko Soho will be closing down temporarily for refurbishment, we will be back soon with a fresh new look!

Aqua Sheko is the first ever fish therapy spa in London. In preparation for the treatment your feet are carefully washed, before being submerged in the Garra Rufa tank where you then sit sipping an exotic tea from Japan or China.

In preparation for the treatment your feet will be carefully washed and any sores or cuts covered with plasters before being submerged in the Garra Rufa tank, ready for the fish to work their magic. You will then sit sipping an exotic tea from Japan or China to relax you even more. For the next 30 minutes, you'll feel a light flutter of fins against your skin as the fish gently nibble your heels, toes and soles - removing dead skin which is already softened by the warm water. The ambient lighting and luxurious chairs will allow you to slide back and rest in tranquility whilst your pampering is done for you by those teeny creatures. After 30 minutes your feet will be feeling silky smooth and refreshed. Our dedicated therapists will then treat you to 20 minutes of foot massage. These artful firm moves will take away the rest of the tiredness and you will feel totally refreshed.

Complete this experience with our Oriental Minimalist decor, complimentary Oriental snacks and a choice of 24 Oriental teas, a genuine treat to go for!

I booked this voucher for the Soho salon which is closed for refurb, which is fine, except there is nothing on the website telling you this or a message on the phone line so it constantly just rings out - very annoying and wonder how many customers they are losing through this.....?

However, once I went to Kensington overall had a very good experience. Salon is small but nice ambience and staff extremely friendly. The fish pedicure is probably more of a novelty experience rather than something I'd have done regularly but still great value through Wahanda. Couldn't fault the reflexology - therapist was great and so relaxing I could have stayed there all day, well worth it!

We were running late but the staff were very flexible. The fish spa is not for everyone - my friend did not enjoy it at all! It's very tickly but once you get used to the sensation it's actually quite pleasant. The tea and snacks were very welcome, and we were provided with more when we asked, no problems!
The pedicure section is in the basement and being Soho, it is a bit dark and dingey, but done up nicely. Overall it was a good experience, although I wouldn't pay full price for it. My feet felt smoother afterwards, but whether that's just because they were soaked in warm water for 1/2 hr, I don't know!

This was the first time I have had this done, and it was an unusual experience. I spent the first 10 mins hysterically laughing and screaming. I had just about relaxed in to it when it was all over. We then had 10 mins foot massage, which was great, could have done with longer. We did however have to go to the Kensington Salon as Soho was closed

I went with a friend to the Kensington venue as the Soho one was closed for some reason. The salon is very clean. I really enjoyed watching the fish scrubbing my feet. We were given some water and some chocolate snacks. Afterwards my feet felt very soft.

At first we were a bit reluctant to plunge our feet into the tank with the hungry fish, but after 5 minutes you get used to the feeling and it just feels like vibrating water! Since the soho branch is closed for refurbishment we went to the high st kensington branch where we were offered a foot massage instead of the fish manicure, as they did not have the facillites. The staff at the spa were great and attentive, and the massage was brilliant!

I look over this voucher which I had bought as a gift having already had this treatemnt at 3 other salons and this was the cleanest and most relaxing that I have visited.

There was a polish man who washed our feet and then sat us down at the various fish tanks for our treatment and offered us a drink whilst we were treated. Relaxing ambience and great staff and central location. They even do a happy hour which was great to know.

Highly recommended and great value.

Nice and relaxing. They gave me well over the time which was nice. The staff were all very friendly. The venue looks a bit shoddy around the edges and was pretty much empty while I was there (that could be good or bad!) but the location is great and it was overall great value.

Very happy with this experience. I was nervous at first, i like fish but not sure about them nibbling me but it was really relaxing and it was nice to be with lots of other people going through the same experience! Everyone was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Staff were very friendly. Was a treat from my sister. The place had a good atmosphere. Quite a few people there but all appeared to be enjoying themselves. The pedicure and massage were brilliant. Very relaxing and pampering. The fish were bigger than I expected and very keen to get at your feet!! Good day out and ideal to go in a group of friends/family.

Aqua Sheko was easy enough to get to. Staff were very friendly. Place was busy but not overcrowded. We were supposed to have the fish manicure and pedicure but could not have the manicure as quite a few of the fish had died. We were offered a foot massage instead which we were happy with. Pedicure was great as was the foot massage. We would go again. Decor was looking a bit tired and in need of repair but on the whole a clean and friendly place.

Was a nice experience - I had had one before but my mother hadn't. We went for mothers day so it was a great thing to do for something different - i'd recommend it, staff were nice and it's a fun treatment.

The therapist was very nice and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I think this is one of the best places in London to have a fish pedicure/manicure and would definitely be going back.

Have been here several times before and its a great location with great fish and ambience. They clean your feet first (make sure you don't use any cream or moisturiser before) and make sure no infections before they sit you in with the fish. The fish are nice and big there and do a really good job. The hand tanks weren't fantastic this time (they have been in the past) as they were dying off but this has been sorted now so highly recommend.

The spa was lovely. Very clean. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being too intrusive. The fish pedicure and massage left my feet feeling very soft. A relaxing experience that I would recommend to others.

This deal I purchased with a friend was fantastic! The manicure and pedicure was great fun and we got snacks too! It was ticklish and we had a right laugh! After the whole experience, you could feel on your feet that it was smoother and had a bounce to every step! I would definitely recommend this deal to anyone who is not afraid of fish nibbling on them...

Fish pedicure was fab. Fish manicure was a little wierd but did the job! The spa itself is great - very sohisticated and well fitted out - feels like a real occassion which is nice as I have been for other fish pedicures where it is literally a fish tank in a plain room!

I didnt even get to go and use my voucher. Although the voucher was valid for 6 months everytime I tried to get an appointment for me and my friend it was always fully booked. I called last week as the voucher was about to expire and could not believe the mouthful I got from Rosina the receptionist. She basically gave out about; too many wahanda customers calling and shouldnt have left it to the last week, they get no money from this and I need to understand they have other customers and shes not going to over work her staff because of voucher people or extend the expiry date. I was happy to only use half the voucher and she still couldnt even find me a time slot. It was all rather disappointing and has definately turned me off ever trying this spa - Too bad Acqua as you have missed out on potentially a regular customer because of your rudeness before even getting me in the door!. .

On a positive note I have to give it to Wahanda!! Thanks Wahanda for being so brilliant and understanding when I explained what had happened and refunded my voucher. Excellent customer service, no dramas and made me feel like a valued customer. Great job and I continue to purchase from you (although suggest that you should vet some of your vendors so that they have capacity to fulfil their end of the bargain). .
