Visited Aqua Sana for the Decleor Mother to be Treatment which consisted of a facial, tummy mask and a foot and leg massage.

The venue is great, towels and robes on arrival, with slippers available for £1. Lockers are now operated with magnetic wristband rather than key. The waiting area for treatments was very very warm but luckily they had water with lemon and orange slices available. The treatment itself was great, very relaxing but in comparison to the waiting area, the room was cold.

The have a relaxation area for after treatments with water and herbal teas available which was great for winding down.

I popped into the spa after and was able to use the Turkish foot-bath, laconium and tepidarium as well as the water beds.

I went to Aqua Sana, along with my daughter for her 14th birthday party. I can honestly say it was wonderful. I have been to various spas for the last 5 years and I can say that this was wonderful. The spa was clean, the staff were friendly and it was very organised. Whilst there we had a facial (conducted at the same time in the same room). My daughter thought it was fantastic. Lunch was provided and was nice - this consisted of panini's, flatbreads and salads. I came out feeling relaxed and it was a perfect place to spend quality time with my daughter.

We will be going again. x

Went with my sister for her birthday. We usually go to Eden Hall but fancied a change so decided on Aqua Sana. We arrived early so went for breakfast first, when we arrived at the spa we were told to get changed and go through to the cafe for our complimentary free drink, however this is where it all went a bit wrong. On the website it clearly states that you get champagne on arrival, a free gift and 2 course lunch but that has all changed, now you get a smoothie, tea or coffee with a croissant pastry or fruit salad on arrival and just 1 course at lunchtime. We were told that the champagne and free gift didnt apply to us as we had booked a special offer(2 people spa day with massage and facial)although there is nothing on the website saying this, and that you only get the champagne as a full paying individual guest-also they had stopped giving gifts ages ago but she would find something but only for my sister!. We were pretty mift so decided to see the manager, who checked the website and agreed it was very misleading, she honoured everything we were expecting and couldnt apologise enough even fetching us a glass of champagne herself. So with this bad start out of the way our day began. It was great, lots of experience rooms although very limited spaces for lots of them an open air pool which was freezing but a good laugh. the changing rooms have elemis products for you to use and they have an area where every couple of hours they demonstrate how to use different elemis products and you try them out and get advice. The food lets it down, you only have a choice of pasta or a foccacia sandwich, and dont let the name Aldo Zilli fool you its pretty basic pasta that doesnt come with any side salad or anything. That said the staff and treatment were great. I would go again but i would book over the phone to be sure of what is included as the website still isnt clear, and i would consider the twilight spa instead and get there early and have lunch in one of the restaurants on site instead.

Where do I start... From ordering and booking through to the confirmations and arrivals this was the most stressful task ever. EVER.
We were made to feel like we were not worthy of being there. Firstly the booking woman took our details wrong and then denied making the wrong booking, then told us they couldn't change the date to the correct day, then they booked our treatments without telling us until we complained, the team leader was beyond useless, they have spoilt three of us celebrating our 30th together.

All- don't bother with this place that thinks they are gods gift to spa land, and then have the audacity to make us so stressed out about it that even the spa didn't help relax us.

What a waste and a typical scenario of "the customer is never right".

