No slippers available plus there was a large pile of rubble next to the Jacuzzi. Staff were condescending rather than helpful although they did bring our table outside so we could eat al fresco. Facilities were excellent especially the steam room and sauna. Shame the grounds are not landscaped as could've enjoyed some outside walking. Overall we had a good day but have visited better spas.

I booked a psa day for my mums birthday and we had a fantastic day out. We arrived and we were explained everything we need to know and offered tea, coffee and juice the whole day. We spent the morning in the spa facilities which are very basic but clean. The staff are very on the go, always making sure you have everything you need. After the spa we went for our massage which was great and the girls were very kind. After our treatment we had lunch which was also up to standards. All in all a great day out! Thank you to all the staff.

The massage was great but rather short. The place was really dated and quite noisy! (Swimming lessons in the same pool, lots of members in the hallway where our table was- people coming in and out). The massage was relaxing the rest of the spa could have a bit of a relaxin feel to it eg relaxation music, candles, aromatherapy scents. It wasn't very relaxing especially with children taking swimming lessons. The place needs to be upgraded as it is dated, especially the shower/changing area. Needs more if a relaxing spa feel rather than a 'local gym' feel. Food and staff were lovely though.

We turned up on the wrong day, but they didnt mind at all and accommodated us. The atmosphere and facilities were very nice especially sitting out on the patio after lunch - a suntrap! We enjoyed our time there and lunch was nice but nothing special.

The spa deal 'does what it says on the tin'!! The hotel needs a little TLC but clean. Just one small issue and that was when I booked on-line there was nowhere to request a twin room as opposed to a double - so please phone the hotel direct and request one as soon as possible as they don't have many twin rooms. Rooms are a little dated but again clean and decent sheets on the bed. The restuarant again is a little dated but the food was good and again value for money. The staff were great- really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The spa was good and again the staff were great. The hotel is very popular for weddings so if going on a weekend you may want to check that too. The hotel looks as if it is near to the town centre on the map on the website but it is not so don't think you can stroll into town. All in all my friend and I had a nice chilled out time and we felt that we had value for money- you do get what you pay for.

Treated my Mum for her birthday and she loved it.

Therapists were amazing, I think my Mum said she fell asleep during her back massage. The spa was lovely, nice and quiet during the week.

Hotel was set in lovely grounds, no lifts up to the rooms but they did offer to take our bags. Staff were really helpful and accomodating.

Got completely lost getting there....Do Not Travel at Night......!!! Beautiful Shere Village was good to see though ....BUT the Hotel is NOT there!!!!
Hotel grounds seems OK for wedding reception etc, reception OK but front porch littered with very old indoor plant s....not very good for first impression!!!
Staff were very courteous, good and cooperative, even had my check out extended, breakfast was VERY good, not sure about the mixed changing room for pool, small steam and sauna....
In all it was good to experience the peace & quiet, and a chance to see my relatives...
Cheers | Chris...

I had a lovely one night break with my Mum here. Lovely spacious bedroom, and beautiful local area. Spa facilities were a bit basic/small, but still had a nice time. Free refreshments (tea, biscuits, fruit, juice etc) was a nice touch.

Good gym, with helpful knowledgable staff. The spa area was fine, but unfortunately the steam room was out of order. Good sauna, and nice pool, with the water at a comfortably warm twemperature. Our hotel room was a bit small with a low ceiling, and the bed was small and rather hard. Our massages were very good, though finished a bit quicker than expected.

Value for money if you're paying the deal price but wouldn't spend the full advertised price. The therapist was advised she'd be dealing with a pregnant lady for a treatment but wasn't particularly bothered about suggesting something that would be ok to do (obviously massage was not permitted). A little more care and concern would have gone a long way.

I was working down in Guildford at the time and me and my lady just fancied a wee break. Staff were charming and it was a wonderful escape for a night. Lovely grounds and facilities. Definitely recommended

The hotel grounds were beautiful, perfect to go for a nice stroll. However, the facilities were not that great. When we arrived in the afternoon the bar and restaurant were closed so we had to go to the local pub for lunch. I didn't find the staff particularly friendly or welcoming. They didn't seem to pay attention to the comings and goings!
The room we stayed in was very standard looking but comfortable. We only used the gym in the hotel as the pool was being used for swimming lessons for kids!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but I wouldn't go back there again!

A lovely weekend break and a very good price! Our rooms were a good size and the treatments that we had were very relaxing. We would go back here again if another deal came up.

Took my mum as a birthday present and wasn't sure quite what to expect but other than ourhotel room being on the verge of a little run down (possibly others are better), the building and gardens are beautiful and the spa and gym is in good condition, the classes entertaining and the whole place very much empty enought to enjoy. The girls doing the beauty treatements were excellent too, and they're good value compare to some places! Would definitely go again.

Took my daughter as a birthday treat. We had a nice room and breakfast. The hotel is quiet and clean. The staff were very friendly. The spa is lovely - nice swimming pool with lounging chairs and a steam room & sauna. Plus a cafe where you can sit in a dressing gown to eat! The massage we received was not the best in the world (too soft pressure) but overall it was pleasant. I definitely plan to return.