I love this place it is absolutely brilliant. Ive been going to Sherwood forest with my family for the past 10 years at least 2-3 times a year and because Centre Parcs have such great child care facilities it has meant that my partner and I have been able to take time out and vists the Aqua Sana. From the minute you arrive the staff are friendly and helpful and we usually go for the "world of spa" treatment. This is a three hour special where you can enjoy all the wonderful facilities that the the spa has to offer. There is an inviting swimming pool with no roof so if you manage to get a night appointment means you can look up at the stars while you enjoy a quiet swim. At the far end of the pool there are jacuzzi jets which allow you to rest on the side of the pool while the water jets stimulate your circulation and wash away the stress. once you have left the pool you can sample the roman foot spas or try the freshly made citrus ice face wash which is fantastic to stimulate your senses and is a real refreshing treat using real pieces of orange and lemon, the aroma is incredible. Walking around the lower floor there are several different steam room starting with the Indian Room which is remarakably hot and fantastic to open up your pores and get rid of all your toxins. My favourite room is the Japanese Steam Room which uses Jasmine,Rose and Eucalpytus to promote improved breathing. Just lying in this beautifully themed room is relaxing and knowing that inhaling the steam is working wonders for my Asthma by using natural ingredience instead of medical drugs is very refreshing. There are several other sauna rooms ranging in temperature to suit everyones tastes. After enjoying one of the many steam rooms why not try a rub down by the Lion ice fountain. Hour by hour this fountain produces crushed ice balls which are great to rub all over the body to stimualte circulation. After take a splash in one of the sensorary showers, which are wonderful. You can set the jets depending upon the type of shoer you desitre from a gentle mist to a full rain forest shower. The spa also has a very calming and inpiring Zen themed garden which is very tranquil and you may sit in this and take in the scenary. Upstairs there are more relaxation rooms and water beds dressed in extra large incredibly soft velvet throws. I have taken a book into the spa from time to time and just spent 30 minutes reading while relaxing on one of these beds and chilling out. If you get hungry there is a small cafe which serves many healty snacks. All in all this is a fantastic place which once you try you will want to go again and again. You leave toally relaxed, de-stressed and chilled. The value for money here is outstanding £40.00 per adult for the 3 hours, which is amazing value for money and which also means that you can have more than one trip to the spa while you are on your holiday at Centre Parcs. I can't say enough good things about this spa it's my idea of heaven.

Myself and my toddler son had haircuts together at Aqua-Sana and they were excellent. Lots of nice little touches made what can sometimes be a nightmare (getting a two year old to have his hair cut) a real pleasure.

There was lots of space in the Salon, it was quiet, the music was calm, the two lovely ladies who looked after us knew how to deal with small children, there was a special miniature robe with disney characters for Harry, I had a lovely hand and arm massage while my hair treatment was being done and best of all the price was good value for money at £35 for my wash, treatment, cut and blow dry and £15 for Harry's cut.

I had the 30 minute neck, back and shoulder Swedish massage at the the Aqua Sana Spa inside Sherwood Forest Center Parcs. It cost £34, so wasn't that expensive, but I still don't feel as if I got value for money.

Arriving at reception, I was told where the changing rooms could be found and to 'turn left'. These were the only instructions I was given, so after getting changed and turning left, I found myself at the intersection of two corridors with about eight chairs and twelve confused people. It turns out that this was the treatment waiting area, but this wasn't indicated and there was no member of staff on hand to ask.

Eventually some therapists arrived to call out the names of customers. This was done by surname only ('Smith for a Facial') and felt cold and impersonal. I had booked in for a 2pm slot. My therapist didn't arrive until 2:10 and made no apology for being late. I was shown into a treatment room which, in contrast to the too-hot waiting area, was very cold.

The actual massage was competent, but the therapist stopped at exactly 2:30 and left the room. So I had 20 minutes of massage having paid for 30.

On my way out I took the time to look round the rest of the facility, which is well appointed, but blandly decorated. It was very crowded, which is perhaps to be expected as the weather outside was terrible, but there were far too many people inside and the atmosphere was not relaxed.

It was a shame, but I get the feeling the staff were struggling to cope with the number of customers. I've no idea what the Center Parcs high-season is, but I thought mid-week in January would be quiet.

I'd have thought January would be almost the busiest month, with people using vouchers they got for xmas.

Went to Sherwood Forest for the first time on my friends birthday in Feb.Not sure what to expect as I didn't really associate Center Parcs with spas automatically!
We were very impressed from when we pulled up to when we left - We were greeted by our host offered drinks and then went of to get changed - The spa is well laid out and not too busy(Friday) and we had booked in for the de stress package which came with a back massage and facial both fab and then you get sent to the conservatory to relax on leather loungers in the sun with mock bear rugs - Excellent!
Lunch was a casual affair but appreciated as very relaxed and food was both tasty as well as healthy. The actual spa has a fab pool with jets as well many individual zones inside and outdoors.Sauna, steam etc etc
The balcony and water beds a great idea for chilling in the afternoon post lunch for a quick sleep!
Then tea and cake @ 3pm! Yummy!
Overall a great spa day - One of the best I have been to as so relaxed and friendly - Not like some others I can mention.
